      @JustinFullerReviews  Před 5 lety +1

      I am a little biased on this. I have owned a Civic before. My only knock on the hybrid is if you ever have to fix the hybrid battery out side the 100K warranty it is about a $3K fix. For that, I still lean towards non-hybrid if you plan to own the car that long. If not, I think the Insight is legit!

    • @JustinFullerReviews

      When the car remote starts it does run the AC or heat. When you get it the car it is asking you to hit the start button to acknowledge the owner is in the car with the key. it then turns on the rest of the electronics such as the screens.

    Which car do you think would be best for a teen driver the Honda Civic sedan or coupe both touring models

    • @JustinFullerReviews
      @JustinFullerReviews  Před 5 lety +8

      I have owned a Civic Coupe myself. I would say the sedan, for visibility and being able to load stuff up. A lot of high school students play, sports, band, dance, etc. The extra space will be helpful. The sedan will also be worth more in the long run. More people seek out used 4 door vehicles than 2 door. If this is for a new driver, I do not know that I would go with a Touring though. It has a lot of extras I am not sure a new driver really need. An EX would get the job done, with safety features, etc.

So I guess you will have to decide if you prefer remote start or Walk way lock doors. Honda will not allow you to have both feature turned on at the same time.....bummer

    • @ivanlowjones
      @ivanlowjones Před 5 lety

      That's not the case in my 2016 Civic. I park at work in the morning with the "walk away" feature and then I use the remote start feature to warm up the interior about 5 minutes before I clock out in the evening since my office window overlooks the parking lot. I even use it in the summer to cool off the interior before I head home.

    • @joshdudeguy2830
      @joshdudeguy2830 Před 5 lety +1

      While in 'Drive' mode, if you hold the brake, you can hit the brake hold and let go of the brake. This will keep the car from creeping forward like it would if you did that in any other car. The parking brake is similar, but you have to be in park. You pull up on the trigger and it activates the parking brake (which is usually a lever in the middle console of other cars or a separate pedal in trucks), you disengage it by pushing the button down. It works like that because it is an electric parking brake instead of a manual parking brake.
