- Even when the highly-anticipated new school was released, the numbers for Royale High didn't go up. In today's video, I talk about 3 reasons why people are leaving Royale High. However, with more updates coming, I'm excited about a potential resurgence of the RH community! I hope this can be a good discussion space for us to talk about the Royale High community recently and can inspire the developers to take action as well.

Really miss how RH isn’t even a SCHOOL roleplay game anymore 😭 The devs have seem to forgotten that the game is a Royale HIGH SCHOOL not just a castle where we dress up and do random quests, etc.
Well, it’s a school, but they are just working on bugs ONLY and not realeasing the actual gameplay or classes.

@@TomatoPotatoRHAll roleplay I used to do was in enchantix, and they took that.. How I miss trapping people in the dark fairy dorm cage as a rp, and just roleplay. I was happy in enchantix, you don’t see it as pretty as campus 3, but honestly it had more gameplay.
My PC is so old that it couldn't even handle the graphics of the new school. I wish they bring the old menu back
Exactly! Majority of people don’t have the high tech needed to run such a nightmare. I’ve literally had to quit the game because of this. The devs do not care about the community and it shows

those days were MAGICAL. I remember coming home from elementary school and running to my laptop and playing roblox royale high for hours doing stupid roleplays with the basic jakes and my girls. there were no heels except the chicken legs ones and the nice simple skirts.
also everyone was just nicer back then 🤣

Now if anyone even tries roleplaying, they're bullied or harrassed for it . Part of Royale Highs appeal to me was legit just having fun and doing silly school roleplays.

I used to ignore people who wanted to roleplay when I was still playing the game, because at the same time, you grow up and there's things you just don't do anymore. I'm not gonna roleplay on roblox in my 20s 😭. I used to roleplay when I was younger yes but bc I was a child, now I have responsabilites.

dude, EXACTLY. they've added so much expensive stuff, but no new ways to get diamonds, like with the floating hearts around realms, they're only worth a few diamonds whereas sets cost hundreds of thousands of diamonds. it's ridiculous, and exactly why i stopped playing.
As someone who literally has all the game passes (including the 6x diamond multiplier), I still somehow can’t afford to get all of the sets. The inflation in this game is actually crazy 😭. The shoes in the new sets can cost up to 70-90k alone… and with there being more and more elements in each set it’s getting annoying to farm for hours at a time just to complete the set. Not to mention that before the new school came out, they kept the Saint Patrick’s update so the only way you could get a decent amount of diamonds was through enchantix. The whole game is basically just money and aesthetics now. It’s really a shame. I hope the devs will listen one day and we can go back to the good old days.

Same!! Ive been playing since 2018 and i bought all the gamepasses in 2020. I still have like 2 or 3 completed sets. I cant afford anymore and getting more diamonds still takes so long. I recently joined again since christmas 2023, and i saw one of the new sets and its like 70k for a pair of SHOES?? like what??? The prices are definitely one of the reasons i stopped playing. I would totally start playing again more often if the prices were lowered. Its crazy.
Im sure the last time I checked, they decreased the price.
I played for 5 years and still haven’t got a halo, and no one even roleplays anymore everyone just flexes and gets sets and dresses up
The main thing I dislike it having to teleport everywhere. Like it takes unnecessarily long time to get anywhere in the campus.
Same, that's why I play on campus 1 or 2. But it gets so boring since hardly anyone interacts with each other.
@@starfy5411one time a few weeks ago I found a group of people dressed in 2018 outfits and I joined them it was so fun to just roleplay in old outfits 😭 we made a friend group and we roleplaying sometimes. If you find the right server there will be people roleplaying or wanting to roleplay
Omg same. I like that map when you first join the game that tells you your login rewards and teleports you right to them. They kept removing and re-adding the map and then removed it again for the Christmas update. It just started getting annoying by that point so I just completely stopped login in.
Not only that, also the lags are ridiculous..
@@ixiepeach6787 I definitely agree, and you could also teleport to your login from your phone along with spin the wheel and to the fountain but they got rid of it and they haven’t brought it back… :(

Everything was great before players with halos started demanding a huge amount of diamonds for halos if you ask me
honestly same thing with bloxburg. with the new owners theyre adding more things for building instead of roleplaying. Our childhood games were built on roleplay and our own creativity but now theyre justing using those games as a cash grab and we dont see the spark in the game anymore

I personally don’t see an issue with bloxburg and role playing. Sure it’s not the same as before but it still works. Some people are just there for the builds, yes. But me personally I love adding a bunch of kids stuff and then role playing with it. They add new interactive stuff rather often and I always see people role playing in my servers.
I started playing Royale High around 2019. Started to drift away during 2023.
I don't even know where to start, but Royale High has been my childhood game that I always played during the pandemic. I used to excitedly open my laptop just to do my login routines and chill at the trading hub, I remember waiting for every seasonal update that comes out and it was all a blast. I rarely play anymore as I have no idea on what to do at Royale High, I even find Adopt Me much more amusing.
To be honest? I really think its the developers' fault for not listening to the community.
I know how they have been "working hard" on the new school, I even thought in the past that the new school would bring so much joy to the community.
But during the period where we were all just waiting for the new school, it was the time where the player count started going down.
The way the developers just want the game to have standards that a "princess" should have, they even left out the male bodies turning them into a weird looking 11 year old boy's body. Aswell as remaking those blocky accessories to fit the bodices they've made
I agree the developers aren't listening to the public ideas and they already know what because of this the whole population is going lower.
That's what happens when the devs just doesn't care about the community or didn't listen what the players want and also they dont want to accept criticism..
I agree. There were many things the community asked for that they never fulfilled, they just kept adding completely different things that were like minor changes.

I really feel like the royale high community needs to come together and boycott royale high and demand changes until the devs actually listen to us
I actually don’t think they have a plan at all for the new school. I think they HAD a plan but scrapped it.
Point A: if I fly to the left or right at the front of the school, after around two seconds I hit an area that is completely under detailed. For something in the works for 4 years now, you think it would look better.
Point B: why in the heck would they release it in parts? Like I get it, to hype people up and it was working but the last wave we had was around 2 months ago. They are NOT done and still need more time!
Point C: the lunch room should 100% be done. In October of 2020 they made an update log about how it was 98% complete. Why wouldn’t we be getting it now? It makes no sense. They either scrapped it completely, something happened to the file or flat out lied.
Point D: they made a whole *beep* dorm room with a spa and it looked great, only to swap it for something completely less detailed and more boring. They made the castle heart from scratch to replace the lockers. Like come on! Why would you get rid of so much work!? If the castle heart was made from scratch in around 3 months then how would we still be waiting for more time for smaller things?
Point E: how in the heck is the role play element going to work? We aren’t going to be able to do the old of way of something popping up on your screen saying it’s time for class and then teleport to it because you wouldn’t be teleported to a far away part of the map, you would be teleported to whole new sever which has a whole other problem. How are they going to add the role playing? I honestly don’t think they will.
Point F: the first part of the game looks great! Enchanted forget, the enchanavures spawning point, and the kingdoms themselves but everything just goes down hill. It’s like those parts DID have time spent on them which made them great but everything else was rushed. From pictures and teasers we had this school had many cutter out things. The only room I could find that matched one of the teasers? The spa area in the bathrooms and nothing else.
Point G: EVERYTHING IS SO *BEEPING* EXPENSIVE!! we were supposed to have jobs get put into the game, that was something that was confirmed but we hadn’t heard anything from them about it. Not to mention how players have put up the prices for everything and the devs pick to instead of making a chart to show everyone the real prices, they picked to go along with it and make everything so expensive. With quests also they COMPLETELY DESTROYED any reason to go play sunset, it’s just a waste of time. I don’t think it’s actually possible for new players to do anything. They don’t see this as role play game anymore, or should I say the main people in charge?
Last but definitely not least point H: THE. DEVS. CAN’T. DO. ANYTHING. ABOUT. IT. yes you heard me right. Devs like ice7 or reddietheteddie can’t say anything about it. Why? Because Barbie and sticks pick what gets added into the game, not the other devs. These devs just get told what to do, they do it, they get paid, and repeat. Barbie isn’t listening to the players why would she listen to her team? I don’t think she is at all. Do the players have part of this to blame because of how the community has responded with towards something that didn’t deserve it in the past? Yes. We shouldn’t be blaming the devs for announcing things, we should blame the ones that pick what goes into the game instead.
*so, ima say it. I wish we had a better leader for the game. I want there to be a new leader, one that can actually make this game and its folks better.*

And literally one time i just tried to interact with some people because i was bored they literally just called me a leprechaun for about 20 minutes- (i was only wearing a cosplay that had green overalls and plants with it if you were wondering)
The community isn't even the same as before even if the realms are still around though and for some reason the roleplayers almost kinda disappeared.

When I used to play rh, I used to make friends very easily, and the people were very nice. I also miss Enchantix high, it was very fun and entertaining. Now, People are just grinding, not having fun trading, and nobody is starting rps or interacting with anybody. I used to go in the lobby and see nice people chatting around and having fun... Now it's just bland and people are just dressing up, leaving, and walking around... And most of the people are rude.

I 100% agree. The game is more about aesthetics and not actual role playing now, the game is so expensive to play that new players can’t afford ANYTHING. plus there’s nothing to do in the new school accept for like musical chairs…ITS ALSO VERY LAGGY

i agree too, i literally just stopped just playing rhe musical chairs in general because of how laggy it was (and it also kinda just felt like i was wasting my time for only 300 diamonds)
The fact we WAITED for the new school to come out back then and they never released a date. The updates kept going on but the new school never came. Then they announced the new school again and there was no date when will it come out. It came out now, useless as ever. Why did they make us wait?

Another thing is, that with the new map and rather "aestehtically pleasing ui" lags and gives a hard time to mobile pkayers, like myself. It nakes our device slower, and it's overrall super confusing to navigate. Most of these little details dont even load on the phone, which defeats the whole purpose. I fell the colour tone is a bit too pink which makes it hard for me to click and see stuff, especially when changing the teleportation from campus to worlds. But again, rhis can be fixed by giving a simpler ui and maybe spawning the players outside of the new campus when they join the game.

I definitely agree. When i was younger, rh was like the ONLY game i played cuz its very interactive and it didnt matter about anything cuz the content i watch, the people i socialize, the game itself was interactive and interesting for me for many years. But as the new school was being released, it feels like its only there just to show off how pretty it can be. Its like a place only for pictures. They also got issues with the price of items being so high but the amount of diamonds u get is so low, preventing the use of certain interactive things. Its still fun and i do play it here and there but its just no longer fun anymore..
Yeah it "took forever" because of "details" they didnt even need to make it that detailed like brookhaven its not that detailed but with gears and settings it has purpose,but the purpose of the game dissapeared and so did the players and influencers.
@@Teacup199 I seriously don’t know if it’s my device or the game itself but when I get close to the fountain in Divinia Park, it lags like hell. I can’t even move. However, it doesn’t lag when I was in the locker courtyard, the class, and the main office. There’s a game that I play that looks more detailed than RH and it doesn’t lag one bit. I’m seriously confused.

The prices are totally messed up. The christmas update, for example, in 2023 changed the price of presents from 200 to 500. It’s 250% higher, and also, if you wasted 6200 with presents before, now you would waste 15500 diamonds. Like, this is the price of an average sleeve in the game 🥲
the reason i quit was because of the many items that were released. i feel like nobody cares about going to class or whatever and people only care about buying sets. and now, everything costs many many diamonds.

I wish diamonds were easier to farm, I don't want to and don't have time to stare at my screen for several hours just to grind diamonds, and even AFK farming doesn't get me that far. Another thing I hate is how laggy it is. Not everyone got good graph pc, and I am on mobile. Royale High is barely playable now and this SUCKS

I like the aesthetics, but since the new school is so high performance many people such as my friend, can’t even play it so I feel that’s another small factor :(
im gonna be so honest, the only way i can think to fix it is to pull it back to how it was in 2017-2019 and, beside bug fixes, STOP UPDATING IT.
maybe salvage some things, some sets, sunset island, the memorial, etc, but other than that, just make it SIMPLE again. its so complicated with the new school and cutscenes and all the new stuff, all the people really want is for it to go back how it was, (and enchantix back).
i miss going to the fountain, putting 200 diamonds from my tiny reserves, and losing all of it and not even being mad because the scenario was funny, or getting a dorm with my sister and "playing video games" on the beanbags in her dorm, doing the leprechauns event and getting that SWEET flower crown, the dramatic roleplays, heck, EVEN THE OLD MUSIC USED!! i had to search for years to find the one where you are leaving the ball, and it holds such fond memories now
now, its all about TRADING and HALOS, and DIAMOND FARMING, and its so DEAD.

I miss enchantix, it was one of my favorite places to roleplay. I wish they would bring it back, they could have created a second map with both enchantix and the hotel on it so we can still go there

You wanna know why they removed enchantix high and fantasia hotel? Because of copyright. Back when royale high was called Enchantix high school for fairies and mermaids, it was the first game on roblox based off a fairy show named winx club. You can see in fantasia hotel when you go inside a dorm, there's a TV and only winx club in it.

Bro, I cannot belive them right now, the developers need to be stopped.
a little before the new school came out, i was really into royale high and had a pretty high level, lots of diamonds and rare items, but my account had gotten hacked and i lost all my stuff. i quickly made a new account and started trying to get back to where i was. i’d gotten like 2 sets before kinda getting burnt out and taking a break, i came back when the new school was released and i really didn’t like it. i played royale high for a long time and the new school is missing everything that made royale high so fun (just like you had said in the video).
I remember in 2019 or 2018 when i started playing this game. I loved it and it was fun going to classes and roleplaying as a dark fairy and taking care of the babies in the old campus and playing the new updates like halloween,christmas,easter etc
but then everything started becoming more and more expensive and there was becoming less fun to do because people started stopping to roleplay and i couldnt enjoy dressing up because i couldnt afford anything anymore and grinding was just boring and tiring for me. At some point i just quit because it felt like there was not anything fun to do and even the quests werent exciting at all. Its sad to see what this former fun and exciting game came to be .

I think a major issue affecting roleplay and the reason why there is no schedule is because of the amount of realm hopping we have to do which is a direct consequence of the large campus! First of all its really annoying to realm hop esp cuz everything has to load in AND you gotta wait for friends too to do anything. The roleplay isnt as seamless as it used to be and now to rp with anyone you HAVE to friend them!
The quests and badges are clearly trying to promote more social activities despite it actually being extremely difficult to talk to anyone because everyone is so focused on the quests people dont want to talk to eachother! Like cmon its so hard to find a partner for study sesh! And the tree badge was so damn hard YOU NEED 10 PEOPLE AND 10 IS THE SERVER LIMIT!?!?! it was nearly impossible to do on public servers😭😭
Schedules cant happen because they're local to the server the realm is on and since there are multiple with different start timings itd be extremely difficult to unify them unless they make it global and the same for everyone! Which again wont work very well unless ur friends with the ppl ur rping with(they should try to add a party system maybe-)
Oh and its super difficult to comunicate between realms honestly its an easy fix considering we already have a phone, they should try making it a collapsible window that you can move around and add groupchats!
Me and my friend get on with the intention to play together but because of all the quests and stuff we get distracted and end up just farming seperately from eachother. The only time i actually had fun in the new school was when i was showing my friend eastereggs and talking about possible story elements
The gameplay is repetitive and has been the same for years and the inflation is horrific, the prices increase but our earnings do not! AND THIS IS A GAME😭😭 I DONT WANT TO BE ANNOYED WITH REALITY WHILE PLAYING A GAME!

This is literally so true. Especially the part about the prices. Like why don't they add MORE things that you're able to get diamonds from except logins and level ups? Literally if somebody on royale high was consistent and did every way to get diamonds in royal high (im not counting trading btw) They would only get like 1,000 diamonds which probably sounds like a lot but if somebody has to always pay 20,000 & up for stuff im pretty sure thats not gonna help. Plus (this might just be my problem) i can't even type/chat anymore in the new school because it just either crashes or freezes the whole thing 😢
@@GreydaCloud exactly! 30k diamonds for a hundred levels with no multipliers is ridiculous! Depending on logins for earnings is not the way to go!
I'm not sure about the chat problem tbh, I haven't experienced it but different devices can have different issues, sometimes I get stuck moving in a certain direction until I reset or I'm unable to move my camera on my phone
My laptop only has the movement issues every now and then

as a small content creator myself, i definitely agree. It's so hard to come up with new ideas without copying everyone else. It's even harder for me since I only want to produce informative videos, not halo answers etc yk? i'd rather not give false hope.

I remember someone saying "When the majority of people in your game are just teleporting from one place to another" and it just sums it all up because there is barely roleplaying, not even interaction anymore. i join a server and look at the chat seeing absolutely nothing.
I got hacked from Roblox 3 times so trying to get rich in Royale High without robux is REALLY frustrating and hard.
Is just too much, the new campus is so overwhelming I played it for 10 minutes before I just couldn't do it anymore. Even after watching countless CZcams videos explain it I have no idea what's going on there.

In royals high, things got tricky with the severs dividing different places. Before, we could easily move from one place to another, but now its a bit of a hassle. It feels like I am stuck where I started the rp. By going to the dorms or any other ares it can easily mess up the storyline and characters. It’s also harder to plain big rp events. That’s why I mainly think people don’t like to rp as much anymore. Oh then also we have to worry about the sever being full

I agree, the split servers for each area definitely effect role play! in the old schools, the all-in-one makes it so people can run around and do a bunch of things, while the split server areas suck and make it difficult to have an effective and fun easy role play without teleporting here and there

that's definitely one of the biggest annoyances with playing the game, especially with the long in-between times and frustration to transport groups of people between worlds to go do another activity on the game. they should really look into these little things because every small annoyance causes people to drop off of the game!

I was an old player that had not played the game in years and suddenly came back a week ago. I was actually pretty amazed with the new campus, the voice-acted bits, and the new element mechanic. When I got to the quests, I was expecting something out of a fantasy RPG, but the quests turned out to just be like a bunch of chores. I was disappointed that some of the quests required me to spend some of the diamonds that I decided to save for the expensive sets. It also did not help that the fountain sometimes takes away your hard-earned diamonds.
I was also pretty disappointed that there weren’t any classes, only some rainy day game. In the past, I never role played, but I recently started getting into it because of another RP game called Fantasia, so I suppose I understand how the others feel.
Also, Royale High follows the “magic school” trope. Magic school RPs are one of my most favorite RP types, so now I’m realizing how sad it is that I haven’t seen any role players. It also feels like the elemental mechanic is underutilized.

Omg I was just saying this today when I logged on to Royale High. This is just my opinion but it's like "too perfect" now.. I can't explain it but at first it was genuine and I had more fun, but now something about it makes me not want to play anymore. It doesn't have that old feeling that I got when I played in 2022. It's like the looks are now more important than the actual comfort feeling. It feels so cold now with the only focus being the stress of getting diamonds. No other form of fun. I noticed how there are less players now too.

I feel like the devs are under the impression that since the game is got older the players out grew role playing because they are thinking “jock cheats on ugly girl at the dance so ugly girl gets a glow up to revenge!!” From 2019 when someone says “role playing”, the devs need to consider ways older audiences and younger audiences to play the game and both have fun. I feel like the spring update that removed the diamond places and updated the castle a few years ago was when the items seemed a lot more expensive since it wasn’t easy to get diamonds anymore. The devs also need to remember that their players from 2017 are more mature and don’t play roblox anymore and the younger kids are starting to play it but when they join it’s so confusing and boring so they pick a different game, plus they have school, homework, and friends to play with so they don’t have all day to farm diamonds to become “cool”. Kids are gonna see the game and think “Ooo a cute princess school role play game!” Then when they join they go “why is every so expensive?! Where can I role play with kids?! I quit this is boring!!”. There should be more activities for all ages.

I wish the devs decided to explore more ideas of the lore. This would lead to more players actually roleplaying, as the game establishes itself as an RPG ( which it is) and not a grinding simulator for hyper inflated items. They could do this by adding in a library, various books would tell us about different parts of the world e.g plants, creatures, the magic system, hierarchy etc.. Additionally, they could add in a librarian job. Players could check out books, answer questions about the books (which means they would have to read most of the books) and just do librarian things, all for a GENEROUS amount of diamonds, which increases as they level up their skills in the library.

I strongly agree. They added elements to the game, which I thought was a cool addition, and it reminded me of those Quotev magic school quizzes that sort you into elemental houses similarly to how Hogwarts in Harry Potter sorts students in houses based on their personality. A magic school RP should have been fun, but instead of fun classes, we get musical chairs.
This just reminds me a certain animated movie released in the year 2023 that had so much potential but ended up being bland.
Yeah and the older campus we will all get a notification when the class starts but now it's people's choice if they wanna go to class or not, I just feel like the devs wasted so much time for no reason they could've take things from campus 1 and 2 and implemented it in the new school, the space is also too big so maybe they should've made the castle small so that no one will lag, I also notice in some roleplay games like brookhaven it's not laggy and almost all the stuff are free, and they should've made it so that we don't have to teleport to each part of everything because that really effects the gameplay or the roleplay perhaps, like back then we all roleplay freely in one space(server) but now if you roleplay in the main campus you will have to add the person your roleplaying with so that you can go to other parts of the school like dorms😢. Also the items are priced SOO HIGH back then the highest costing skirt is 33k?(ltbs) while today a skirt from a set costs 23-50k also the shoes i felt so fancy with my 2k pair of shoes back then but now a pair of shoes costs 30-80k FIXXX YOUR GAMEE CALLMEHBOBBBB😢

i havent played the game in SO Long and decided to come back a few days ago, and i was like everything looks rly nice! and after walking around for a day i found out there is literally nothing to do 😭 like literally nothing, other than the same boring grind routine if you go to the old school, and since every single thing costs money that you rarely get, there is very very little to nothing you can do :/ the game has downgraded so much and its pretty sad
I honestly agree, i have played royale high for over 3 years and I genuinely miss the old campus and stuff, fantasia especially! I used to do hotel roleplays and it was so nostalgic i really miss it. Now royale high is just about trading and having halos. Things are WAYYY more expensive than they were before. Im taking a break on royale high until they listen to what the community actually says and focus on the gameplay than the aesthetic.
Okay, so i love royale high I used to play for hours each day, roleplaying with friends, talking to people, etc. i feel like rh has changed alot, like ofc it looks stunning, but none of my friends play anymore because of lagging, crashing, and basically cant even play anymore. I’m also kinda mad abt all the prices of everything, like when i started rh everything was a normal price, like a skirt would be 20-35k. No one was focusing on grinding and actually enjoyed the game. Now i just occasionally join, and leave after 5 minutes.
Dang im literally going through the exact same situation tbh. Literally my cousin can't even play rh with me anymore because its so laggy to the point it just makes his laptop completely crash or freeze. Because most players in royale high are little kids so they mostly use mobile devices to play royale high and not computers and high end devices and then they get kicked out because of the laggyness. In royale high's early years there would always be a roleplay happening. You never had to think about what to do in the rp cuz there was so much in game content. Like classes, the dark fairy dorm from enchnatix and much more.
Now roleplaying is so hard. Firstly you have to find people. And you have to figure out what to roleplay about.
Before there werent many dress up items so anyone could make diverse characters. Now the standards for good outfits is so high that basic one from 2018 are considered ugly.
It would be awesome if royale high made a 2nd copy if the game specifically for roleplaying. The could make the items free like they were back in 2017.
Also people arent as friendly these days. I try to start conversations but most of the time people will ignore me. I want to rp with people but no one will even bother responding to me when i ask. None of my friends play roblox anymore and i have now hopped onto that train.
I miss the old royale high, the new one has no soul, has expensive items and people who dont interact at all with eachother.

I’ve played Royle high since around 2017 and 2016 and Im really sad to see how degraded this game has become. I made a lot of fun memories in this game back in the day.
They really want to perfect the decorate a lot! They totally change it pretty much every event which doesn't leave much time for really important updates on gameplay like classes, rooms, etc. The royal high team needs to understand that we don't need a perfect décor, a shocking quality... No, we just want to take our old good memories of royal high back and renew them on this new campus.
yeah, I think the lower quality old games but much higher player engagement/play count really goes to show that more isn't necessarily better, and that's why the newer updates have felt so frustrating.

I think the players need to understand on this one, the decoration done every season is rather a sustainable update, why?? bcuz they can save the seasonally decorated school, so next year they will focus more in new sets and other things. let's be patience, coding out creative ideas and imagination isn't easy. I really wish Royale high had a story mode, because the prologue thing where you got your element in the new school, I really liked that and thought we would have more of that. A story mode would be cool too, cause maybe they could add rewards for doing it. But this is Royale high. They don’t communicate with us.
I started playing Royale High in 2017 when it was first released and from there I played for hours pretty much everyday until 2022. I just feel like the roleplay aspect of it is gone. People just want to farm diamonds, trade valuable items, etc. I miss the fun classes, the fairies and mermaids, the school day schedules. It's like they just forgot about all of the best parts. But, considering I grew up with the game, I do hope it makes a comeback.
Royale high used to be my favorite game. During quarantine i would wake up, do school, eat, play royale high, sleep. That was IT. Later in 2022 i started getting bored. The last time i played was during the 2023 Christmas update. I recently joined again to checkout the new school, and realized that everything is SO. EXPENSIVE. like what? And the roleplaying was my favorite part of the game, and now its so sad to see people getting made fun of for roleplaying, IN A ROLEPLAYING GAME. i want the old community back, it was so much better. I dont think ill ever return to the game and it really hurts to say that after all the time ive spent playing it. Though, ill probably still do check-ins every now and then. I still enjoy making outfits with the stuff i have now. Thats the only part i find fun now. I dont know if im just being dramatic, but im really sad to see how this turned out. Quitting a game that used to be my favorite hurts. Anyways thats my little rant.
Another thing that i dont like abt campus 3, is that it kinda takes time to move on from one place to another (for example: castle heart to school office) and it shouldn’t tbh. It even makes you change server so to balance roleplays its gonna be hard, unlike in campus 1 &2..

my god, I just now realized I've been playing it for 7 years now! it feels like it was yesterday, all these goofy and childish but such valuable roleplays were the main task of a game. now it feels like callmehbob doesn't care about RH anymore. Also, time passes, and my PC is still laggy and old, so, neither I have the desire to play, nor good computer hardware
omg fr i just joined rh to see how it was like. 4k players and most of them were new ones!! It honestly feels sad to see rh in this state. Like in 2018 - 2022 I was playing rh EVERYDAY, like my sister introduced it to me and i remember i loved it. Made so many friends, loved updates christmas, halloween, beach house dim beach, new years etc. ESPECIALLY SUNSET ISLAND. I really hope rh comes back to life.

This is absolutely true. Royale high was super delayed doing the school it took 4 years.. I remember I was so happy for the new school, they said they were going to upload it on 2022 but I waited 2 years for this? I mean it’s pretty but it’s not fun, it’s really boring for me and they still don’t even upload a new class? and there wasn’t new years, Christmas was boring… everything now it’s so boring there they don’t even upload anything new, so I stopped playing I’ve been a player since 2017 but this just made it a bad game there’s a lot of other games so this isn’t a good game for me.
Yeah honestly. I didn't even know there was gonna be a whole school update until I joined one day and everything had changed. I was very fond of both the previous maps. The current one is just too big for me, and it seems like everyone is meaner somehow.

I honestly just play for the dorms because I like making them. But the devs just don’t care anymore. Like remember when people were getting banned? People are still getting banned and they’re not doing anything about it. Like in a couple months or years time I bet there will be a corset for 100k- it’s not fair for the new players because of how expensive it is. I'm pretty sure Royal high just doesn't care about the community. They delete badges of rhyoutubers, which is destroying the game even more. These ytubers didn't even do anything wrong. They talked about the situation of rh and then get there badges removed?! It seems like Barbie is just trying to cover up what's going on in the game and the community, but it's not working. I mean if the game is already dying, why destroy it even more by disregarding the community? I just don't get it 😔
I lost my acount with all my Royal high progress and I just can’t bear to play the game, partially because all my old items are gone, but mainly because the game can be almost unplayable at times, and I can’t save up for anything because everything is diamond gated

You wanna know why they removed enchantix high? Because of copyright. Back when royale high was called Enchantix high school for fairies and mermaids, it was the first game on roblox based off a fairy show named winx club.
That's why, even if the new school is here, I play in the old campus and the arrow thingy ( dunno how it's called) back then when I played royale high, I was having so much fun, but now it's beautiful but boring...
And I wanted to add that even if there's powers, it's boring because we can't do anything with them, when I got my water powers I was so happy until I noticed that apart from the fact that you have them, there's not much to do..

I quit rh in 2023. Its crazy because I used to be so obsessed with this game. I would have think about it in school, played it for like 6-7 hours straight one day- (not everyday ofc) and i really enjoyed roleplaying. But its no fun anymore. Not now.

i had played royal high for 5 years and it absolutely tore me apart. it was so much fun in the beginning because it was one of the better games imo back then, but then it just turned into a money mess. i was so dependent on getting a halo or a corset because that’s what everyone wanted, THAT was the “cool”. after 5 years of doing the well i gave up, and realized how hopeless and stupid royal high is. the only joy i gained the last couple years of playing royale high was giving all my stuff away and seeing how happy the person was. royale high is a shot show, i don’t want it coming back anyway.

I really appreciate how you uploaded this video without it being a perfect masterpiece. It’s important to post things you don’t like 100%, but as long as you can be consistent, that is important.
The problem with the devs is they are spending more time on removing creators badges than actually making updates. They’ve let us know that they know what we’re saying by closing down the twitter account and opening a instagram account. I’ve never really cared much about the updates ( mostly because I took like a break from April 23 to august 23 when the school came out) but this is actually starting to annoy me.
I miss the old Royale High. When the chat would FLOOD from people doing roleplays, and the items were fairly priced.
Now no one chats in servers since its now all about who looks the prettiest, and it’s really hard for new players to get items since they’re so expensive.
Playing Fantasia for the first time got me that nostalgic feel of old Royale High, and boy, I miss it.

I definitely agree, this was really well thought out and explained what I felt! >_< Fresh and engaging RH content is hard to come up with. Most RHYT videos have been quite repetitive!

I would of played the new royal high update but before the came out i was hacked over the summer and i lost my account for about a week. I got it back and found out i lost everything so then i quitted. But now i just played it and i dont even know how to dress up anymore. Its really hard for me to go back to that game because i got hacked and lost every (1-2 times) and i spent a whole year working so hard on that game. My level is currently 2182. I really wish there was a way to get everything back. But atp ive lost all hope for that game and im quitting and finding a new game. So in all honesty, im really glad to see that only around 10k are playing it.
Imagine wasting 4 years on building a castle for a pixel game 💀

I'm an OG player from classic royale high and RH has grown so much. When I first started to play we didn't even have updates, and only few short skirts. But then suddenly they started making some changes to the classic school and added a longer skirt, then they added the bakery. Then one day they just releases a whole new school! I experienced many magical and exciting updates after that.
It was so much fun and the best game I played. The game became more popular and they were getting better and making things, so they started releasing seasonal updates. Then they released heels! And We would have updates for Easter/ holloween/Christmas/new years/st Patrick's day/valentines day etc. The amount of updates and ideas they had were just insane and I loved it!
But sadly the creator's are now out of ideas . You guys shouldn't send hate to the creator's. They worked really hard over the years. Please be kind. They did so much for us and it's not easy to make a game. We don't see the behind scenes and the thought process to just create one item. They must also be tired now of running a popular game for so long, it must've been so stressful! The creator's are not robots they are humans, they too need a break from time to time and make mistakes.
It's ok to give criticism but please try to be understanding and be kind.❤
Remember enchantix? Fantasia? The markets on Earth? Mardi Gras parades? Moonlight sqaure bustling? Tails? Chicken heels? April Fools? Halloween hunts and mazes? Christmas house? Santa Visits? Archery for fun? Divinia? Sunset Island for fun? Royale high for its gameplay? For its enjoyment? Not for its farming? I miss those days.

As someone who has been a part of the royale high community since 2017, I agree with everything in this video. The way things have been changing is kind of hard to explain.
Player retention has been excruciatingly low, which is killing royale high. The only things you can do are making outfits, decorating your dorm, trading/farming, leveling up, and not much more. I became a content creator on twitter and tiktok for royale high in 2022 and it hasn’t been easy. I feel like the only thing I can do is a mini movie which I have no motivation to do.
Additionally, as many players and creators have addressed concerns in the community, some have felt that they were speaking to the wall, since some of the things we voiced did not seem to be heard by the team at all.
As much as I hate to say this, my temptation to pack my bags grows day by day.
