I would not order this box. Home decor is so personal. The wood house necklace was truly uglyđ It would be waaay too tempting for my cats

if you're a semi-functional adult with a large social circle consisting of high level adults, who you don't know very well, but they keep inviting you to dinner parties or whatever, this box would be great for stockpiling perfectly safe, inoffensive, not 100% boring gifts.

As the items come in their own boxes, which is... score. So whats left is just to get some matte one colour tone wrapping paper and a sensible card with generic pleasantries. And we are done!

I think the reason that the one cardboard says "empty" is because everything came in cardboard boxes and they didn't want everyone calling to say they were "missing" something.

The tiny ladder is to hold the tea towels in the kitchen. You set the ladder against the wall with the towels hanging from it. The wooden beads you could put around the candles đŻ on the candle stands. Hope this helps....đ

The little ladder with S hooks would make a super cute mug holder for a coffee station! DoItOnADime did something similar using dollar tree stuff, that's where I got the idea from :)

You could also find some nice tea towels or mini quilts and use it that way. Maybe seasonally/holiday-appropriate.
Or stringing some burlap rope and hang Polaroid photos.
Yeah I thought that too, or you could hang little plants (you can get plant pots with hooks, I'm pretty sure), or have fresh herbs in them, in the kitchen đ
I don't think this box is worth $80! Unless these are handmade and supporting a small business. Especially since you got two tea towels as a set that they counted as separate items, a duplicate "set" candle holders, and wooden beads. It is a cute concept and some of the items are really cute, like the pumpkin, but not really anything useful.
I don't think the tea towels counted separately, but what's worse... that card with the spoopy stuff on it that was in the envelope with the item list...yeah...that is counted as a full size item as it's a "double sided print"! Seriously, you couldn't make that up.
ETA...Looking at it again, they either count the tea towels separately or the candle holders. đ€Š

I can see all pieces working together as a fall grouping especially on an entryway table or chest. The tea towels could go on the ladder. My favorite pieces are the pumpkin and mirror.

Yes they do, I was in mine today, and thought, Man Dollar Tree is really coming up. And there craft section is Awesome!! Luckily I have 4 within a few miles of my house!!đ€Ł
They do! I found adorable fox and owl fairy lights in mine. They were hidden behind some truly hideous purple Halloween eyeballs đ
Dollarama (in canada) has insanely nice stuff this year too. I've already spent way too much money on it haha, and they're not even close to having everything out
My dollar tree has these cool hexagonal picture frames too.
Ahh! Alexandria this is one of my favorite boxes! My favorite part of this box is that they build on each other and each season compliments the next. I totally get that its not for everyone, but it sure makes my decorating easier!
It's pretty tendy to put those tiny ladders on the kitchen counter, and display kitchen towels on them.

@@joanb. right! I just had to get rid of a Keurig because counter space is at a premium and I wanted an air fryer more. I donât have small appliance storage so I had to choose. Iâve stopped drinking coffee so the Keurig and itâs accessories are with my mama.
For the ladder add black Halloween lights and buy some mini witches at hobby lobby and hot glue them to it, you could also add a black cat on top or some bats
i love this subscription and have got it for about 2 years. they build off their boxes so the items tend to cordinate over time. Iâve seen people with all decor styles use the items in different ways. the decocrators facebook group has some great ideas. They have a market place too if you wanted to sell an individual item or buy an extra. I think its worth the money.

The boxes that say empty are for you to know not to throw away. They used to not and if it was a light item people threw it away. It makes it easy to know where your items are.

I love this! I suck at buying home decor. I could walk into a home goods with $80 in hand and walk out with $80 in hand because I can't for the life of me pick something on my own. Whereas going in blind, I have no choice đđ
I really enjoyed this box! I thought all the items were cute, even the beads which I thought looked great as a funky statement necklace. Would I pay $80 for it? No, but I'm so cheap I'd be taking all of the carboard boxes and taping them together to make a coffee table or something for my new house..kidding...sort of.
Have you googled cardboard art/furniture? It's actually pretty amazing! I was looking for a way to reuse all the cardboard boxes I got during lockdown lol!
The beads are often used on tier trays, book shelves, coffee tables, etc. The ladder is a hand towel rack for your counter top but using in your store as a display would be super cute. LOVE the pumpkin⊠I want it!
Alex, for the beads, take them and 1- spray paint them to be a different color (maybe a matte black, and sparkly overlay) and you can hang it in the background. Or 2- you can kinda tie it around a curtain or blanket to give it a bit of a design/body. It kinda of looks like the curtain tassel to pull the curtain back anyway
That's a good idea, but I feel like at this price if you have to do anything to the decor it's totally not worth it.
@@StephanieSmith-rh9yg I agree, but see, sheâs someone whoâs artsy so customizing the decor to match her aesthetic is something she already does. Plus, those beads I think are cute the way it is, but if I got them I might also change the color just to match something specific if I didnât have something to match those colors. I this this box is a good idea for someone who doesnât mind either just random cool looking things, or someone okay with painting it to match their aesthetic. And itâs nice that these items are easily customizable.

For the price I'm iffy on this box, I think a couple boxes would be needed to really assess. I do think if you wanted to go in on a box like this with a few friends where you could divvy up the contents among yourselves might be good. That's what I do for fabfitfun, since it's not always things I can or want to use.
The candle holder would look great with the copper candle behind you, set in front of the picture that is behind you just behind your green item. Mixed metals is an in thing

So......I totally see this as a fall entry way slash tiered tray (those beads) items. Hang the tea towels on the ladder and build all the items around. I think they would layer up nicely.

Those beads are often used in home decor photos. They often show them laying on trays or over top a few stacked books on a bookshelf or coffee table
Put the pumpkin on your background tableâŠ.itâs super cute. And yes I did see the tops of those candleholders a little crooked. The moon mirror is super cool and the little ladder Iâve seen before, you should find some ideas for that on Pinterest. Idk about those beads. They remind me of those teething pacifier things that my granddaughter hasâŠlol obviously not wood and not that big.
So I use to work for a company that sold stuff like the small ladder and beads, you can use the ladder to hang the tea towels on or use it for the beads to hand on. The same with the candle holder you can wrap the beads around the candle holder.
I'm not first but early (for me). Is that the cardigan from that box (name escapes me)? It suits you. Opening boxes is fun but not so much when you find something bizarre like wooden plant jewelry(?) or whatever that was. Completely agree on your price estimates and that taking the $80 and spending it at TJ's would be more rewarding. If you don't feel like sending stuff back, save for wedding or housewarming presents, if those are still a thing. Feel better. Go to bed đ.
Ideas...small battery operated light string for pumpkin...small pumpkins for candle holders...ladder could be used to hold hanging pictures or scarves or as a decorative hand or tea towel rack...beads, yeah I got nothing. Much love to you!

Fun mystery decor box. Really like the pumpkin and little ladder. The candle holders look kinda cheap. Tea towels are super cute! Not sure I'd like enough of the items to justify the cost.

I'd make a DIY photo holder with mini clips with the ladder! Look on Pinterest I've tried a few and they came out CUTE! Granted I have that cowboy/ southwest vibe in my dinning room so the ladders fit in rather smoothly

I feel like Iâm the only one who thinks this, but I think the price comparison for all of these items would actually be about 75-80 bucks at a place like home goods, IMO. I think these items are super cute. I do think id end up spray painting the gold part on those candle holders black because black and wood is so chic.
The mirror seems a little out of place, but suns and moons/astrology stuff is really in right now, so you could gift it to a teenage girl and I think theyâd love it.
All in all, Iâm a fan of this box! And I think home decor is super fun to unbox because itâs different and you get to be creative with where to put it.

Candle holders would look good on the table behind you. The little ladder is awesome. I have one in my kitchen to hang kitchen towels on. I hung it on the wall. The beads would look good on a fireplace mantle.
