      2) 99% of people curse to be accepted by their peers. They are a product of their culture.

      @@fabianbuentello5694 A small IQ in their vocabulary? Sounds like you may have skipped English class in school yourself. I fukkin curse the way my grandaddy taught my father. Goddamnest thing is we all have at least a masters. Grandpa was a Phd in English lit, Pops studied genetics, and I studied political anthropology How the hell did we do it if we were not intelligent. Shakespeare cursed all the time but he was an idiot I guess.

    There should be a shim in the kit it goes on the bottom of the race and those kaiser kits are a problem the spiral bushing spins in the spindel and opens the bore too big if not maintained anally. But you are doing an awesome job

    I'm 99.9% sure I've never torqued anything to 600ft-lb, at least not on purpose, maybe that one time I accidentally had the air gun on forward instead of reverse... anyway, that's good and snug.

      Matt, So back around 2009 Hendrickson was selling a heavy duty (30,000 lb) axle that used a completely synthetic,Semi liquid grease. There claim to fame was,, that was didn't need any maintenance till 500-K miles. And then you just checked for end play and add more grease if needed. Hendrickson told us that we would need a torque multiplier that reached to 1200 ft pounds.

    Fair enough, i'm a car tech and this is way bigger than anything I'm used to, but isn't that nut a castle nut? Doesn't it need a cotter pin to become a locked nut?

    • @AzzKicker-bz1cb
      @AzzKicker-bz1cb Před rokem

      @Chippy569
      It clearly looked like a castle nut, but maybe in that application, it is also a lock nut.

    • @capnskiddies
      @capnskiddies Před rokem

      600 lb ft of torque and you still want a cotter pin. It'd need to be a 4" nail to be of any use; it's going through a 2⅜" nut.

    I did a set of these the other day on my channel I don't mind em buti usually put the thinnest shim under race just to be safe now I have had to take one apart an remove the shim channel called Michael barnhart

  • @keithalexandrovich7473

    Dev, thanks for the video man! Must be an interference on the those steer knuckles? Not shims up top? Too much laterial play and knuckle goes in the dumpster? Or that's what the tapered pin is for 🤔

I have new calipers new lines and it's still pulls to the right It also has pretty bad inside tire wear on the front tires but the tire pressures are correct. Any ideas?

    • @ThroughStruggle25
      @ThroughStruggle25 Před 10 měsíci

      Had this same problem, fixed problem by putting OEM parts only. Also make sure you have the sleeve at bottom of king pin pushed all the way in. (Snap on make special tool)… lastly, crank that bottle Jack under pin down. Don’t remove it after 200 ftlbs. But absolutely don’t use aftermarket parts (INDIA)
