The film which is in the vein of a road movie is not on YT but you can buy the DVD: it's really worth it. Jordaan's version is more of an upbeat pop song, it has certainly more appeal in the mass market. But Vlok Nel's original is far more introspective, melancholic and forlorn and therefore conveys the sadness and lonesomeness of the lyrics.
