Everyone criticizing these performances doesn’t understand that this is all unrehearsed. They’re playing with people they normally don’t play with. It’s just off the cuff. They’re having fun. Lighten up and get a clue, people.

You're missing the point. If you're going to sing a classic song like "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" at least know what the lyrics are. Totally unprofessional. If he didn't know the lyrics then they should have chosen someone else who DOES know the lyrics to sing it. And, to answer the above question, I have been to lots of "live" concerts over the past several years. And the singers KNEW the lyrics.,
@1976GeorgeMa there were certainly no shortage of singers there that night. Maybe he got nervous or couldn't hear the monitors to know where they were at in the song? I really don't have an answer to the common complaint of this video.

I see Jay messing up the lyrics, but everyone here stating he is a bad singer because of that needs to know how hilarious that is. If you ever heard something from Rival Sons (his band) you gotta admit he‘s nothing less than one of the greatest rock singers out there today. Period.
He is great for Rival Sons.

While he doesn’t have the lyrics, he sang it better than anybody since Ozzy 50 years ago and let’s be honest, he hardly remembers the lyrics Geezer wrote too. Do you think anyone in Black Sabbath still has hearing lol this is the venue to hear sabbath tho geezer looking the Ox here tho also that’s way better tone than on his signature bass. Please remember this is a jam.

Horrible! Bar band singer at best. What pro forgets the lyrics? How could they not be in front of his face in today’s technology? Sad.
Would be good if someone put the lyrics in front of him, I agree. But bar band singer? Just have a listen to his solo stuff or Rival Sons. There was a reason that Rival Sons were hand picked by Ozzy to be their only support act on The End tour.
If it wasn't for teleprompters most singers would forget the lyrics ask Ozzy Osborne 😅
