@@LALakers4life34 I guess I should be more specific. I suppose by normal I meant a regular on the roster during their prime. Just like how Roman Reigns is now, but will one day be considered a legend and a legend in WWE video games in the future.

They won’t because it’s wwf and they got sued for using that logo that’s why it’s wwe now they could add this as a dlc but change the name in 2k23 I rather see the smack down vs raw be remastered this 2k crap sucks

This game has the best audience I have ever heard in a wrestling game!
The finishers took like 6 buttons to execute 😂 This game had a lot of cool elements. Wish they had entrances. It’s funny how at the end of the match everyone just gets up and walks away lol
It did have entrances. This person just has them turned off.
The FMV content and CD audio made the PSX version so worth it.

This game introduced me to WWF, I was a WCW fan, but the cool adult, dark, more violent presentation of this got me (aged 7 😅).
Had the same situation! As a WCW fan (watching on polish Cartoon Network) me and my brother wanted good wrestling games but the best ones were based on WWF/WWE, so we've gravitated towards these games. The WCW/NWO Thunder were good but we've already had PS1, so N64 seemed a little outdated. Good times though! Greetings from Poland.
So many childhood nights staying up past bedtime with the TV on low playing this with siblings on the N64. I should really hook it up again, I still have it in a box somewhere.

These times were just the absolute BEST I can’t even begin , playing this on the PS1 back in 1998 then watching RAW with family/cousins on sleep overs , memories on top of memories

This was the second video game I played before WCW video game came along
The PlayStation version seems way better than the N64 version.
We’d go outside and wrestle in the grass knowing well we shouldn’t have been doing it but it was crazy times👍
There are two things I always disliked about War Zone, the random select from the AI and not being allowed to pick your opponent (sometimes it took like 20 minutes just to get the matches you wanted like Undertaker vs Kane or Bret vs Shawn), and the lack of entrances. Aside from that, I spent many so many hours playing this back in the day. Create-A-Wrestler was groundbreaking.
Well, the animation and voice acting in this and Attitude were awful but these games still brought excitement. Good times...
This game has more wrestlers than the current wwe roster
Always was a stone cold fanatic. Had like 5 different shirts I got from Miller's Outpost, and I remember being beyond amazed just cause of the cover. Then I got it and almost broke my control from throwing it when mankind was beating me, haha.
what made this game superior at the time were the filmed promos in single player...man those were the best!
The characters you played in the tournament modes were UNBEATABLE
