I believe the warden is going to be the best of the bunch once all of their abilities are added to each one of them, nobody really knows how the sentinel will turn it out because we have no idea of the future of E warfare.

Awesome ship but it has half the hull hp as the others. Still I love all the vanguards, hope we get another heavy fighter ship with a big gun or two, not a fan of the F8 many little guns.

I am really hoping for a competitor to the vanguard series. A heavy with interior. We have a few other heavies for multiplayer but only the vanguard has the interior. I love the vanguard, but the appearance does absolutely nothing for me. Most boring looking ship in the game. I park it far away and walk to my destination just so no one sees me getting out of the ugly thing.
See, I'd love a vanguard competitor as well, but come on it isn't THAT ugly 😅

You pip is telling you to shoot in one direction and you are shooting in the other yet you are hitting your shots, how is that possible ?
Lag pip vs lead pip probably, I switch between them. Lead pip, you put your aiming reticle on the pip. Lag pip, , you put the pip on the target.
Would you provide your loadout setup for your ship.
Seeing as I pvp with the ship, I run the stock S4 Attrition repeater, 2 Gvsr(laser) repeaters and 2 Atsv(distortion) Repeaters. For missiles, I run 16 taskforces on 481 mounts, and 2 S4 raptors on 414 mounts. Components, all grade A military, as there's no real difference other than distortion shutdown values.

@@harf4ng current game balance has all S5 weapons and cannons with the same projectile velocity (700ms). S4 laser repeaters are 1400ms. Gvsr and disto repeaters (think the atvs?) are 1400ms. If you don’t match the weapons so the projectile velocities are all the same it screws up the pip, making it less accurate. I also keep it fixed and do not use the gimbal option, current implementation of gimbals is dog shit

@@harf4ng s5 repeaters and every other s5 and up weapon, yes, along with the s1-4 cannons
I'm really torn between buying the Harbinger or the Sentinel. The latter is more nimble and faster but the future of E-WAR (and therefore, the potential of the Sentinel) is currently an unknown.
The sentinel and harbinger are both 2m in game, so you can try both out fairly easily, but if you're set on spending real cash on a vanguard, the warden is the cheapest.
Harbinger would be beneficial if you're into missiles and having a gunner, as for me sentinel feels more responsive in flight and as missiles right now depend on server being good as much as they do I'd stay with sentinel. But to be fair it's more or less subjective
Notice you preferred a repeater loadout rather than cannon? And laser over cannons? Have to give it a try, see you use a mix of distorsion and normal lasers...
As I generally do a lot of PVP, current meta is repeaters for S4 and lower guns, otherwise you can’t reliably land shots on fast movers. As for disto, also a meta right now, as the second someone takes disto damage without shields being up they start having stuff (including weapons and shield generators) shut down.
Now, if I know for an absolute fact I’ll be fighting big ships only, yea I’ll run cannons, mix of disto and laser cannons in the nose with the s5 being a laser cannon.
@@Zealot_117 Does it work for pve too? Like bounties or combat assistance? btw in pve when I have my weapons go red and do not recharge for a few seconds this is maybe because I took distorsion damage? Maybe I'll try your setup for pve too, the distorsion repeaters are good against shields no?
@@harf4ng it does work for PVE as well, and yes on the recharge, but typically if you know you’re not taking disto damage, and you know you have power to weapons, but they won’t recharge it’s a server delay. All ya can do is disengage and wait for shit to start working again. For PVP, always assume most players are running disto weapons.
Also yes, disto still damages shields. They have splash damage so where you hit a ship with them matters.
Dont get use to that EMP its going away sometime soon.
