- Hey guys! Parker York Smith here with how to make any t-shirt look better. I have 4 style hacks that help make t shirts look awesome. They'll fit differently, they'll look stylish, and they'll have you feeling like the sexy man that you are!!
Please remember not to jump into this too quickly! If you're going to alter your shirt, be sure to start with one that isn't extremely important to you in case you mess up. Cuffing the sleeves is easy on any shirt, but if you want to DIY your t shirt please be careful.
I've been doing these style tricks for years and have made so many shirts that look more stylish, more upscale, and really fashionable. I know these moves will work for you too.

How to make tees look better: be in good shape 😂
It doesn’t hurt but with oversized anybody can look good in one
Yeap, but while im workin out...
😂😂 true
Doesn't work evrytime
@@YuTuboTuTubas u still working out?
Step 1: Start working out. Get some muscle on your bones.
Step 2: Wear t-shirt
That helps but it’s more in-depth than that
I could never put my finger on why Brando’s tshirt looked so unique. Tried this on a standard Gap T and - BAM! It looks like a million bucks. Thanks!
Love it! Thanks so much
How do you feel about DIY-ing your t shirts?? Thanks for watching!! -Parker
I was planning to throwaway some, so I will practice on those!
Mid-30s female here. I tried it on a couple shirts in high school and liked it. They ended up being my favorite shirts! But somehow I fell out of doing it and forgot altogether about it. What I did was usually cut an asymmetric hem, and/or cut a bateau neckline into my t-shirt. (I would do a cruddy rolled hem, sewing it by hand, to it wouldn't get too stretched out.) I had fun making my t-shirts feel more feminine.
At first with the cutting of the collar I was like "I don't know..." but then when you threw the blazer on I went full Kool-Aid man like "OHHHH YEAAAAAH!👍 " Great video Parker! Thanks for the great ideas.
Hahah OHHH YEAAHHHHHH love it yesss for sure, it makes a subtle difference but a big one
Hi Parker. This is not what you would expect, but you are so helpful to me. I am an 85 year old straight woman, and your advise is so awesome. You help me look my very best and age apocopate. Keep up the good work.
Great video! One little tip: make sure the shirt is washed and pre-shrunk before doing these awesome modifications:)
Your tips are so awesome! Love your video! Thank you so much!
Great ideas! I love the cutting ones. Will def try these tmrw
Awesome!! Hope it turns out great
One of the best tips. Thanks Parker!!

So clever! Great vid! TY! ❤❤
Great Job! Really good information.
1950's vibe is so cool, haven't tried cutting up the sleeves but after this video gotta do it for sure
Right? I love that style too
Why doesnt my guy have a million subscribers man 🤦🏾♂️
One day!! Thanks for following along now
Great video Parker! Think I’m going to try rolling up my sleeves first and see how that goes.
Perfect! It’s an awesome style move. Hope you like it
Thanks for this bro!
Just found your channel. Totally dig this content. I've been doing the sleeve and collar cutting since I was young. I like having a wider opening for my neck on my shirts and hate when the sleeves are too long. I'd get positive and negative comments about it. Good comments like, "I like the vintage look." Bad Comments like, "you ruined a perfect shirt and now you look homeless." haha IDGAF tho. Recently upcycled some old band and graphic tees so now they're wearable again. I like the look and am glad to see someone else is out here supporting it. Subbed.
Love it! Such a solid move
Pure gold. Amazing sense of style man, I wonder if the world is even ready for that cut Tees-Casual trousers style..absolutely a fav. Plus the T-shirt sleeves tend to get longer each year (????????). Anyways great job!
Yesss! Agreed for sure. Thanks so much
This is really helpful. Thanks!
I’m glad thanks for watching Rex

Gran idea para ajustar camisetas largas para que tallen mejor. Pensaba que se podían deshacer si se cortaban con tijeras. 👍
Muchas gracias Ramón!!

These little things can make significant changes to your outfits that people might not realise
Yessss exactly!! I fully agree
Really love what you do with men's outfit.
I want to ask you, can the cropped be done on the shirt length ?? Without shewing it ?
Thanks! Not sure what you mean sry
I'm really sorry for my bad English ✌
What i mean is, can i cut the body length of the shirt like the way you do on the arm sleeve without sewing it ?
Ur video was amazing
Thanks for watching
What’s the brand of the white shirt you cut the hem on? Thank you
Uniqlo
The guy wearing a crop top picture got me rolling 😂😂

Where are your blue jeans from?
Sehr gut Channel. :’). From an Asian guy living in Deutschland.
Danke!! Appreciate you watching Jiahao
Do you have a tip on graphic tees, should we wear them with trousers or jeans?
Either way, love graphic tees causally or as a personality statement with some trousers
I have a whole video about graphic tees, check my Fashion playlist
Parker York Smith thnx so much!
Brando such a trendsetter. After he wore that white tee every men in hollywood like James Dean and Steve Mcqueen started wearing it
Yes he’s so good
where can you buy tshirts like that is there a name for such tshirts?
First again!😊
Nailing it!! Thanks so much buddy
Parker York Smith glad to support you.👍
How do you make the cut contain that little roll?
That will naturally happen after the cut and you wear it a couple of times
Super bro
I can’t tell if you mean super bro like good job or if you’re calling me a super bro. Either way thx for watching!
@@ParkerYorkSmith I mean both of you said brother keep rocking, you deserve what you want and we will support you brother
For anyone who is interested: There is a CZcams video that demonstrates how to cut and re sew a crew neck t shirt into a v neck t shirt.
Do the same rules apply to sweaters?
I would be careful cutting sweaters because they fray a lot more easily, you can try it but I think it might fall apart after a couple of wears
Cut ! Cut ! Cut !
The answer to every question is: Cut !!!
I’m trying to find how to make the collar curled like the all saints figure t shirt. Can anyone help me?
Plz do a video about tie dye T-shirt
I need to do more tie dye, great idea
@@ParkerYorkSmith Thank you bro
What Brad shirt is the pocket T you are wearing?
North & Acrux
@@ParkerYorkSmith I can’t find their website, could you post a link?
Hey, i tried to cut the shirts like you, but it doesnt seem as Good as How you did it. could you give me Some tips?
Would really appreciate your help Mate😀
All the tips I have are in the video. Might just need to practice a bit. Also works better with certain shirts over others.
@@ParkerYorkSmith okay appreciate the help thank u
1:12 its streetcar named desire btw💁♂️
Yes you’re correct, I just prefer OTW
Aren't threads flying everywhere after a wash? Don't they slowly unravel unless you fix the edges?
Not in my experience
@@ParkerYorkSmith interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if it was only women's shirts, somehow 🤣😐
I’m 6’6 :)
Congrats man great work
Parker York Smith and I’m skinny. No matter what I eat, I don’t gain weight. I need some tips :(
@@hussainamijee2859 eat more. Duh
I think you should rip the seam about a quarter of an inch
That could work
Does cutting the fabric work with microfiber tees to shorten them?
I can’t wear anything but microfiber because I sweat profusely and it’s all I can wear.
My other issue is how do I tighten my necklines on my shirts?
I bought some sport tek shirts years ago and the neckline was perfect.
I cannot for the life of me find these shirts with the tighter neckline that I
Love.
I’d like to Learn a very discreet hemming. Hack that will tighten the neckline without creating pleats or adding stretchy material.
I saw one where someone made two small folds in the rear of the neckline and sewed them which created a small pleat on the back of the neck which I could live with.
I’m a mechanic so All my shirts are black so nothing stands out.
The reason I like the tighter neckline is to cover up scarring I got from child abuse and I don’t like to talk about it so it’s better to keep it covered so nobody asks.
Haven’t tried it, might fray a bit
@@ParkerYorkSmith
Or I can just find some mock turtle neck shirts.
you remind me of homelander
When you are in good shape... 99% cosutumes will look good on you
Appreciate your thoughts
The collar looks bad but everything else is good.
Step 1: Be Ryan Reynolds.
Step 2: It doesn't matter
Haha yep. Easy as that
1: hate it
2: hate it
3: already do that
4: don't raise your arms ever
Are you a model?
I used to be. Now just do content creation
That thumbnail of the loose collar t's is giving me major ocd anxiety
Sry bout that
I would rather die than have sleeves all messed up and not close to my arm like that mess
Hahaha that’s sad tbh, hope life gets better
How to make a t-shirt look better:
Wear less t-shirt
😂
how to make nay tshirt look better :
CUT THEM !! CUT THEM ALL OFFF !
weird hair.
I agree, it looks animated
homeless guy: i've been wear same fashion outfit for too long and no body seem to care, now all of a sudden some stupid brand came up with ripped pants, ripped shirts and cutting shirt by themselves gets recognized, WOW!!
How to ruin your wardrobe.
Haha I even said don’t do it to all of your shirts
@@ParkerYorkSmith yeah man 🥲 but its fine.. I got it after first trial.. so quite worthy❤😌 nice video
Why are You wearing an apple watch and talking about style? Unless You are a child or have a heart condition, Apple watches are functional only. May I suggest a classy Time Piece. Wear the Iwatch on Your ankle or not at all. Three cents.
