  • 3D visualizations of Digital Twins is not just a thing of science fiction movies or vision videos. It is very much about allowing rapid and intuitive access for humans to complex data coming from their environments, as well as interacting with their real environment from a safe digital replica of the said environment.
Learn how you can build such 3D scenes and link them with Digital Twins in a matter of minutes.

Thank you! Was able to develop now fully functional 3D scene of a wind farm using Azure Digital Twins. Really great enhancement of the ADT capabilities, thanks!

Very interesting presentation. A quick question, once the model is imported, if I want to make changes to the model already imported, is it possible to perform the action within the 3D scene at this moment? Meanwhile, can I add in more model files under one 3D scene, or it is limited to one model file per 3D scene?

Its interesting; will the 3d Scene studio accepts Leica's ".LGS" point cloud format?

Yes it is! All the components are available here for use: github.com/microsoft/iot-cardboard-js

Is it possible to synchronize the 3D model animations with the real events? I think that would increase value in the visualization. If I'm not wrong, in the case of windmills or the robotic arms demo, the animations are predefined.

Great question Eric! Today that's not possible, but that's certainly on our roadmap. Driving animations with data is a capability that would really change the game in 3D Scenes!

@@rileynisbet7965 It should be interesting also to add in the roadmap the possibility to add some physics to do more real simulations. Some competitors have it
