  • Here's a little something from our trip to the peaceful scenery of the Novohradské hory (Gratzen Mountains). We love this place because it's very relaxing and quiet and it's a great escape from the city.
    Hope you enjoy our little tunes, please leave a like or comment if you do ;)
    I haven't been posting much lately, because of some school exams I had, but I plan to do more, so if you enjoy my videos and music, feel free to subscribe ❤️
    *Edit: You can now listen to our full version of the song Ráda se miluje with guitar and violin: • Ráda se miluje | Karel...

      @@eriklapparent4662 I'm sorry you and your family had tough times. My parents emigrated and I ended up spending a couple of years of my childhood in the USA. We then moved back and I grew up here. As you said, there are some beautiful spots over here. Hopefully I'll be able to check out some nice places in France as well one of these days 🙂✌

      @@dominikpokorny You don't have to be sorry Pan Dominik!Neither yourself or myself could do anything

    The Czech song was so beautiful! I only wish it was longer ;D Please do more traditional Czech music! I absolutely adore it :) And sadly it's quite hard for a foreigner to find many czech folk songs... They need more attention! It's such an amazing language, which I've just started learning only bc I find it so beautiful :)
    edit: would you consider doing a full version of this song? Your two voices are so beautiful with this song and there's none other cover with multiple voices. It would be so amazing to have the whole song in your version...

    Nice close harmony singing by the way! Is that a Czech trad song?

      Thank you very much my friend! It's a song written by a contemporary Czech musician and a great guitar player named Karel Plíhal. You can check out the link in the description if you'd like to hear our cover of the whole song, we recorded it with guitar and violin though the original is just vocals and piano if I'm not mistaken.. Thanks for stopping by once again 😉

    How lovely. You have a pretty good Scottish accent 😀 have you been there? I looked on Google Maps. You seem to be close to Austria? We have visited Austria a few times, and Germany many times (we have German relatives). What is the reference to German mountains?
    Thanks for the beautiful video and songs. Enjoy your walking 🙂

    • @dominikpokorny
      @dominikpokorny  Před rokem +1

      Thank you, we enjoyed it a lot, the walking there is great. And mushroom picking! Most of all the peace and quiet though... I've never been to Scotland, but I remember hearing the song like this on my parents old cassette tapes. I mixed up a bit with the German, I was trying to say, that the Austrian part of the mountains is called Gratzen Mountains in German (language). Though I'm not even sure that's correct, maybe they call the whole mountains like that :) In Czech they're called Novohradské hory. If you travel to Austria maybe you can visit this place, they're not mountains in a sense of any big climbs or anything but the nature there has a soothing effect on the soul ;)
