I very first watched this film between 1998 and 1999. It's a very interesting movie and of course it reminded me of the 1997 animated film Anastasia. Wendy bears a number of similarities to the main character Anastasia. -Both are the main character of the story. -Both have a love interest. (Dimitri for Anastasia and Casper for Wendy) -Both have some company. (Pooka the dog and Wendy's broom) -Both have an evil enemy that's trying to kill them. (Rasputin to kill Anastasia and Desmond Spellman to kill Wendy). Desmond Spellman is a lot like Rasputin all right and the Oracle in the mirror is like Bartok. Fun film and I hope it will turn into blu ray very soon!

I want to be sure is that I hated the scene is when Stretch (played by Jim Ward who plays Chet Ubetcha and Doug Dimmadome for "The Fairly Oddparents" which was the cartoon series on Nickelodeon) angrily screamed, "Dead" angrily right into Casper's face. You can clearly see Stinky and Fatso didn't seem not to care and were ignoring it because it was none of their business. It was completely uncalled for and unacceptable when he did that. And yes, Stinky and Fatso were about to say, "Yeah, What he say." because they were refusing to be friendly. So they are going to defend him after he shouted at Casper. This was right after they were scaring actor Jim Jackman and actress Shelia Travis away. I should warn everyone about this scene, It is disturbing when he did that. It is shown at the 20:07 minute mark. I also do not like the next scene when they were running away at the 19:46-19:49 minute mark. This is right after Stinky (played by Bill Farmer who also does the voice of Goofy) sprays the green stinky smell right into their faces at the 19:33 minute mark, They jumped out of the window at the 19:37-19:38 minute mark just before Stretch tossed their suitcases at the window at the 19:39-19:42 minute mark as he said, "Thanks for your hospitality. See ya." at the 19:42 minute mark. And yes, You do see the crowd is at the same spot didn't see actor Jim Jackman and actress Shelia Travis were running away at the 19:49 minute mark. I think they didn't care at all as they ran out as the scene ends. What exactly happen to them after they left? It has to be the worst movie scene of all-time when this was made in 1998. At the 19:47 minute mark, You can see actress Shelia Travis is crying, Why? Because Casper's uncles kicked them out. To make more worse, Josh didn't know that his parents were gone. It looks like that he didn't care when Casper's uncles kicked them out. Josh was played by Blake Foster who plays Justin for "Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie" and the tv series on FOX Kids.

Casper The Friendly Ghost, and Wendy The Good Little Witch are the 2 little bravery heroic ghouls. Casper tries his best to save Wendy, but the Ghostly Trio (Casper's Uncles) and the 3 sisters of Witches (Wendy's Aunts) are just been teaming up together to save both of them already as long is their safe. The evil warlock Desmond Spellman has been defeated and he's gone forever. So now, Wendy is the greatest witch, and she will befriended for Casper. And the haunted fantasy adventure is over.
The animation in this clearly is trying but what could they have possibly have done with only 6 million!? (For reference the original Casper movie had a 55 million budget). And, the casting is really good for the live action bits. Like, the people Stretch, Stinky, and Fatso possess are really good live versions! I kinda wish this was a prequel cause while I may prefure the original voices, these guys look spot on for how I’d imagine they looked alive! (And to there credit, they sound pretty close to! Heck I couldn’t find it for certain, but I think Stretches voice actors the same but weirdly pitched up? not sure and it’s probably not, but it’s a good impression.)
