The purpose of the Christian life is to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. It's not to have a happy life. Some, indeed, many Christians do fit into the world's mold and live comfortable and happy lives. But some are called to suffering and struggles. The purpose of this life is to get right with God and prepare for Heaven, not live in the mold of the world!!
