1. Facebook Marketplace, Amazon, eBay, Craig's List, etc., shouldn't allow postings, for new items, with tags, by random sellers. 2. Why do small businesses have ATM machines, are they compensated for having one? Doesn't seem to be worth the risk.
It depends on the supplier but yes you get compensated for having an ATM on your location. It uses your electricity so you are given either a monthly fee or a percentage of the service fee or both. All three of my stores have units, I've switched providers over the years to get the best deals. My high-use location gets a $200 flat fee a month plus $0.50 cents from the service fee they charge for each transaction. I will say the easier the ATM is to use the more customers it will attract. My one shop gets people coming just to use it all the time just because its so convenient. That location nets me about $2,000 on average monthly.

I was surprised to see an entire store devoted to it. No one around here plays it that I know of and I know most of the town. Most people here are big into golf or hunting. Not once have I heard of pickelball locally lol.

The first thing they need to do is stop putting ATMs, near the front door, thats where most of them are, 2nd this has been going on for years, no tracking, 3rd, not enough cameras near these businesses. Cameras, should be pointed at the front door, near the back facing the front door, outside facing the end of the driveway to capture license plates. No brainer.

Some due, but many don't replace the battery on them so as soon as its unplugged it will only track for a few minutes if that until the dead battery runs out of juice. The people who come to refill the money at my locations don't even know how to replace the battery. Had this discussion a few years ago after one was stolen in the local area.

Usually atm’s that ive serviced have their own wifi modules that have their own ups backups so if the power ever goes out or something happens to it then the bank gets a notification and an alarm goes off on the atm..

I lived in Southern California in the 90’s. There were two banks a block from me. I could hear the alarms 🚨 when they would get robbed. 90’s was the highest rates of bank robberies.
