    She loves him.
    She cares deeply about him.
    She respects him.
    She knows him.
    She understands him.
    She honors him.
    She is his ex-wife.
All connections last forever, on some level.
She is beautiful. Her connection to him was love and that persists.
That is both what I see in this TED talk and what I feel in my heart for literally all of the people in my life who I have had the opportunity and blessing to get to know.

You know, it is truly difficult for visionaries to concentrate on some things when they have a lot going on. One of these is love, it's not because they don't feel love, but rather, they are so heavily invested in their passion. It is hard to express emotion and give time to a relationship or family when you are chasing your dreams. I love what she said towards the end about how they may make lousy husband or wives, forget about an important date or meeting, but they pave the way for our world and truly make a difference in it.

I think what Justine did in this Ted episode, was to prove to herself, that she is strong enough and smart enough to carry the name Musk in today's reality. A world where success is measured in wealth. I suspect her two handed approach to water bottles is simply that she recognized the strain she was feeling and correctly decided to use both hands. I also feel that the reason she is divorced from Elon, is she struggled over a long period of time to grasp the reality that an intelligent and beautiful woman would forever be Elon's second wife. He is an engineer physicist rocket scientist inventor first, followed by a husband and Father. Our world has many husbands and fathers and only one Elon Musk. Having been severely picked on as a child, I know what it feels like to be an outsider who does not quite trust the world or the people in it... I think that a Visionary is someone who has survived and grown from the darkness enough to see a forthcoming sunrise that we are yet to see, and they bring that new horizon, connect us with it. These are the light bringers, the way farers, the showers of the way. I often look at Elon and see a sadness or a dull stillness in his eyes at times. I imagine his mind continuously racing and feel that he has taken himself out of the equation, and the changes that he brings are for the betterment of mankind and the world we live in. The most ideal version would be having two legends of similar caliber in their own respective fields so they can do their own thing while apart from one another, making equally as shocking waves in their own fields, while serving as catalysts for one another to bounce ideas off of to help spring-board their thoughts and be able to better actualize their potential by having someone who truly understands and is able to offer feedback on such forward thinking ideas.

She's intellectual and a very understanding person and beautiful as well. Yes I think she still has a thing for Elon but she keeps it contained I think because she knows it wasn't meant to be. She understands him and understands he has to go Full Throttle and 100% for his visions. I'm sure the biggest problem would have been his time at work whether at home or at work and unlike some husbands he was working. You cannot stop a visionary. I think she knew that and she understood he would be miserable if she did. I think she also knew that he would not be Elon if he were harnessed. I also think Elon understood that about himself. And he probably knew he could not be the husband that she wanted. I imagine their divorce was probably was based on Mutual agreeance. Without knowing anything about their children except what I heard in this lecture obviously I would say their children are blessed with intelligence and understanding. If had any drama in their past kudos for both of them for keeping it out of the Press.

It initially felt a bit meandering but I realized that was perhaps deliberate: it's structured as a loose sequence of stories and anecdotes punctuated by lessons and insights that give those stories added dimension and poignance. By the end I got this sort of meta feeling that Justine was using this talk to demonstrate what she said a writer's job was ("to find the light in darkness and give it new identity"), but with Elon, and by extension, the people listening who feel cast out by their own idiosyncrasies. It felt both whimsical and focused, abstract and specific, all at once.

Greatness, dark or luminescent, radiates and transforms many lives. Most visionaries had troubled life whether Einstein, Curie, Jobs or Gates. But that is infinitesimal compared to the world transforming changes these entities delivered. Life, marriage, social relevance should not be weighed against their genius. Their popularity touches everyone’s life and generally enhances humanity.
