- In this video I'll show you how to make this Faux Leather Personalized Initial Bookmarks using faux leather, heat transfer vinyl, and a Cricut. This is a great Cricut Christmas craft perfect for Cricut beginners. I'll show you how to cut faux leather with your Cricut cutting machine and then how to apply layers of heat transfer vinyl to faux leather to create these customized gifts for the book lovers in your life.

Amy, can I glue cardstock to the back instead? I tend to doodle and take notes on my bookmarks so I thought cardstock would be better for me.

Yes, I do when I make bookmarks to gift to friends. I may not have put backs on all three of the bookmarks in the video in the interest of time. :)

Where do you get your faux leather. I am having trouble finding ant other than Dollar Tree. Love your videos. I have just found your channel;
I bought mine at a fabric store. Nice fluffy backing so no vinyl needed on the back.
