There was no monopoly at all. It was all well deserved. There was never any competition between the Mangeshkar sisters and others. Others complained of monopoly because they weren't talented and weren't getting more jobs. Today , there is degradation and deterioration of music and so it lacks consistency. It's more of a lack of consistency than the so called vibrant competition that exists today. Sunidhi and Shreya ruled the roost for a long time because they were unmatched in those times. Today , anyone comes and goes singing one or two songs.

Speaker should have spoken in hindi to respect her creativity. And to honour my country's culture. Most of people who loves her songs , they speak and understand hindi.
