A few years ago my sister's boyfriend gave me his music book for piano in there was this beautiful piece. I practiced it until one day I learned it well enough I could have almost played it with my eyes closed. I was excited to show him what I learned, it was on a Christmas my family and I found out the night before my sister (which at the time was pregnant) and her boyfriend had been in a serious car accident. My sister was seriously hurt but she was alive. Unfortunately her boyfriend passed away that Christmas morning. I did not cry that day because I was trying to be the strong shoulder my family could lean on. I never got to show him this piece so every time I play this I always think of him and those tears I held back with all my might are always present on the corner of my eyes anxiously waiting the moment they can finally roll down my cheek and onto the keys. He was a good man to my sister very caring and loving to her and for that I thank him. When my nephew (his son) is old enough I will teach him how to play this beautiful song.
