I actually lived in Iceland for a little over a year, many years ago. I started following you after you made your journey there. Will have to go back and check out those videos. The geyser named Geysir you visited is where the term geyser originated and now the name for such things is geyser. Iceland seems to have really embraced the tourist economy, good for them.

The lagoon is amazing and I do have that somewhere on my top 10 list to take the kids (21 and 16 lol)…when you guys started sampling the world famous hotdogs I was so happy because I’ve got a dog ready to go for my dinner, just gotta chop my onions 😆😆.
Find a place e that shows how to do glass blowing..that is definitely a gifted art.

I've always wanted to go to Iceland but if you want proper fish and chips there is only one place to go and thats the UK. Id like to tour by motorbike, perhaps one day i could be brave enough like you. What a great way to live, keep on going. I went to Iceland in October 2022. It was awe inspiring. Exquisitely beautiful. I could not pick one favorite place. They were all my favorite. We go to see the northern lights-not what i expected but exciting. Packed a lot in 8 days. I can wait to go back. I Hope you enjoyed!

What a great video! I'm thinking about us doing a campervan trip around Iceland for my 46th birthday but have been so nervous because every other video out there features a much younger person behind the camera and I've been wondering if we're too old to enjoy ourselves, but the way you've presented this trip makes me feel like it's infinitely doable. I love camping, but have gotten to the age where sleeping on mats in a tent is no longer quite as appealing as it once was. This campervan looks like exactly what I'd enjoy.

They have some of the freshest ingredients. Everything food wise was absolutely delish. Although I would have ZERO interest in trying the fermented Shark. That's a delicacy in Iceland.
