English is my first language ,you don't realise stuff about language till you see a lesson about it ,interesting
Great
Could please you make a lesson about perfect infinitives
hi Greg, great lessons as always..
Can we include 'except for' in this topic? If so, pl specify the conditional(s) where it could be used.. Also, it would be great if you could give us the differences in the usage of 'except' and 'except for.'.. Thanks a lot!👍
Do you know Greg? Your video is just awesome!!
If it hadn't been for your videos, I wouldn't have known how to use the advanced version of the third conditional :D
If it hadn't been for your video on 12 impressive ways to use advanced conditionals in english I wouldn't have succeeded in IELTS exam.
Had I had an English teacher as you in the 80's, I would have been able to catch things faster :)
Thank you Greg....But for you, I wouldn't have heard of this use of ...but for!
Interesting video with advanced expressions, thanks. What I can't relate is why the main motive to use these expressions would be to sound impressive. I would rather like to know the subtle nuances these expressions add to the standard clause, e.g. more polite, more elegant etc.
U z best 🙏
thx I didn't know about "provided that; but for"
