I have that Skipper from thrifting, with the pretty hair streaks, and Teresa as well! Put them both in plaid bottoms and white tops. I recently thrifted 1991 Mermaid Barbie, when I’d had a Mermaid Fountain in her outfit and one in Mermaid Fountain’s too. Was so excited. Had no idea about the variant. Put my other Mermaid Fountain in a Zebra print too and shorts and jacket I got in a bag of clothes and it reminds me of a Barbie anniversary look.

I did recently find the quick curl Barbie dress and I already had her so now they are together which I'm happy about. I also just found that mermaid doll. Sadly her fin is broken and they glued it back on in an ugly way but she's still cute! I love her earrings! Great haul as usual. Thanks so much for the video!

Congrats on the Barbie! I have to share my today's flea market frustration here: I was at a flea market (in Germany, it is just easier to write in English for me) and found a bunch of G1 MLPs. Yaay! Raincurl, two sweetheart sisters, bride pony and a bunch of newborn babies. Noting too rare as far as G1 MLPs are concerned. I was so happy and was even ready to take them all with me - but then the prices: she wanted 20 euro for Raincurl (good body, fizzy hair), 15 for s.sisters and 12 per baby - and would not lower the price. So I just than wanted the Raincurl + 2 babies: price 50. She wouldn't take 35 or handle... I told her those are the already inflated ebay prices, but no - she knows better. So, I left them all :( Is it just me or are the flea market sellers sometimes really unrealistic? Wasn't 35 euros a good price?
You are right. These are not flea market prices. And I would only consider it if I did not own any of the ponies yet. This person was either a collector or checked ebay prices. But people don't go to flea markets to pay ebay prices obviously. It's much easier to sleep in, lay on your couch and click "buy now" or type in some numbers in an auction and get it shipped than go early to a bunch of flea markets, dig in dirty boxes hoping to find something. So people go to flea markets to pay less. Otherwise we could just pay ebay prices, pick and choose and sit comfy at home 🤷🏼♀️ Some sellers don't understand that. It's 2 different pairs of shoes, online and flea market prices. Has happened to me with G3 ponies once but never with G1s (find them super rarely😅) and with Barbies yes, has happened but it was a collector and then I simply don't buy from them. I totally see your frustration!!! Would be the same for me. You find the ponies and then they are too pricey🤬
Online prices and flea market prices are a whole different world. Online Barbie prices in Germany are also very high when people know what they are selling. So please don't think Italy is specifically more expensive.😉 Online prices for all sorts of vintage toys have exploded also in Germany. I bet on Italian flea markets you can get good deals. Have you ever tried to find thrift shops, 2nd hand shops, charity shops or flea markets etc. around your area? Maybe you have to drive a while but it might be worth it. It also takes me over an hour to some of the flea markets I visit. Sometimes 2 hours. Berlin is big and from one part of the city to the other it takes 1-2 hours😅 and whenever I'm on holiday, I try to visit flea markets or shops in that area. You will find some place to buy toys "in the wild" I'm sure.😉

And I tried 4 different flea markets here, but you can find only modern dolls or vintage dolls but at a collector price (they asked me 60euros for peaches and cream Barbie, and she was also dirty and incomplete)... I just found a cut and style barbie for 8euros, not a very flea market price, and I had to work a lot on her, she was dirty and hair was a mess. So... Yeah. I buy online when I find good deals, but no way to have a Crystal Barbie for that price!!
I love the pizza skipper face I have a roughly 30 odd skippers from that era but I only have one with that face it’s is actually the Pizza Hut one I beleive I live skippers from that era . I only had one growing up hitch was the animae eyes skipper and I treasured her so much she had her own bedroom and I made it just like my own cos I felt like I related to her more than Barbie at the time. As I was a teanager I got rid CNN of my dolls at 17 so played with them till quite late but then started collecting again at 23 when I had my kids I would say I was but I g for my daughter but I still have them all and I started collecting seriously about 8 years ago and now have a whole doll room right ughtly a few hundred dolls cars houses and everything that comes I. Barbie versions and lots of polly pockets and few hundred ponies n and other collection . It makes me so happy and I feel innocent calm content and happy playing with and arranging my toys xx
From all the Barbie family and friends Skipper is my fave!!! I never had a Skipper growing up. I had a Stacie and some Skipper fashions I put on her. The Teen Sweetheart (anime eyes) Skipper face mold and the Pizza Party Skipper face mold are my faves❣❣❣ So cool you have such a big selection of toys now. You left playing with toys late and started re-collecting early. For me much mioe time passed in between.😅 Ponies, Polly Pocket, Barbie~ best mix 😍💗💗💗 Thanks for your comment☺

I love the pizza skipper face I have a roughly 30 odd skippers from that era but I only have one with that face it’s is actually the Pizza Hut one I beleive I live skippers from that era . I only had one growing up hitch was the animae eyes skipper and I treasured her so much she had her own bedroom and I made it just like my own cos I felt like I related to her more than Barbie at the time. As I was a teanager I got rid CNN of my dolls at 17 so played with them till quite late but then started collecting again at 23 when I had my kids I would say I was but I g for my daughter but I still have them all and I started collecting seriously about 8 years ago and now have a whole doll room right ughtly a few hundred dolls cars houses and everything that comes I. Barbie versions and lots of polly pockets and few hundred ponies n and other collection . It makes me so happy and I feel innocent calm content and happy playing with and arranging my toys xx

I never had a Skipper growing up. I had a Stacie and some Skipper fashions I put on her.
The Teen Sweetheart (anime eyes) Skipper face mold and the Pizza Party Skipper face mold are my faves❣❣❣
