That's like saying Tim Burton's Willy Wonka is better than the Glasgow version, that is to say while it's an accurate statement it's not much of a compliment since the latter is so insultingly bad.
People say the update is disappointing but minor things like these are really nice. I mean, I’m like the one person on planet earth who probably loved how RE4R added a costume to keep Leon’s jacket after the first Chapter. For something so minor but is pretty much a staple to the character, using it for the whole campaign makes the Remake worth it for me :)
Yeah I am glad u can change it now and the black tendrils do make sense with the anti venom suit more than the white tendrils do with the black venom suit since the anti venom suit does have a bit of black in the suit. The black one only has a white symbol and white things on the hands.

Disappointed ngl, I wish the surge post game didn’t automatically turn it into the anti venom suit. That’s what I was mostly excited for. Like I wanted the surge mode to be paired with the symbiote suit skins, not the story symbiote suit. Ball drop from them in my eyes tbh.
I have a theory that this could be canon And it is just anti-venom changing it’s colour to black thanks to peter’s will That’s why the powers affect other symbiotes Because it’s anti-venom but with different colour
This update was a massive dissappointment for me ngl. They said they'd add alot more features but all we got was NG+ and features like this that should've been in the game since launch (or added in any of the numerous updates after). Yes mission replay is fun but we still cant skip MJ segments which sucks when replaying the final mission and they didn't even add the option to change the weather in the time of day settings. This basically means nothing changed other than tendril colors (a very minor change that could've been added before) mission replay (still cant choose crimes like in miles morales) and NG+ itself, since we could already change the time of day with the mysteriums. Also, THE GAME IS STILL BUGGY AS HELL. I just got on after 2 months and the first crime I got to had a bunch of invisible enemies. Why is this still a thing? And when you parry with the normal suits, its still the symbiote animation, not the arms. Couple with the fact that this update was delayed 3 months (yes I know why it got delayed but still) and this update is a 0/10 for me. TLDR: Big wait, little changes even though they said there would be alot, and old problems still exist Edit: Oh and we didn't get aggressive peter voicelines

Also if you didnt know, you could already change the time of day before this update by exiting mysteriums. Essentially nothing changed in that department. 2. "Why would they remove MJ sections" for the sake of replayability, I dont wanna go through an MJ mission everytime I wanna fight venom. Go play the game for a while and you'll understand what I mean. Also I never said it had to be skipped, I said it should be an option
No for me when ever I used the story venom suit it went black for a second and then it had the black ones plus I prefer the white ones the6 do more damage to the simbiots
My only problem with it is that it does more damage to symbiotes and visibly burns them, the black symbiote shouldn't be doing that, takes me out hard.
@@Ryakkusu I just played the update and I set it to Black. He used the screams of the black suit, but after a while, with starting new game plus and going back to my original save, he now uses his lame Anti-Venom screams, even with the Tendril Colours set to Black.
it's nice that they added back tendrils, but the color should come from the suit itself, like the webs. it's rather a bit disappointing you have to go in the settings to change it

How do you change it? Theres no setting for it anywhere. Only unfortunate tbing is some of the cutscenes dont make sense now, like Peter rips off the symbiote and its the symbiote underneath. Or when he gets it from harry it turns into the suit you had on. My issue wasnt with the cutscenes, but the suit being locked to specific portions of the game, like actual gameplay wise. Put the symbiote on for the cutscene where he gets it, and then we can just change it after and wear our choice for the remainder of the cutscenes. Miles doesnt have this issue because theres no symbiote for him. It kinda takes you out of the cutscene and you cant really take pete ripping of the symbiote seriously when theres another symbiote suit underneath lol, make the cutscenes make sense, and were golden. Then all they gotta do is let us change miles lightning colour around, and make the tendrils match the alt colours but the latter isnt totally necessary.
They forgot to add Peter's aggressive voice acting, other than that we finally have what we wanted!

I think surge changes to whatever symbiote skin color you have on, but yeah tendril color applies to surge mode

You don't, when you select the black suit or antivenom suit it goes to a black screen before letting you play so that the game can change the setting
