I had a 3 pigs board with moira + rylak scaling for 3k temp buff quills to beat the cabra. Completely unironically playing quills

I only play ETC in duos. My buddy played it last night and he got my buddy gold in turn 6. So we got a very nice start. Apart from that he never got a useful buddy of his own :)

yeah its one of those: know where u are in the game and adapt accordingly moments. While golden cars can give you something for later, it's no effect for the upcoming combat and alakir is most likely golden soon and 4x shields going forward. It's guaranteed build-around shields vs hope for one last turn of 5/6 star spells. Even if u hit it's probably too late.
We don't have the time to greed anymore. Time to put the power on the board and play w/ what we've got.
