Affordable....euro serie cost today 2900 €....few years ago it will cost around 2000€ or less, an euro rebop ( bolt on) around 1400€....the prices of the musical instruments are just crazy today...
Affordable compared to their U.S. custom shop basses. Still, the Euros (just like the US basses) are worth every penny and there's always the more affordable Legend, Ethos, Pulse, and Dimension lines.
@@lf170They are not worth every penny at all, they are extremely overpriced. You can get a custom from many great European and US luthiers for the money it takes to get an Euro Spector, and they will be a lot better in every single way.
@@AlexandarShmexI've owned several and they've been well made and feel better than Fender, Yamaha, or Ibanez' most expensive production basses. They're not for everyone, sure. The smaller body is an issue for some. And others don't like the EMG sound which is understandable. But they don't skimp on craftsmanship. As for CUSTOM builders in that price range, you're obviously talking about much smaller, lesser well known ones because you're not going to find a custom shop Fodera, Alembic, Warwick, or Fender bass for $3000. The Euro prices are still less than German Warwick and Sadowsky Metroline and around the same price as US Lakland, Ernie Ball Music Man and others. So, not overpriced. Or you can just say ALL basses are overpriced, these days.
Warwick pickups/electronics are really mediocre-a terrible sin for such amazing instruments. I have two corvettes from the 90s made in Germany, a 4 JJ and a 5 MM. Dropped Delano's in each and it's crazy the difference. Really the best all around Basses I've ever played after the change. It's a shame they don't sound better from the factory, as the craftsmanship and feel and looks are all really top notch
I've owned several Spector basses and I seem to always have problems with the necks and the truss rods. I sent one to Spector and it still had problems when it came back. I like the basses but not the neck problems.
Spector has many levels of basses. Some made in USA, some in Europe, some Korea, Indonesia. Where did the problem ones come from? I have a 20+ year old euro and the neck is perfect along with the rest of it.
Hi Grregor, love the channel, I got one question: Does the single coil buzz when you Jaco it? I love EMG pickups because they are dead silent, but have they addressed the single coil buzz (like Aguilar HC pickups for example) . Thank you!
The Orange Butler? Yeah! that‘s it. And of cause Lars killing it again! I think you must produce an album a cd a record, i guess you know what i mean, with Lars, Frank and the bearded Bass Boy…. And if you are looking for a new bass guy… not me … but Klaus Fischer, that would be awesome too. Go on, i love your channel.
More affordable? It's 3,000€ in Germany!
What’s wrong with a gig bag? The perceived security of a hard case (which is complete bs) is outweighed by being large, heavy, and cumbersome. Gig bags are much more manageable and arguably more convenient.
Lars does some of the best demos out there! Range, variety of touch/technique, and actually uses the low B where appropriate.
Wow, thank you so much - much appreciated! :-) Atb, Lars
Not many basses in the world sound as good as a classic Spector :)
Nothing left to say!
Metallica's Enter Sandman's bass track was recorded with an older Spector NS-2.
Thunderous sound.

Is it just me or is the tone just really really good 🤔
Tone is great, and Lars is a beast.
That’s the magic of EMG pickups, amongst some other things.
Bro , that emg pickups are insane... they more more expensive than my Bass
@@basstheworldofficial ITS SUPER BASS GUITAR YEAH!!!!!!!
I'm one that prefers solid and metallic finishes. Really makes the curves stand out. I've never been attracted to the fancy figured maple.
The gold 4 string is my favorite. Also I like the Euro version more than the US as well and I am American😂
My favorite Spector Euro is the one I already own, a lovely 6LX 6-string with the black cherry finish
That Gold Metallic is sweet.
Every time I look at a Warwick I want one, but every time I hear a Spector I want one more.

The gold one is amazing
AWESOME VIDEO!!!! My favorite is the gold 5 string!!!!
I really wish they'd do a JJ version of the 4 string instead of just the 5
Check out my guy with the glasses playing a church praise break bassline!!!! Go ahead play man....love it.
WOW NICE GREGOR SEND ME THAT GOLD ONE TO TEXAS
The blue 5 reminds me of Gary Willis’ Ibanez SR 885 prototype. First Spector I would
Buy.
Would love to see the classic put up against the LX to hear the difference in preamp.
„More affordable“ 🥵 still thousands
They make basses in all price ranges nowadays and they’re all really good.
Thanks
Is there any neck dive? Hows the balance of them. I am really thinking about them
Gotta love p/j spectors

I play Spector Legend Bubinga for 15 years. No basses like Spector ❤️

Hello Gregor,
Could you tell me what pedal(s) you used to get those humongous metal tones ?
Thanks !
That’s the Orange Bass Butler. My favorite Pedal for high gain sounds

PLEASE HOW CAN I SETUP AMPL TO SLAP MODE
Can you do something wrong with playing a spector? 🙃
I don't know what lead me to believe these cool basses were affordable 😐
4:08 wich darkglass pedal did you used???
none - I prefer the Orange Bass Butler for high gain sounds

Beautiful basses but those are the cheapest looking tone/volume nobs ever.
They feel great
Spector's 5 string headstock is the ugliest in the business. But still very nice looking and sound great.
This video gave me motion sickness =\
$3k and all you get is a gig bag???
Would you rather pay 3100 to have a case included?
I'd rather pay $2,900 for the gig bag option.@@basstheworldofficial
