Welcome to a new series on my channel called "Full face of...", where I'm showcasing a full face with a certain brand. The first video in this series will be focused on the chinese makeup brand Florasis Makeup. Florasis makeup focus on showcasing the chinese ancient aestetics combined with traditional beauty rituals. Is Florasis Makeup the most gorgeous brand out there? And more importantly, do they live up to the hype? Watch my video to find out my thoughts about the brand. It was great! I've been so curious about florasis for so so long now but as you said, it's so hard to find content that isn't sponsored or the products weren't gifted. Not that I don't trust a sponsored post or pr,but sometimes it's nice to see content that isn't! Now, if they release a cool toned neutrals palette... I may be in trouble! 😅🩶@@sminkberoende

Hello Tabarak and welcome to my channel 🥰 I think it all goes down to preference, because I'm someone who loves bold makeup so the eyeshadow (or this palette at least) was a little bit weak for my preference. But it definitely works well and especially if you gravitate towards softer looks. This was the most thorough, detailed and honest first impression ever you went into so much detail on a brand that I’ve always admired for their packaging, everything I found quite impressive I’m surprised that the foundation was so warm toned though because usually it’s more cool toned with Asian brands but the finish looked beautiful. The eyeshadow was a little bit all style and no substance for me but you know I love my all out pigments so that’s just personal preference of course. Fab vid hun and beautiful look 🥰

My god you’re such a goddess! Such a beautiful look ❤ I’m so excited to hear to thoughts! This brand looks so intriguing but I have a feeling I wouldn’t like a lot of the products. Also, couldn’t agree more. I have a huge collection too, I love makeup with a passion and finding unique, stand out, beautiful products just makes me happy. That’s why indie brands stole my heart and I’m never going back, especially when it comes to shadows! Anyways you’re fucking gorgeous and I loved seeing you apply your makeup ❤❤❤ I need to try applying my spf with a brush like that! I hate the feeling of it on my hands, why have I never tried that 😂 you’re just a damn genius Nathalie. Wow the foundation bottle was stunning and the powder looked nice too. Also love a radiant finish! And omg I still contour my nose, I use amber from Fenty but I’m never gonna stop lol I contour my cheekbones and jawline too. The contour looked so gorgeous and natural but still defined on you! So flattering. Damn now I think I want to try a couple things from this brand (eventually) hehe. I totally agree with you regarding the indie brands, a lot of them offers something that we never would see from the mainstream brands. And thank you so much for ❤ The reason why I apply primer or spf with a brush is because I don't want to run and wash my fingers all the time, haha! The contouring makes such a difference in my opinion, I just love it! Thank you so much for watching ❤
I’m curious about your other “collectible” makeup, can we have a show and tell at some point?
I recently got some of the Florasis pallets after lusting after them for a long while. I haven’t built up the courage to try them yet though, just because they’re too beautiful to mess up just yet.
Catkin (also a Chinese brand I believe) lipstick also has the beautiful embossed effect. I wish more commonly known brands would follow suit. We need more
It's so funny that you mention that because I have actually been thinking of doing that kind of video! I have to admit that I try to not have the collectible mindset though, because I know that makeup doesn't last forever. But from time to time I treat myself, haha ❤ I totally understand that you haven't tried them yet! I messed up the eyeshadow palette when I swatched it. If you just use the eyeshadows with brushes I think it will be fine. I have actually been wanting to try Catkin, but I haven't yet! I will tell you a little secret - in the very near future, there will be a US brand that will release some really cute products with embossings... Thank you so much for watching! ❤

Overall, the quality looks very good. I love their peach setting powder. Mine is in a different component so it may be a different one. The only comment I had is that the foundation and concealer looked yellow for you. I know it was a neutral shade, but something is off. The finish and coverage is beautiful, but not the color.
The powder that I have is a travel size, so the full size component looks a bit different. I agree regarding the undertone of the foundation, that's why I mentioned that I normally use a blue colour corrector with my base products. I didn't want to do that in this video because I wanted to show how it looked like on it's own. I'm pretty sure that my concealer made it look more yellow though. I don't think it looks too horrible but I will definitely use the blue colour corrector next time I use these products. Thank you so much for watching!
hi❤️ I watched your entire video I loved your explanations this brand makes me dream of the primer and the foundation gives a nice glow I liked the powder which also gives this glow I love the blush is a marvel on as you work with it and the little blue puff is so cute the palette is magnificent I was also impressed with the pigmentation can't wait to hear back after a while of use 💖

@@liliba.beauty I don't do this often, but when the shimmers is not impactful enough, you can spray the brushes to get more pigmentation from the shimmers

@@sminkberoende foundation mainly, eyeshadow palette but from the nomadic collection and lipstick. I've read somewhere that the 2 bigger shades in the nomadic pallette can be used for face as well. ✨
I hope that you will be able to find a nice foundation shade because I think the shade range is a bit limited if I don't remember wrong. The Nomadic collection is stunning. That packaging is so gorgeous too! It's great that you can use it for the face aswell, love me some Multi use products 😍💜
@@sminkberoende I hope so too. Being very pale I like to look more alive. Also love how your skin looked after. That healthy smooth glow. Hope their formula is good too. Only other asian foundation I've tried was from zeesea (this was before their scam subscription box scandal) and despite looking good on me and having a light formula it made me break out bad. Especially if I used skincare on my face beforehand. If I applied it after toner without moisturizer was ok. So yeah here's hoping 😂

I have tried the Florasis a couple of times now and I haven't gotten any reacions, so fingers crossed that you won't get any either. 🥰

Well, maybe not always - but pretty often! I really dislike to run and wash the hands all the time when doing my makeup.
And the nail colour is H&M "Olive Twist", pretty sure it's limited edition so I will be sad when I run out of it! ♥
I have zero interest in this brand. Perhaps it is supposed to be softer shadows for more of the Asian esthetic, but explain Haggard and Shellwe? Love the lipstick. Never contoured my nose before now I want to try.
Oh yes, the soft aestetics is not for everyone. ❤ I appreciate that you still watched the video despite that this brand is not for you! Like you said, there is several asian brands that offers more pigmented eyeshadows. I wish I could have reformulated myself in the video and said something like "it's more common with the soft chic aestetics in Asia". Because I'm pretty sure that brands like Haggard and Shellwe are targeted to the western world but that maybe the younger generations in Asia also like it. It's a bit hard to explain, but if you ever have come across a shop that sells korean eyeshadows, you will understand what I mean - their eyeshadows are very pale and lacks pigment.
