Always Tip, Nick was cool as hell and suspr knowledgeable..
❤️
Ryan you are the kindest youtuber i have watched I just want you to know you make everyone's day!
Telling the Captain to keep the Money is what did it for me… I would have done the same. Not too many people like us anymore. Keep it up. I’m tuning in from Germany to watch your Journey. Grew up in Fort Myers Florida and have lives all around the USA and now the World… Maybe one day I’ll start my own Channel. God Bless🤝
Hello fellow Florida native! He did good on that.
@@amischair1906 x2
go for it man ill be there when you uplaod
It showed Ryan character to me now I'm hooked to his channel even more
Oh no there’s many
you tipping the guide means alot , its a very hard job to work day in and day out in tough conditions. im sure that really made his day
Dude, that fishing expedition looked so fun, your guide was dope. Glad you finally got to do this. The crowds of birds waiting for fish scrap is so funny they're just vibin
Glad to see you got the freezer defrosted lol. If you wipe it out frequently to prevent moisture buildup you should be able to keep it from getting that way again.. Humidity from keeping it open too long can cause it to buildup faster.
That's why the ones that have it's own freezer up top are way better, I think you can get them in the same size as his too
I’m a manager at the Publix you stopped at, that’s awesome! Wish I would have known!!
Bro a hunt and cook would go crazy, I’m not even a huge hunting fan. But this was a bad ass episode man and it’s like a whole genre of people you can reach! Don’t forget the tags in the description to help you reach more!
what he said
He's gonna need a bigger freezer!
@@kylemay6043 haha no doubt no doubt 😂😂😂
Jesus
Dude was super nice and humble. Good video
What a fantastic fishing guide to take you to multiple spots, help clean the fish and appear on camera the entire time. Good job on the tip and it's a great idea to help promote tours and local guides in areas since they were all hit hard the last couple of years. Will you plan to do a fishing tour in Alaska too? The salmon tours up there can be pricey but super fun.
Congratulations on catching some fish. It looks like fun. Nice of you to pay the guy the full rate even though he offered to discount you. Most would have taken him up on his generosity.
Just know bro your channel really helps when Im having some down days. Your adventures are an escape for me and have been influenced to travel the world and get my own van! Keep up the great work bro i look forward to seeing you grow and prosper and just know you make peoples days way better with your videos THANK YOU
kevin, love you man, keep grinding and putting one foot forward bud!
That's awesome that you paid him full price for his time.
You're definitely an influence for me! i just started a month ago. I love how every episode is FRESH wheter it's extravegant or laid back.
To the fishing boat dude... thanks for showing us around the fishing spots!👑✨👍Ryan... good day for fishing! Mission Fishy-Fishy... ACHIEVED!👑✨👍
Another tip for catching Red Fish as soon as you feel a nibble on the line do not immediately pull back on the pole....wait. If the Red Fish does not feel any resistance he will stop nibbling at it and bite the bait then pull back to hook him. There is also a special way to setup the hook/leader and bullet sinker. I will try to describe how it is built. First a hook, then attach a 1 foot steel leader line with a swivel on the opposite end from the hook. Slide a bullet sinker on the fishing line and attach the line to the other end of the swivel. The objective is to take the hook start inserting the hook on the underside by the tail and route it through the dead shrimp so it comes out on the underside near the head. When you cast the shrimp the sinker will hold the line/leader on the bottom. When the Red Fish finds the dead shrimp he will nibble at it if he feels any weight or drag he will not bite it. That is why you use the bullet sinker the line will slide through it and the Red will feel no drag and bite the shrimp....then pull back on the pole. Hope this helps for next time and for those reading this comment. Fred in Texas (originally from Florida).
I think it was a good thing that you went on this fishing trip solo. You had your own personal coach. Your charter guy was nice.
Congrats
Ur literally a main part of my day now
Am in love with your content ❤😂
That charter captain was great! He had you on them, just bad luck but that's how it goes with fishing. Those fish looked so good. Once you get to Alaska, you should do a charter to catch salmon. And btw, Shreveport has a ton of stuff to do in Louisiana, the Bass Pro Shop there is really neat.
Bro I saw your first video 2 month ago or something like that and now you're the most enjoyable person to watch.
Thanks for all the videos
This was dope to watch. Nick was great and so were the birds. Congrats on your success!
I'm currently van-lifing in Tampa! This time of year Tampa is such great weather! A catch and cook is also on my bucket list one of these days!
Appreciate you closing the door with the music. Really enjoying your vids man. Can't wait for the next one!
omg yay. i look foward to watching your videos after a long day at college
Keep all of these videos going, love it all, catch and cooks, urban camping stuff, great content
Bro you keep this up and you’re gonna blow up. Can’t wait to look back at vids like this when you’ve got 1 million subs
Gasparilla!! Such a blast. Glad you enjoyed! Congrats on the catch!
Nothing is better than, eating fresh fish on the beach at sunset 🐠 ⛱️.... especially with that tequila in your refrigerator. Cheers 🍻
Really enjoyed the hand reeling clips, almost can bring us with you. I could of sat and watched that longer for sure. Awesome fishing by the way, great guide knew exactly how to get those fish. Stay safe and glad to see your videos.
Keep Up the great work Ryan! Love watching your content and goofiness!
Watching fishing through a video is always relaxing, but doing the fishing causes me to be very impatient. ANOTHER GREAT VID!
Great vlog Ryan! Seemed like a cool captain and glad you finally caught something to cook.Enjoy!
Awesome video and Nick was cool to get you hooked up! 🎣
Enjoying your videos man! Safe travels and keep the footage coming
Gasparilla! Where the pirates take over the city! Been a custom in Tampa, FL since 1911. It is a parade and a great time. I recommend it to anyone who visits FL. Nothing like it.
Loving the videos! Hope your trip is going well so far
Got to love Florida fishing.
Great catch! I thought I saw you here in Northern Va the other day. I’m from MD as well but moved to VA.
I’m definitely considering getting a van and building out this summer. I don’t think I want to do it full time, but definitely part time for sure.
You are such an inspiration! Thanks for posting your vids. Stay safe always.
Congrats to your first catch and cook!!!So fun to watch!!!!
omg yayyyyy the freezer 😂 and yayyyyy catch and cook 😊😊😊😊 loving the content this new year so far !
Love the videos, watch them as soon as I can! I genuinely think a collab between you and @Mav would be amazing! Especially fishing or something!
Man I just came across your channel. I live in Tampa and would have given you recommendations. Causeway gets rowdy especially on weekends and during gaspy. Surprised there wasn’t more music blasting lol
Great job on this video , I really enjoyed every second of it. Stay safe and enjoy your trip.
Congrats on the successful outing. Glad you were able to finally land some fish!
Good content bro. Been following you for a lil bit on here watching your videos and honestly its great for sure to see the daily van life. Been wanting to do it but the problem is that here in the caribbean they dont know much about it, water stations etc arent common here to get water for your van. So it sucks that i cant do it where i live but its nice to watch videos about it.
Congrats on the first catch and cook! Yay!
having periodic fishing/hunting sessions all the way up to alaska is a vibe we need. W
Congratulation on your fishing catches! It was very smart of the boat guy to put his phone number on the boat. His business will definitely blow up after people see this! 😎
I’m from Caribbean spending my childhood fishing so it was very nice to see this ❤
that guy was super chill😎 great company, great vibes, and great dinner !!! 😁
Been binge watching your channel for about an hour lol @ 1.25x speed. Super cool insight into another lifestyle. Cool to watch!
Recently started watching your vids and I find them very entertaining..
Good content.
Great catch today Ryan. Having a guied makes a big difference in the outcome.
Awesome content! Enjoyed watching you fish, continue doing this!
congrats after months and weeks traying to catch a fish glad finally able to do it !
Great content... you really know how to engage with us. Waiting on your next one.
Great video! I'm a guide out of St Pete and this was fun to watch... the sheepshead was the best eating fish out of the lot! Some good mangrove snapper in the bay area and other species too... come back down in a different season and the possibilities are wide open! 🤙🦀🌴
I'm native Floridian. Fortunately my home town city has a ton of lakes and creeks, public parks.
Lol! I can supplement my diet easily by fishing. Fish tacos!🌮 catfish stew!
I’m a new subscriber I love the channel you’re literally living my dream life, Congratulations on the fish catches. Your channel has been very inspiring to me. also me being from Silver Spring Maryland it’s enabled the thought that I too can do this. Im an avid angler and I can get you on some largemouth bass here in the DMV Not sure about catch and cook though lol.
Id love to donate lures and tackle to the channel to keep the fishing strong along your journey at lower cost to you.
Keep killing it will the awesome content, Safe travels and Happy journeys 🤙🏾🎣
So satisfying to see you defrost that freezer ;) As I'm sure a million people told you, that's what we had to do all the time when I was a kid and in to my 20s. I still have to do my chest freezer now and then. I really enjoyed this video. I've always been just frustrated with fishing that that actually looked fun.
More of this Action please. Great Episode
Nice. I caught a whole bunch of grunts when we were in the keys. We’re currently in Tampa as well.
Glad you nailed down the catch and cook. Solid move letting him keep the extra cash.
LOVE THE VIDS RYAN KEEP IT UP
I live in Tampa and definitely going to reach out to that captain. Thanks for sharing
Very cool on you catch and cook it looked like a great plate of food well done glad you got your fridge sorted
Ryan, congrats on your first "catch and cook". And a big shout out to 'reelpassioncharters" for the help in obtaining that goal. I have been cheering you on since you first started trying to catch that 'big one' and I am so glad to witness this. The fish did indeed look very tasty and I just might try have to try to catch that next time I am down in Florida. Stay safe bro and keep it between the lines.
If you're ever on the road and can't move your items into another fridge to defrost your own, you can buy some styrofoam disposable coolers to use, grab some ice then toss em when your done
always love watching your videos!
Man I love your videos bro. Keep grinding.
that looked like you had a boat load of fun. congrats on your first catch, clean and cook. 🍻
Looks like fun, congratulations on the catch
Fun! That fish did look delicious! 🎉
Finally freezer clear proud of you bro yeah it succs when that happens 🤟🏾💙💯
Yep those small grunts are good bait fish as my fisherman dad used to say. I need to try your lemon butter recipe. Great video!
Congrats Ryan!
Thanks gahahaha
Do another catch in cook when you get to Alaska. I’m glad I caught this adventure at the beginning. I’ll say it again, try to get to Alaska at the end of May to mid June for the best weather
To add to the other unsolicited refrigerator advice, freezers like that are ice magnets in humid areas because the freezer bit is often a cooling unit, and the ice will get manky. I grew up before frost-free fridges. lol Any chance for after-the-fact general route info for map nerds? Looking forward to the trip north...I (and thousands of others) know what we'll be doing for the next three or four months!
Nice Video. I did a similar drive (drive and dive) in my 21' chinook, last year two days before Thanksgiving (2021). I was supposed to go SCUBA diving and meet the charter at that same "Bait Shop". However, it was too windy and they cancelled (without notifying any customers).
I watched a fisherman cleaning a cooler full of crappie he caught in St. Petersburgh area (a fresh water fish) that he was planning on serving on Thanksgiving. He indicated that was the best fish cleaning station in the area. I am thinking about returning with my boat in tow (reason why I purchased my Chinook Concourse as the V-10 can tow 5,000 lbs) and SCUBA dive "Diving Circle of Heroes" and fish the area.
I am still resisting cooking "INSIDE" my motorhome (don't want to smell up the furniture), and frequently use a small NuWave Induction cooktop (I also have a 4KW Onan generator that allows me to run appliances and Air-conditioner (as well as portable heaters).
Have a safe and enjoyable drive through Florida (I am in Texas).
Happy you got a fish man love the videos from Nashville 👍🏼
Will be catching up with this one soon after the football, Found your channel not long ago and I've been loving the content 👌
Glad you enjoyed Tampa! My wife prefers grunts over grouper. If you ever come back to the Tampa area, MUST check out Fort desoto. Can camp out there and its beautiful.
“Know your clearance” sage advice taught to me young. I’m glad the same was instilled in you! Haha
I like your videos dude. Thank you for making them.
The rainbow river is awesome and really is something to see. The super clear water is unique. It’s two hours north of Tampa bay. Let me know and I’ll get you hooked up.
Glad u got ur first fish bet u were happy love ur videos
Congrats on your catch and cook nice job!
Just found your channel a few days ago, if you go back to the Keys there is a small decommissioned bridge the locals use for bridge jumping into a clear blue canal. Stoked to follow along on your journey.
congrats on the catch and cook... i live in the tampa bay area.... nice to see you visit my area... cant wait til you make it to Louisiana....i love it there... you should have alot of fun....keep cranking out the videos.....
Nice that you got some fish , that convict you got is hard to catch but good eating and that area on causeway is crazy on the weekend and such a nice are for fishing and hanging out just not on the weekend take care just your video and enjoy 🎉
what a great channel dude. love your content.
Sorry to see you leave FL so soon, but I know you've got a schedule to keep. So much more to see here, even without the tourists traps.
super cool! i love the vids, keep em coming
Great videos man!! Keep that shit up! Proud of ya!
i’ve never been so early, keep up the great work!
Early gang
awesome congrats on the catch looking forward to see you do a hunt
Love the video. You were in my home town Tampa and you were at the causeway boat ramp. The causeway way is a place people go on weekends to hang out and play loud music.
Happy fish catching day!! Congrats! I'm assuming you won't be coming through Iowa on your cross country trip, but if you do, we have some great river/lake fishing. We also have some beautiful nature here as well as some fun, quirky stops. If not this time around, maybe someday. I'm assuming you'll be hitting Oregon and Washington though-- I'm pretty familiar with those states as well, so once you get closer, I'll give you some of my recommendations.
HE FINALLY GOT ONE !!!
That has to be the smallest spoil island we have in our area! They are typically pretty sizeable. While you are here, you should look at the stilt houses in the gulf near New Port Richey. There is also Tarpon Springs which has great fishing.
Hey bro I like your content, and I like how humble you are.
If you come to Fort Lauderdale I jabe two kayaks and a pretty epic fishing route we can record. You're probably in Orlando by now but maybe next time. Safe travels my friend.
