You don't need a diff lock on a machine. Just try grabbing some front brake next time and the power will transfer to the other wheel.
Give it a try. It is more fun without a diff lock.

He's got the hmf swamp xl with the snorkel on it, you can see it in the second video when he gets out, that's why it's so loud. And yea he def. needs to lock his differential
Dont you get that feeling when your going through a trail and you see this bad ass mud puddle and your like "Should I use 4 wheel drive?" And you have someone in a passenger seat saying "Nah dont use 4 wheel drive..If you do then your a scared child". Make sure not to use 4 wheel drive folks. :D
probly the size tires that's on it is making the locker kick out, them are some meats on that weapon

I went riding with a guy that had a brute(don't know the year) but his diff-lock lever had a button you could push down to lock the lever in :)

I honestly dint think diff lock would have made a difference because of where hes stuck at... it's just mud, there's no hard ground to grab to

@deanbassist01 the diff lock would have helped, but the bigger tires and that high of engine rev puts a lot of stress on the diff lock and the axels....usually the diff lock is the very last resort b/c if you use it carelessly, you will mess up the 4x4 system BAD!!!!

naw thts just a brute it tells you when the 4th wheel is going to spin4.... the grizz on the other hand will lock so dang hard its easy to snap an axel

You beat me to it! I'm assuming that version has the little handle to lock the front differential. I think it would have pulled right through. Either way it was fun to watch :)

ive had my 08 brute for a year now but yet to break this puppy in cant wait to though!!! any advice on a good smooth riding all around tire... any help would be great
You need to watch video clip 2, I did not have to use the diff lock
he did have it locked in the beginning, just not on the one try around 1:20. Unlike automatic lockers on the Can Ams or the push button locker on the Grizzlies, on those things you gotta hold a lever back to lock the front. It's a pain in the ass and very easy to slip off of in the mud, which was one of the reasons I turned down the amazing power these things have to buy a Grizz
They make something called a pin lock that will hold the lever engaged

Just needs a real diff lock like the suzuki and yamaha. Great quad, but I would never buy it with that little lever that you have to hold and knowing when i'm holding it all i'm engaging is clutch packs that will burn out.

he's just not locking the front diff. it is a 4wd hes just not locking it
@Bandmasters23456 It does not work I know I tried to help him fix it, the handle to put it in diff lock doesn't work.

Attention everyone the diffs do not work, they never did he would press the diff lock handle and it wouldnt work and he tried to fix it it would not work so he gave up on it and didn't try to fix it so please stop saying "put in in diff lock" It does not work!

@NaziZombieModz The diffs never worked in the bike he messed them up me and him tried to fix it but gave up the thing still goes good even without the diffs. ;)
