Indians buy scooters for daily runabouts and grocery purchases and this contraption is too costly and impractical (especially the lack of a flat footboard) for those. We don't really need flashy scooters with huge TFT screens and electronic gimmicks. People who like long rides or speed races would be buying a bike in any case, not a scooter.
