Really appreciate more iems coming in this price range, hope we get more premium iems for the sub $50 price range.
I bought the jade version and I feel like this one is really good and very relaxed, I can have these IEMs all day and not get tired of them
Bought this yesterday and it sounds so amazing and warm. I love it for all kind of genres. Everything sounds perfect
Enjoying this on Tanchjim Tanya. Still one of the best low cost IEMs. Especially as it’s bullet style and can be worn cable over ear for deep fit. Also a smooth sound and can be turned up without fatigue.
Thanks for the review! My set did not include the cloth.
I'm getting this one to complete my budget collection for neutral tuned iem. Already have EDA Balance for U-shaped and MH755 for harman, i think I'm set for my under $100 collection.
I'm checking this one year later because an IEM dedicated store just opened in my country, and they carry this, looks amazing and from what I've read it has the sound to match, I really hope the standard for 50, 100, 200 spikes as hard as it did for 20 bucks
That's such a great photo of Crin
What a time to be alive, impressive FR for this price range.
I have the etymotic er3se and blon bl03...one for critical listening and the other for fun...don't think I will change to anything else anytime soon...they complement each other very well for varied listening experiences.
I bought my first Iem, which were moondrop quarks and didn't like its neutral soundstage gave it away to a friend and went with tangzu waner and oh my the difference and some self awareness that I like warmer sound signature more..
There is a new release from CCA to compete in 20$ price point - CCA CXS, 1 DD. I wonder how it stacks up with the IEMs in this video.?
I'm thinking of buying the Tanchjim Ola Bass edition since it has almost the same graph frequency with the Waner and according to your ranking the Ola Bass has 1 upped Waner on the details and stage presence.
And if Ola Bass can do what Waner can do with better staging and details then I'll pick Ola Bass any day of the week, what you guys think?
This IEMs are simply amazing, I am trully impressed! I am using them with the AZ09 og from kz, a very very good combo but I cant put them higher then 60% or so of the volume before the right side starts clipping 😢
Hi. I just got my Wan Er. It does have amazing tuning, exactly like you described. It sounds so natural and smooth. The treble is not piercing at all, but still reveals the details pretty well. The staging is intimate, yet feels open, oddly. The Wan Er is remarkably enjoyable to listen to, at any price. And, at $20, even better. What a cool surprise. That was an excellent recommendation. Thanks so much.
@@kimiko1302 The short answer is, yes! The London Symphony with Itzack Perlman, Diana Krall, Daniel Ceasar, Steely Dan, all sounded very good to me.
hey, what’s up? I was gonna get Galaxy Buds 2 but I had some more research and find about Wan’er’s. I am so new to IEMs so I was wondering should I get the Buds 2 or Wan’er? I just want the sound quality and they’re around same price in my country.
@yusufwelles Galaxy Buds 2 at the same price as Wan'er? Either the shop is selling Wan'er at a ridiculously high price or the Galaxy Buds are most likely counterfeit.
I'm so proud to have my name on the ending!
I want to support you as much as possible until the time when I get a collaboration iem bearing Timmy's name.
There are other great reviewers out there, but for me at least Timmy is the best reviewer!
Hi I really like your content. And I would be much more grateful if you can review best budget IEM with Mic. Really looking forward for it😊😊
Are you also gonna review SGOR Venus? It's really hyped up in my country. Some say that SGOR Venus has the tonality of IER Z1R and the best technicalities in $20 class
Has anyone noticed this? with the Waner, the nozzle comes out of the housing at a 90 degree angle, with no inclination for anatomy.
I think only in the case of cca cra it's a upgrade but in the zero and the chu not. I'm great surprised by the quality but it can't replace my chu and the zero but it's great iem specially for the wonderful design
which one of em has the best build quality or reliability? i really need a strong daily driver and keep seeing shit about chus awful reliability and qc
Hi, between monarch MK2 and divinity v16 which one performs better for fps games and story games? And why? 🙏 Thanks.
What tips are you guys running? I can't seem to get a good seal. Using the largest tips provided by Tangzu and cannot hear the bass. If I press the IEMs in a bit (or fold my ears forward), then the bass is lovely.
may i know if this is a good budget option for competitive gaming?
New competitor under 20 is already here, moondrop quarks dsp. This budget range is improving day by day. No one sits in the thrown for long 😆
What is the upgrade path for someone who loves these? Thank you!!
I'd add the old school KZ ZS5 to that hall of fame as well
hi gizaudio. i had a doubtwhether to. buy the waner as an upgrade tp my 7hz zero which i recently purchased
Anyone got a EQ preset for the Wan'er so far? Seems dope.
best one for listening to metal and rock genre?
Im using the ZVX and they sound pretty good.
Are any of these an upgrade if I have Tin T2?
Looking for something just for gaming mostly FPS and simracing.
I'll replace my Chu for the Wan'er. The detachable cabe is a plus. Just waiting for my order to arrive here in Brazil. Greetings.
Nice review on the wan nerrr....Was waiting to see another video on it..I ave a few budget iems, with my t3plus, at 80 bucks costing the most...They give ya some goodies too, with the tangzu wan ner, 2 sets of 3 eartips, decent cable, and its a 2pin, which i luv...I ave the whizzer bs1, cca/ cra/ tin 3 plus, just bought the revonext rx8s, tribrid for 15 bucks, 5 dollars for a driver, and 2 Baz, sounds good..Think im gonna purchase the tangzu wan ner..anyway!!! Thanx for ur review on the tangzu wan ner..peace
Mine is in the way, I really can’t wait!!! QKZ x HBB too
How do these compare to the AirPods Pro 2?
what would be the best for music like like your/his outro like j pop and ost lofi like aimer and lisa
Hi Timmy, now that I have the oh10, what other iem would make a good match with them?
Now that I have a fun iem (oh10) I want the other to be more sophisticated, more focused on vocals, and I'm between mangird tea 2, seeaudio bravery and maybe 7hz timeless.
the design alone is already tempting me severely even though i already have the 7hz zero and have zero problem with it.
Same here, bought my 1st iem today, the 7hz zero, waiting for them
Love the waner design too
@@estebanoddo u like the salnotes zero? thinking of buying it over the tangzu
What about the CVJ CSA IEM ? Even this falls under same price point ?
These are the new 20 dollar king. As soon as I popped them in they impressed me right out the box. I haven't even changed tips. It's just the best tuned by far up to 70 dollars. Hexa probably stops it there. I like it better than Aria though.
@@ivanbukac4618 oh yeah. They run like brand new still. I've used them plenty of times. They been in many situations too like the gym or my car. Very durable.
Is this one good for vocal songs?
QKZ x HBB needs to enter this fight 😎
how are they compared to kiwi ears cadenza?
How does this compare to the Truthear Zero? Recently had to cancel my order for the Zero because the merchant was not responding so Im hoping this is a sign to save a little more on buying a mid~low end IEM
i have both, i personally like the wan'er more d/t better midrange and vocals while keeping sufficient bass. The truthear has more bass but makes the vocal sound more distant and slightly muffled by the bass.
edit: if you like edm and dubstep/ headbangers, and need the bass, then truthear zero. if you like more vocal stuff, wan'er.
I don't have a Dac budget, I want to use directly with my mobile n laptop which salnotes zero are capable of....can this be used without DAC?
7hz zero and waner which is best neutral sound and best sound staging
Hey Timmy, will you review the Truthear Hexa? It seems really promising :)
@@f_society9151 This is open to discussion.
There are couple of options in sub 100$ category. Dunu titan S, Moondrop Aria, Tin t3 plus-t2 dlc are all worth their price and has a good detail retrieval.
Truthear hexa has a different tuning; unlike the others it's bass is more tuned down; it has bass but not as much as the other options. You would want to boost the 200hz band with this one.
But this is not a bad thing: it gives you a more natural presentation. It also has a better treble extension than the others.
For genres like pop, kpop, jpop, hiphop with occasional edm and the like. Which would you recommend between QKZ x HBB and this Wan'er?
For EDM, QKZ HBB, it bass will punch your ears to another dimention.
For JPOP and KPOP Tangzu Wan'er, since the vocal are more forward and sweet like a candy.
I own 3 of the IEMs stated here:
Salnotes Zero: Most balanced sounding, clearest detail, imaging and soundstage amongst the group (analytical and clean sounding) suitable for all genres of music, but bass could be easily drowned out in public noisy environments. So best used for indoor quiet environments. (bedroom, study table etc)
Tangzu Wan'er: Warmest sounding amongst the group, most gentle on the ears (least fatiguing) very good for female vocals, and male vocals to an extent, suitable for relaxing genres like jazz, acoustic, classical and even pop, especially K-pop Girl Groups, but less top end detail for heavier and busier music genres.
CCA CRA: Most fun sounding, tight and punchy bass, clean midrange, crisp and bright treble. very energetic. (more V sounding signature), most suitable for heavier music genres like rock, metal and electronic etc. Best suited for outdoor public use or even for workouts due to strong bass and treble, But vocals sound slightly farther away and its most fatiguing to listen to.
@@hexa7580 yes, among the three that I’ve mentioned, get the CCA CRA if you want dynamic sound, but if you want great soundstage to hear footsteps from any direction, get the Salnotes Zero
Do you think it's better than the kz zex's?
How does it compare to the KZ ZVX ?😶
bought it and i am mind blowned. I owned the blessing 2 dusk but still i am mind blowned by the wan'er. I cannot unhear the clarity it provides over dusk. Even thou it lacks the extra thumb from dusk, it provides better clarity and identify sounds that is not present in dusk. Still mindblown by the price.
What about KZ ZSN Pro X ?
Is 11.11 a good day for chifi sales?
Great comparison section, I'm surprised the Zero has already been dethroned regarding your personal pick for under $20!
Wtf I just bought salnotes zero because he said in another video is the best iem under 100 and even 150$. Im new to iem hmm
Hey Timmy, which one is the most tunable without strain? The one that can handle it, without getting blown-out from extra power?
It'not the IEM that will blown away, it's your ears with power. I've heard recently that if every increase in volume/power have increase in the bass and trebble(prolly air too). But if you ask me, you'll be safe in waner because of its smoothness.
Or you could pick up any of the 3, change tip that tames bass n trebble/eq highshelf and lows shelf to those freq.
Bro are these better than Blon 03? Or is the blon 03 better than this?
I'm just getting into this hobby and would love to get a $20 iem, i currently have a kz asx from a friend for free, it sounds dampened to me and isn't my thing
i love jazz and vocals
Hey guys on the comments, a question: I have small/sensitive "conchas" (the area outside the canal where the IEM's body sits after inserted), so I can't stand pokey things there. Which one of the these is the most comfortable/smallest? The Chu looks like it's probably the smallest one, but I would like to be able to customize the cable eventually.
Try the moondrop Lan. Or maybe try earbuds (not IEM) like Venture Electronics Earbuss
can u compare it to the quark dsp?
How does it compare against Blon 03?
Ordered Wan’er finally
I’ve got a pair ordered
Hey man i wonder if u goona do the review for EA500 simgot? =)
The best is kz edx pro or x .just 15 usd and the best budget iem
is this good enough for fps gaming?
Timmy, what's your take on these vs the Blon BL03? Awesome video BTW 🤩
The blond bl03 is very colored on the bass freq, the tuning doesn't achieve the same goal.
In my opinion Blon have slow bass and messy midrange and treble. Tone is okay and timbre is good.
Are there good for gaming or only Musik
Is Truthear Hexa will be the best upgrade from Tangzu Wan'er if ever?.
What's the name of that song at the end of ur video?
For mostly metal music, what would you choose between the Wan'er and the Zero?
I choose 7hz Zero. I wanna feel those cymbals sparkle a tad much alongwith the warm riffs.
How about compare to kzi dfi or moondrop chu II ?
How is the mic quality of Tangzu wan'er??
what mane is the song that you use on your outro?
What is the ending soundtrack?
New se is coming soon ...
As a driver quality. The zero is a great driver. Thicker tone and holding the volumes with a better resolution .
@Henry Dupuis the main thing is I listen music in high volumes. That means the upper mids between 2k and 6k and the treble up to 10k will raise like he'll. So I like that frequency low because of my volumes and type of music I listen . I use daps , never the phone. So for me the hola for 20 dollars is the best for my volumes and music. The lower the volume I play. The more I need an iem to encrease that frequency.
what's the name of the out row music?
don't buy moondrop chu!!
They are great in sound quality but VERY sensitive to moisture, and stop working at all or reduce volume just after a few days of usage !! there are lots of complaints about this.
I wish yt channels also mentioned about quality
I have them and had zero issue. What I would state as an issue is thst they are on a heavybside imo, tips although are considered to be one of the finest and cost 14 dollars separately dont fit me personally so well. And ofc a non detachable cable. Build quality of both iems and cable top notch for 20 dollars. Not only that but it feels on oar or better then some 60-150 ones from few years ago I have.
Hey! can we EQ 7hz to sound like the wan er and what is better in that case
Yume II review coming?
It's oner which if Korean is pronounced (oh-ner)
Which one would be better for gaming between the waner and 7hz zero? Talking strictly on positional audio/imaging?
(I have the chu and it keeps getting stuffed/muffed sound every fix works only for like 1h)
If you want the best cheap iem for gaming, between these two, 7hz Zero is better. But if you want one for gaming, listening to music and watching series, you have to see reviews of its features and compare them according to your preferences.
I have read that the 7hz zero are better in details, positioning and imaging than the Wan'er. So here is your answer.
I decided to buy the 7Hz Zero because of my preferences in sound, and the iems are very detailed for the price. The only thing it lacks (according to my preferences) is a little more mid-bass, because the bass is more focused on the sub-bass, but I guess that's why they are very detailed in all frequencies even in the bass. But it is a sacrifice to be able to have the resolution it has and the sound profile (main reason I bought them).
@@erisalaza Oh, thank you for your reply. I already ordered the 7hz Zero and it should arrive soon. And by the way, you have a cover of Ram by McCartney in your avatar. Do the headphones fit the Beatles music?
@@paxter2154 Yes, it suits The Beatles music.
In fact I used to listen to The Beatles on 10 dollar speakers, and on those speakers the 2009 remastered versions sounded better, and now with the 7Hz Zero I have been comparing the different versions of the songs (so far I have compared Revolver and Sgt. Peppers) and I've found that, based on my preferences, many remix versions sound better in the 7Hz Zero.
so for mobile gaming like CODM PUBGM
which one better?
moondrop chu or cca cra?
How to eq these ?
Hello from Brazil 😎 My girlfriend loves the song that plays in the ending of your videos lol Please tell us the name 👀 We really dig your channel man. Waiting a review of the new Trufhear Hexa. One trully exciting set for the price. Keep the good work bro😁
How's the microphone?
and now this Tangzu makes me trouble for planning to buy Qkz x Hbb. i already have CRA and 7hz Zero. until now im undecided which one is the best idea to buy, i love edm and synth genre.
save your money, don't buy for sidegrade, go for above $50. dunu titan s are pretty good pair
If you already have 2 budget IEMs, I would recommend saving up more for ~$100 IEMs with basshead-type tuning. I have the qkz hbb and the titan s. The bass quality of the qkz hbb is as the price suggests. The bass is a bit blurry and too slow for my liking but could be slightly improved with wide bore tips. Get better IEMs and avoid buying too many budget sets that would eventually collect dust in the drawer.
Edit: HBB has a $50 set coming up this November so you could wait for reviews on that. In the meantime, enjoy the 7hz zero.
get the hbb. its such a fun sounding iem that I enjoyed better than my expensive iems
How about compare to kz zas?
Do the technicalities of the Wan'er compete with something like the SSP?
Tried both. Wan'er just crushes SSP. The midbass on SSP just ruins alot of its capabilities
No, in technicalities the SSR/SSP is infinitely better. In tonality, Waner tends to be more pleasant for most people.
This is exciting! Finally I can afford good iems.
How's the fit of the Wan'er? I have the Chu and it's great. Small enough to disappear and not fatiguing.
Waiting for my 7Hz Zero to be delivered. How does Wan'er compare to these two?
Let’s go!
hey giz this is my 100th video at this point and I am tired, can you help me, I don't know what to choose between the hola, the waner the crinacle zero or moondrop zero or the hexa, help ToT
I'm having problems getting a comfortable fit with the Tangzu Wan'er. The inner part is simply too big for my ear canal and I've tried multiple tips. I simply can't recommend them for this reason. Sound wise, I prefer the CCA CRA for half the price.
I brought Tangzu wan er today. And I found out that left side has lower bass then the other side is it normal or is it a problem? And in the box manual it’s says channel difference 1dB(1kHz). So i wanna know is it normal?
how does it compare to the QKZ x HBB?
.....and TRN MT3?
This is one I didn't mention in the video as I think it stands on its own. The OKZ x HBB is very bassy and is a bass--lovers IEM. The resolution is not going to be on par with the Wan'er but it is much more fun tuning for the bass fans out there, and while at the same time keeping a relatively balanced upper mids and treble. Good $20 IEM overall. Very different than the other IEMs mentioned here.
@@Gizaudio That is good to hear, I just ordered both Salnote zero and HBB. I need to stop watching your and crin's channel, you two are driving me to bankruptcy, $20-50 at the time ;)
@@Gizaudio This, I'm looking for this answer too. I'm currently using KZ Eda Balance and I kinda feel balance isn't my taste. I like the smaller housing tho. I heard QKZ HBB is for basshead while maintaining other aspect, so I'm gonna give it a try.
@@910do How is the EDA balanced technicalities against these others?
