Directed by Surender Reddy, this spy thriller flick stars Mammootty, Akhil Akkineni, and Sakshi Vaidya, dino morena in prominent roles. Akkineni will play the role of a spy, with his character inspired by Matt Damon's Jason Bourne character from the American film series of the same name, while Mammootty will play the role of a military officer.
Filming took place in Hyderabad, Budapest, Visakhapatnam and Manali.
The film's release has been deferred multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic and production delays. Agent is now scheduled for a theatrical release on 28 April 2023.
