- Final day in Thailand and trying out some fast food places. Very impressed by what McDonald's was offering, the spiciest chicken I ever had at a fast food restaurant. Also tried out Thailand's KFC and Dairy Queen, here is my review.

Glad you finally got to try the Larb Gai Tod (the chicken and rice bowl you had) at KFC, it’s the best thing ever, when I’m not in Thailand I’ll make it at home myself using KFC fillets, it’s one of the best things
Was at the McDonalds in Bangkok, and that pad krapow with fried chicken is the bomb. Also got patango and condensed milk, so good. McDonalds in Thailand is one of the best.

Years ago when I was in Italy, the Maccas near the Leaning Tower of Pisa had Caesar salad that came with Italian bread sticks instead of croutons.

The congee from McDo in Thailand is bomb! I personally love the chicken one. And also their spicy wings. For KFC, all the rice bowls are ridiculously delicious. This made me miss my home country 😢
Yumm...I sure wish the usa fast food joints would give some of this stuff a try...I think it may turn out to be more popular than they think!!

But those KFC rice bowls still aren’t as good as what you get from a regular street eatery across Thailand. For example the spicy laarb chicken. Any half way decent food establishment in Thailand does a better job that KFC and it’s cheaper.

We have a similar product on our South African KFC menu as the Zab wings. We call them Dunked wings. They are very popular.

If we had stuff like this in America's Mcdonald's (like the congee and the fired dough), I would happily choose them over Wendy's!
McDonald’s is way cheaper in the US compared to other countries which is why they get the “fancy” stuff lol. Only upper class to rich people can afford it
@@matthewandrew8423 they are technically cheaper in most countries outside of the US but yeah price to income ratio wise, they're more expensive. And it's not as bad as "rich people expensive", more of a weekly or monthly eat for most people.

Well, MaccyDs certainly do reflect the taste of the country they are in. I used to love spicy food ,unfortunately not any more. Love watching what other people's food is like, my son really liked Thailand 😊

The problem with these Thai dishes at McD’s and KFC is that you can just go to a nearby food court and get a more authentic version for the same price, if not cheaper. With that said, I did enjoy the Green curry dish that KFC had back when I lived there. I also ate more McD’s Samurai pork burgers than I probably should have.

Not always, but yes. Mall food court could range from good to absolutely the worst food quality you ate in years.

Looks great. I just wish digital cameras today were good at focusing with fried chicken. Lots of times chicken meat looks as bright as the sun or the skin looks so dark you can't make out how crispy it is. Or maybe the chicken just really is that luminous.

In Malaysia's McDonalds we had an extra spicy 3x version, it's red in colour. Most of the menu is similar or have local equivalents, but being a Muslim-majority country the menu is pork-free.
Thats unfortunate because pork is the best.

As a Thai, the normal KFC zap wings in Thailand (with no glaze) is always my go to. It’s just perfect.

@d3vsy That's what I thought, he'd said before that he does his own editing. But the last few vids have had a few problems which is why I wondered if he has an outside editor now. His video's have always been flawless in the past, so I noticed it when there were quite a few errors. Maybe he's really tired from all the travelling. Just an observation. God knows I haven't got a clue how to edit anything!

You need to go to Jamaica and try the KFC there and the island cuisine in general you will enjoy it……the chicken is seasoned to perfection not just with salt……trust me it’s the best

I've eaten many of those and it looks like that! There is a layer of spicy gelatinous kind of thing in the middle that makes it look raw, but its actually cooked all the way through!

I’ve never seen most of these foods here in the US at my McDonald’s.
In the US, Dairy Queen has gotten rid of all their fruit Blizzard options. Everything is chocolate. It's depressing. I used to love their Hawaiian blizzard-nuts, banana, pineapple, and coconut.
Even the McDonald's go hard in Thailand. Dang...

The spicy chicken burger looked pretty pink and undercooked. The first bit of chicken looked amazing though! Im in scotland and mcdonalds have started introducing spicy chicken burgers but they are way too mild and they also have a hot sauce just now but its revolting and not spicy. Wish they would bring the proper spicy chicken here.

Wing Zab from KFC is spicy and really good though. The pie do come in other flavor, it’s just seasonal.
