How to mix super saw chords with vocal chop melodies ?
why not import into a sampler so you can have the option of playing in via midi?
In a song where you are sent vocals, is it unheard to import other vocal phrases or vocals in general to get a good vocal chop melody? I find that sometimes the vocals that we have as the original are sometimes, in a sense, limited in opportunities for good vocal chops.
Yea that’s perfectly fine. Just shoot for a good result. If it sounds good it’s good.

Do it matter if the bpm of the chop sample is the same as the project? I can see you chose a sample with a different bpm, did you change the tempo of the vocal?
It depends how you are using it. In this case it doesn't matter.

I've got 15+ years on pro tools but been on logic the last 3_4 years and logic is my choice these days. Of course I can get it done in just about any DAW, just don't care for tha ableton workspace haha
