Was browsing around looks at camping tents & came across one of these. I love the way the look and are built. Very strong & heavy duty. i wished i lived in the UK but i live in the US and i know the shipping cost for 1 of these is going to be and arm and a leg... but i know it would be worth it, i added one to my shopping cart. i might save up and get one of these.. Very cool..
Just bought the Bivvy and wrap, absolutely brilliant, great value and surprisingly spacious
Been looking at this system, very nice 👍 thanks Joe 👍👍
Brilliant review and sounds like an awesome bit of kit
Just ordered mine can't wait 👍🎣
Any good?
I've just got one with the wrap. Did two nights with my daughter and two beds in the one man. Love it, quality bit of kit
Just got one and there bloody brilliant
Thankyou for that
Really informative
Looks amazing, just preordered mine ,as it was out of stock ,can see this running out of as soon as it hits the market again.
That bivvy looks very nice
Just ordered one looks puka can’t wait
How low was that bed chair it's giving me curly back just looking at it
Just received my and mighty impressed but do you have to keep un zipping the whole door ect as came with a massive warning triangle saying dont put away with door on thanks.
Great review guys and another great video xx
Just got mine , with a wrap , and what a bit of kit . I could go on about this all day ,feature packed 🎣🎣
How is it for space? Looks quite small inside
@@ptheledge5390 it’s got loads of room, I’ve got a solar c tech wide bed in mine and still loads of room, best bivvy on the market 👌🏼
does the over wrap also have rear vents ?
reminds me of the Nash Titan AS brolly, wonder if the seems are as leaky
Looks like they've taken my JRC Bloxx and fixed the only issue I have, wasted space behind the bedchair. Hope they keep making them until I need a new one and not drop them next year as they have a habit of doing with all their kit.
I’ve had one for a while now and I’ve been on the bank for 3 weeks strait in it must say one of the best cottages I’ve ever owned and I’ve have a lot of bivvys over the years and at a fantastic price can’t recommend it enough
Random I would say if you can afford it get one but if it’s too expensive for you a cheaper bivvy will be fine they all do the same job mate and there are some decent bivvys for less money as long as it keeps you dry on a rainy day that’s all that really matters
Only thing I would say is that it condensates when it’s cold at night like any single skin bivvy so an overwrap would be needed to stop that but it’s the same with every bivvy
I fish all over the winter I found that 6-5c or below it would damp inside although a lot of the time it was around the freezing point at night. any thing above that would be fine
What's it like inside mate is it dark in side & what's room like with standard bed
Hi mark no mate not too dark inside not sure what it would be like with the overwrap got one just not been able to use it for obvious reasons I’ve got a Nash wide boy which is near enough as big as they come and there enough to put bags and stuff in front of the bed so with a standard loads of room and the height is fantastic no slouching and back ache bundles of head room
Hi Joe can you leave the front door on the bivvy wen setting up and packing away.
Are you still using this have the front storm pole fitting pushed through the over wrap yet seems very mush like very little protection in this area
Still using mine still great
Do you get condensation inside the tent without the wrap?
just got one of these impressed with the quality but says on the labels you cant erect it with the front door in place is this true ? do you really need to zip the door on and off between setting up and packing away
Probably a stupid question, but can these be put up with the front infill attached? As I got my new bivvy we’re was a tag saying not to ?
Had one of these for two years now, im 6ft 1" and only have a standard size bed, i can get the bed in fine and fit two large bags either side of the door and most other bits go under the bed, in terms of floor space its been sound if you have a wide boy bed then you'll obviously struggle, im actually going to upgrade to the XL version now its out, its almost similar in size to the fox frontier XD but 200 quid cheaper, ive used mine in allsorts of weather and its stood up to gale force wind and rain. My only real gripe is no hook on the roof to hang a bivvy light but on the flip side it has tons of side pockets to put bits and bobs in
Question; How much is the 2 man version of this? or is it totally modular and comes as an add-on to the 1 man?
I wonder if the Titan T1 over wrap would fit?????
Does the brolly came with storm poles
Great review as always, hope you court some fish while you were there.
Court 😂😂😂😂
Caught....
Hi Joe, is the material good at blocking sunlight ?
Hi. Maybe you have seen one by now. But yes very good blocking the light out. I had to open the side vents on the door to let more light in
I have the AXS Brolly & Wrap... Bought the Brolly due to mainly day fishing, went on to nights so bought the Groundsheet and overwrap seperatly... AWSOME bit of kit, Shelter comes with Vents, but may upgrade to the full bivvy or just the shelter for vents purpose.
hi paul how much was it mate
Does the shelter come with storm poles ? Cheers mate 🎣
mark Williams yes
Can u leaves infill panel when packing away
Could you fit 2 bedchairs in this specific bivvy with the wrap on and infill panel taken out?
Had 2 so far, the 1st one went back straight away due to a bent front small pole on the canopy. The replacement has managed 1 outing and both front canopy poles have bent in gusty wind, so that’s going back as well.
It’s a nice shelter but it doesn’t seem very strong.
I’ve had a Korum shelter for years, no problems and thought that I was upgrading to this.
How strong was the wind
More like you bent them yourself because you wasn't putting them in properly!!
Is the centre block plastic
Great bivvy, never use the door, storm poles or ground sheet. Can use it really low and wide if you don’t use the tension straps. Takes seconds to put up as well, so selling my brolly.
And people spent 700 quid on a tempest 😅
would be even better with a vapour shield or cap instead of full wrap
Looks like a Titan for half the price, nice product, I do like the inner shell on a Titan though, although Nash support for a broken pole is non existent, been waiting 3 months now....
They sent me a pole within a week when the one on my hide Xl snapped. Talk to a guy called Karl in support at nash he was solid.
Why is it when looking online or viewing an upload very few tell you the measurements?
Where do you find the rear vents rod things to open the vents a little bit?
In the peg bag mate
had my axs about a year now have nothing but negatives getting an extractor bivvy soon though
Great bivvy as long as it doesn't rain
Why do you have one ?
@@garyharding2233 yes but had a little issue but as long as you buy all the bits. ie bivvy ground sheet front and over wrap. If you have it all works very very good as a one man bivvy
@@TheJamesjames1 what’s issue?
Can anyone help with the pack down size for the brolly please
150cm long mate.
Can you put it up with the front zipped on?
Yes, but the door needs to be open otherwise it bends the poles.
@@stephenbuff ok thanks. It’s just as iv now got one and it’s got a big warning triangle on it saying do not put up with the front panel in place.
Titan at a fraction of the price imo nashys taking the piss
What's the height internally. How tall are you Joe?
Dunno exact measurement but I'm 6'1 and I can sit up straight on my bedchair.
It's basically a titan
Is it me or does it look on the small side??
So it’s a Titan
Just got one of the bivvy. Only done 2 nights and is very easy to put up not as big as a tempest Width wise is fine but the depth of it is not as big as a tempest. Headroom is very good
Don’t like the groundsheet clips got better on my rucksack and can’t see why they did the clips rather than a metal clip like trakker and other bivvys use The groundsheet is also not a heavy duty one imo it’s good but but not a heavy duty one. The colour of the bivvy is very nice green The front storm poles are ok but while they go down the side of the bivvy they then cover the rod stays so then you can’t use them. All in all a nice bivvy quick to put up for the price I think it’s very good No bivvy is perfect for everyone Better than paying 700 plus for a bivvy that will change colour.
Really liked the look of these then I read the dimensions. I know they are a flat back but, only 1.75 deep is a LOT smaller than similar shelters. To put it into perspective that is 5cm shallower than a Aqua fast and light brolly and a whopping 59cm shallower than a Tempest. Probably great as a shelter for the smaller angler using a compact bedchair but, that is a niche market. For most it is going to be a bit cosy or, positively claustrophobic if you have a wide bed. I honestly think they have pitched this too far into the compact market. I was totally buying one until I saw how small they really are. Its a shame because I am a big fan of Sonik products and in all other respects it looks like a great bit of kit.
Not at all....I’ve got a solar wide bed in mine there’s loads of room I’ve been in some bad storms init too with just the shelter no front and it was fine, also I’ve got the fast and light and the sonic is way better just saying
There’s a lot more smaller anglers then fatties so I don’t think it’s a small market at all you mug
thats just a jrc stealth
See these at the carp show, tell ya one thing Nash titans sales will drop as I can’t why the t1’s are better especially when in my opinion the t1 material is inferior
Can anyone tell me whether you get a lot of condensation in the bivvy without the wrap?
Barely any. Material is great for condo
there not good price on the wrap,
Basically a rip off of the jrc stealth bloxx no??
Yep, JRC rip off....been using my Stealth Bloxx for two seasons now and no complaints at all, does what it's supposed to. Not too big a foot print, so fits into most swims, top quality material and packs down very easily.
It's looks small in inside tbh
It's not! I can assure you after being in my mates one
Differences between this and Jrc bloxx???
JRC IS DEAD....lol
Average looking
Hmmm me thinks this is a proper bull shitoo product!!!!
i bought the AXS bivvy, tbh i think its crap, 2 of the frame poles bent to fuck putting it up, so its totaly out of shape now :(
