The classically trained sugarcane in this piece😮
I saw this concert in my early young years on german television. Alone in the dark. :-)
I DON'T WANT TO THINK WHAT YOU DIDWUAOOO... THERE ...LoL
Cool. Very cool.
Ich habe es live im TV gesehen. Unvergessen, wie er auf dem Boden liegend ekstatisch spielt !!!
WHAT A BEAUTYFUL VIOLIST
......how can this be, only 1589 hits????????? well, at least there are no 'thumbs down', guess that's something 😳
Brilliant work by Harris and his band. Thanks for posting it.
+novaculus Had to, it was the only track that hadn't been posted!
Great concert!
Ayo i shatter dream
Der Herrliche, der Wundervolle, der Sommer, die Sonne !
Also of "Don and Dewey" fame! Recorded a song called "At the Juke Joint" . Don on Violin, Dewey on piano, just before Don passed. I wonder if it was ever released?
a fantastic version of 'Don & Dewey' can be found in 'Its A Beautiful Day' LP
I really love this … thank you for posting it
Jes❤🎉😊
Why I haven’t heard about Sugarcane until now is beyond me 😠
One of the hidden wonders of the music world
Show de bola. Tenho o vinil, mais ainda não tenho a vitrola pra escutar. Mais assim sinto um pouco dessa sintonia
a great moment in converging artistry
1971 ........1971 MAN.
Maravilhoso!!!!
Excellent play!° Milestone! :)))) Way ahead!
AWESOME!!
I love this. :-)
OMG!!!
👍
I love this record, bought it in 1972. Sugarcane Harris was the only other violinist playing Fusion other than Jerry Goodman who could really cook. His solos on Zappa's Hot Rats and Little House were just outstanding. I can't stand Jean Luc Ponty, he tends to play flat.
Love his playing, but I hate his sound. The electric violin hook-ups of the 70's was rubbish.
