    The time of the video went by so fast! I just loved what Naples has to offer. In fact, in one of my jobs, I met a couple of Italian men and I was talking to them about fashion. They specifically said Naples was the place to go.
    I saved this in my Mens Fashion category for the day I can buy a bespoke suit. For some reason when I saw Panico's work, something clicked in me. Maybe the 'old fashion' style part of me especially prefers his work.
    Fantastic suit Hugo! Been looking at a similar looking one myself. Love the tie and red handkerchief.

    It's funny how I got here, I started watching fragrance video's then bespoke shoes and then this channel popped up (another video about suits).
    You don't seem to have a fragrance/perfume video (at least not here on YT), I'd be interested in that tho.

    Another great video - thanks! Quick question: 'French Cuff or Single Cuff?' I ask because when I moved from NYC to Singapore - I found wearing the French Cuff warmer during the day.. as one does have to leave an office with air-con for meetings etc. Is it practical in the tropics? Cheers!

    • @SARTORIALTALKS
      @SARTORIALTALKS  Před 4 lety +1

      Hello. We are fans of both styles of shirt cuffs. Hugo rarely is concerned with comfort over style, so he would wear what he feels is most stylish. I likely would shift to the single cuff if the French cuff distracted me from the task at hand---so I suppose it depends on your personal disposition. Fun to consider, so thanks for your question. Cheers! ~Sonya (and Hugo)

    There’s an Antonio Solito in Mexico City, high end bespoke tailor. Do you think he’s related to Solito in Naples? Another quick (but probably very hard) question... which of all these great masters would you recommend for gentleman who wants his first Neapolitan bespoke suite?

    If you go to Naples, bring a gun and a shovel. The shovel is for all the trash on the streets, gun so that you don't get mugged. And stay away from the train station. I was only passing through once when I went to an academic conference and I get pickpocketed. Luckily nothing expensive, but still.

    • @SARTORIALTALKS
      @SARTORIALTALKS  Před 5 lety +2

      We lived there for two years while writing the Italian Gentleman, my friend. Not sure when you traveled there, but Naples (and particularly Posillipo) is simply gorgeous in many areas. There are some places with a lot of dog poo on the street and this was frustrating to dodge whenever we walked to the grocery story. Of course, as in every city, there are locations which are unkept, and the Spanish Quarter is known for watch thieves. In regard to pick pockets, the risk at the train station is similar to Paris, in our opinion. Still, we respect your comment and glad you shared your experience, albeit it was not the best of times for you. Cheers! Sonya and Hugo

    • @Jacob011

      @@SARTORIALTALKS I'm not sure when you were there, which could play a role. But looking at the map it's pretty clear that the area you're talking about is kinda posh compared to the rest of the city. If you take a peon bus from the airport to the main train station in the city center, you'll get the idea.
      That's not to say there aren't nice areas, but after reading the tripadvisor reviews most of which describe the same, if not worse, experience I've had, I'm convinced it wasn't just me having a bad time.
