A moment of silence for those who haven't yet discovered this band
I had never heard of them until I first watched "Dig," which was just because I really liked the Dandy Warhols. Next time--and since then--I watched it solely due to BJM, although it unfortunately left me terrified of Anton for a while, LOL, until I learned that had been 20 years ago, he was clean now, and that the "documentary" was also manipulative. Over the years, CZcams would occasionally have BJM in the suggestions column and I'd listen a little but never connected to them. Until December 2016, when I was coming off four deaths of loved ones that year. I still don't know why the penny suddenly, finally dropped but I'm SO glad it did!! Instantly became a huge fan and could not listen to anything else for months. During that time, I traveled to a couple of concerts by a band I'd been a hardcore fan of for 30+ years, however, I spent most of my time fervently wishing I was finally getting to see BJM. I kick myself for just missing the three-hour shows earlier in 2016 because I hadn't seen the light yet! The music has gotten me through about three really dark periods since then and I will forever be grateful for the musical lifelines!

I saw Anton, twice, before two BJM shows in Boston at TT's and the Paradise.
First time was 2005, so i was a bit starstruck, and kinda moved out of his way.
Second time, few years later, i made eye contact & started to speak, but he
gave me this look, like "Don't even..."
It was kinda funny, but i got the message,
My friend was like, "It's pre-show, he's focused...leave him alone."
To this day, an incredible talent.
