    Your TPF2 and CZcams skills are coming along nicely!!! Well done mate! This series could be fun and demonstrates that the game can be MUCH more than just random town & industry placement with a limited starting balance :) Cheers!

      Thanks for the support! I am very excited to see what can be done in this game. It might not be perfect but that’s part of learning!

    Looking forward for how this develops...
    Just one thing, please, move and/or add stops to delivery routes, to adjust to the sizes of growing cities.

    • @ultimatearchitect
      @ultimatearchitect  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Of course! One of the hopes with having fewer cities in this playthrough is that keeping up and adjusting with city growth will be much easier.

    I think i have a good county name you should call it rushcliffe county because it has a lot of mountains and cliffs

    love the map and thought process and city count (although maybe I'd put just a few more). I really want to get into the extended industry mods, but there are too many and all have problems... not to mention maybe go a little too far.

    • @ultimatearchitect
      @ultimatearchitect  Před 11 dny

      Thanks! Extended industries does open up the options a ton and can be overwhelming. I personally did not go too crazy with industry changing mods because I feel that there would be too many industries for the amount of cities we have. Also I do have plans to make smaller towns or villages in the future that I am excited to get to.

    I like the idea of grouping industries, I have been doing the same in my games recently and so far I find the appearance more satisfying.
    It will be interesting to see your approach.

    • @ultimatearchitect
      @ultimatearchitect  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I figured since it would take 12-16 of each simple industry to supply the entire map, it would make sense to group them into 2-4 clusters across the map so the scale can be much more realistic

    • @bobthebomb1596
      @bobthebomb1596 Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@ultimatearchitect I agree. I have never really liked the "bitty" appearance of industries spread across maps. Resources tend to be localized by geography/geology.
      It should allow you to create some impressive industrial zones.
      Do you intend to delete unused industries?

    • @ultimatearchitect
      @ultimatearchitect  Před 2 měsíci

      I think I will after a while when I have enough money to consistently place industries. I have the random industries on the map now so it could provide unique challenges to build up those industries in certain areas if I can't think of a good place for them.

    I have not played this game since it came out. I was kinda miffed that each city requires certain goods, instead of all the goods, as in Transport Fever 1. Do you think this was an improvement over the first game or indifferent?

    • @ultimatearchitect
      @ultimatearchitect  Před 2 měsíci +2

      Over time, as the cities grow they will slowly demand more resources until all 6 but you can also change that in the settings to only allow 2 or 4 resources per city. I personally like the customization the game allows when it comes with this setting because it allows different cities to have different “feels” and it helps to add more personality to the map

    • @redletter45
      @redletter45 Před 25 dny

      Old comment but you can also choose which cities get what goods if you want.

    I hope you have enabled for old vehicle models to disappear once they are out of production. 🙂

    • @ultimatearchitect
      @ultimatearchitect  Před 2 měsíci +2

      I understand why I should enable that but I feel that it could take away opportunities in detailing or if we ever wanted to create some kind of "historic" line on the map

      It does look a bit odd right now but I did flatten the terrain intentionally around that city since I am planning on it being the largest city. Hopefully it won't look too out of place for long
