Just because a person doesn't agree with your beliefs, way of being or who you are doesn't make them a bigot. It's when who you are and those views that they dont like are discussed they that they lash out in ANGER and dont let you speak cutting you off is when the line is crossed in to bigotry
Omg.. I know plenty of people who throw this word around often and I'm like 👁👄👁 because of the point you just made. A lot of people don't realise this.
I figured I'd listen to this man for the first time and you know what right away I don't agree. Because I'm 63 and I've been married to white men before and it's not just an opinion they come out with certain statements that my first one especially when I was very young, would come out with statements like that's very white of you or something like that I'm a person of color and I never had a problem being racist more bigoted but I was raised kind of strict and told not to hang in certain areas which I could understand that because they were Troublesome but that was on both sides of the color spectrum. But if you're one that never got in trouble with the law and things like that prone to things like that and they look at you or treat you with certain way where they stereotype you according to your color or hair texture that's when it truly becomes bigotry. We need to be careful who's labeled a bigot but at the same time I don't think that word should be eliminated. Because it is what it is. If he was a black man first of all he's young, so I've seen for the most part young people not having bigoted attributes so if he's young and he was with a black or ethnic looking woman and he had a child for instance, it would depend on how he treated them both. Maybe bigotry won't be mentioned among the young people, granted I can understand that seeing I really don't see nearly as much of that around the younger like him, but when they hear their grampies making jokes if they do, I know they love them but they need to take their jokes a little more serious because that's an indication that those g r a m p i e s are bigoted and that's the only reason why they would make those jokes, but I do have to say this man's heart is in the right place
This word is being passed like a blunt now. People who use this word on someone are ironically the ones being the bigot. It's like the word “simp” Having a crush on someone or having feelings for someone doesn't make you a simp. People need to learn how to properly use certain words. Just a pet peeve of mine.
Far too reductive . Calling out racist, homophobic, transphobic , sexist , ideology and putting it on equal footing as though these ideas shouldn't be challenged is absurd. This is much deeper than mere differences of opinion. Context is everything.
This word has different applications. If I call you a bigot then yes it is problematic, but if I identify you as being a bigot through your opinions, beliefs, and actions then I should engage you accordingly. I don't have to call you a bigot for you to be a bigot, but how I engage you as a bigot is key.
Lol opinions don't matter. You can't become the best sniper if you like close range scopes How is this wrong? If you don't have a long range scope attacking an enemy at long range you are literally at a disadvantage. ??!?!?!?!?!
Bigots turn themselves into a joke. Some examples: The problem; A female actress gets a lead role in an action movie, they're angry. The solution (according to them); Hire bulky male action stars that they love and see every movie from. The problem; A gay actor is cast to play a gay character, they're angry The solution (according to them); Just hire a bulky dude that isn't gay and doesn't need to play a gay character The problem; A trans actor gets a role, they're angry The solution (according to them); The person should've stayed a man, then they wouldn't have cared about the casting The problem; A person of color is cast to play a character that is white in the books, they're angry The solution (according to them); They should've just hired a straight white man for the role. Is anyone else seeing the same recurring pattern that I do? All they want, all they ask for, and every time they defend someone; it's straight white men, preferably big and bulky or lean and funny. Now, I'm a straight guy; but that shit sounds gayer than anything I've watched gays do on screen. Bigots are a fkn joke. They're just too stupid to realize that on their own. And because there's so many of them, they assume they're right because they have the majority. You know, moron logic. But your logic "you're a bigot by calling someone a bigot" isn't logical, at all. It just sounds like an excuse to justify whatever you were saying that made people call you a bigot 🤷♂️ I mean, are you thief for telling a thief they are one? No, that's not how that shit works. Yes, technically a bigot is someone who judges others for being different. But you can't bigot a bigot, that makes no fkn sense. How is it judgemental to call someone a bigot after they openly attack a whole social group because they're not like them? You're not calling them out or insulting them by emphasizing on how they're different and ridiculing that. That's what they are doing. What you'd be doing is telling them that's what they're doing. If they then go "well, you're a bigot for calling me a bigot" then they deserve to be bitch slapped. For real.
My teacher called me a bigot. He failed my essay on the weirdness of autistic people. He said it was full of prejudice, hatred, and ignorance. That is so not true. I am NOT a bigot. I am a realist There's a difference. And *_realistically,_* .people with autism say or do weird things and stand out. They are SO different and unusual. Neurotypicals function normally and acceptably, even despite their flaws. They fit in together, and one or two autistics are gonna act peculiar or misfit-like in the whole group. My coworker is on the spectrum, and he doesn't fit in at work. He says stupid things a lot. If I built a puzzle of the Eiffel Tower, and one puzzle piece was a fish where the sky should be, it would be both wrong and different in the whole puzzle. The concept of autistic = weird/unusual is FACTUALLY true. So technically, there's no reason to fail my accurate and in-depth paper that is full of logic. Reality is reality. Why'd he fail me and call me a bigot?
Maybe there is a possibility that the way you typed this comment at least structure wise can be interpreted as ignorant, because it kind of comes off as just that, ignorant of the depths of the subject you claim to have done a thesis or in depth research on. Your random example of a experience you.had with a autistic person and how you then go on to use it as a catch all to explain your own opinions on the facts do indeed come across as either abit "unlearned" or purposefully ignorant as in lacking knowledge. Autism is a spectrum and you can also have more then own disorder other then it. There for it is very very widely different on a per individual basis....and your way of word choice, comes across like I said ......lack of a solid understanding and appears as such...... Maybe that's why the outcome was not what you expected. Before anyone gets negative i see a question i describe a possible reasonable answer since you asked for a reason, Could be anything , this seems like a logical one.
@@thejokerclownprinceofcrime974 Ok, so let me get this straight. You _don't_ think (semi) autistic people are weird and different? You think they can be just as normal as good old neurotypicals? You wrote so much last time. Keep it simple this time.

Someone called me that yesterday because they didn't want to listen to what i was saying
this word is so dumb and that’s why people don’t understand it and search it up . It’s a foolish thing to say.
Ready or not, here are the refund details and anticipated actions

Dictionary FDA not approved.
So conclusion is if someone call others a bigot, he himself is a real bigot. You deserve to be a teacher.
Proud bigot here 😊
We make words up.
I think if you are calling someone a bigot without anger or hate its fine but good video hope this gets some more views
What if you're in the right and they just getting angry?
I was called a bigot recently because I said I wasn’t a fan of a TV show. 😂
What show was it?
@@mrexecutive Doctor Who. I like the old era from the 60’s to the 80’s but not the modern era.
Same here over doctor who
Same here, but for the new Star Wars show.
I am big-goated because I am based
Question what if you call somebody a racist bigot

??!?!?!?!?!
Oh wait
I thought this video was calling me a bigot for not having left wing opinions
🤣🤣
My definition of a bigot is somebody that racially discriminate and take pride in the confederacy
Incorrect, your explanation is too WEAK.
Bigot , No take back! lol
Yeah, but what you call them when they are being bigots
BIGOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bigots turn themselves into a joke.
Some examples:
The problem;
A female actress gets a lead role in an action movie, they're angry.
The solution (according to them);
Hire bulky male action stars that they love and see every movie from.
The problem;
A gay actor is cast to play a gay character, they're angry
The solution (according to them);
Just hire a bulky dude that isn't gay and doesn't need to play a gay character
The problem;
A trans actor gets a role, they're angry
The solution (according to them);
The person should've stayed a man, then they wouldn't have cared about the casting
The problem;
A person of color is cast to play a character that is white in the books, they're angry
The solution (according to them);
They should've just hired a straight white man for the role.
Is anyone else seeing the same recurring pattern that I do?

This makes much more sense!!!How would it be different when it’s racial bigotry?
Is bigot defining the person and bigotry use to define the person act
Yeah i watched this video hoping to understand what it means, now I'm even more lost than before
😂😊🫡

You realize everything you just said can apply to non autistic people as well.
