1/3 scale V10 RC car part 17, Dyno run.

- čas přidán 9. 12. 2021
- Latest developments on the car front. I was hoping it would be a dyno success, but it turns out there is still some work to do. Anyway, it sounds nice with the headphones on!
Edit:- When I’m using the O2 sensor I put an extension pipe on. I know it wouldn’t work very well without it.
I’m still working on the next instalment, but there’s a short update here…….
• Some random car clips. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I spent 12 years working in F1 during the V10 era and I have also built a few IC model engines at home. The standard of design and implementation you achieve is just staggering. You are a real Genius, just amazing work. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Thank you.
@@Keith5700 will you sell engines like this because i would love to buy one and swap it on to my bike
No. You can get 1/4 scale V8 from Conley, in US, for around $8000 maybe. But it wouldn’t pull a person around on anything, as mine wouldn’t either.
@@thedalillama bro what
@@thedalillama I didn't know being an ass is an actual job.
I doubt most of us will ever comprehend the skill and determination to produce something like this. My utmost respect to you. Fabulous work.
Agreed.
My wife doesn’t for a start!
@@Keith5700 I have a solution to that. I give her a cash bonus equal to 10-20% of the cost of any toy I buy.
eg. New RC plane costs $600, she gets $120 cash.
Things cost a little more but having a happy supportive wife is priceless.
@@Wolfie6020 Ha, brilliant!
@@Wolfie6020 How much money does she get when you make something that actually works? Funny.
this is the dopest rc car i've seen in the world and i want one rn
Your overwhelming excitement and enthusiasm are infectious. Your heart rate must have shot up to 5 or 6 beats a minute.
Amazing, I loved following this. The details like the brakes, suspension arms and even the spoiler are awesome. And I wasn't expecting that exhaust to sound as cool as it just did. Great job as always!

Thanks. I must admit, it does sound good stood next to it, in a shed. I need a better microphone.
Right it sound better than my M3 track car.
Not better just as good as. Haha
@@Keith5700 can u make inline 6 ?

Your attention to scale detail is on another level. This is by far the most scale RC on the internet. You my friend are a artist and incredible fabricater
i see so many people giving their 2 cents and criticizing knowing damn well they've never even been close to building something like this
This will FOREVER be the greatest RC build in the history of this hobby. You're an absolute champ Keith.
This is a work of art! I love the way you have the rear wing articulated
"Here's the closing-nose thing"
-The language skills of practically every awesome mechanical engineer ever.
Most impressive hand built I've ever seen in my life.
Absolutely mind blowing! What you've done is beyond impressive! Truly amazing!
Amazing build and always excited to see the next video drop on your progress. Been a great time over the years and I share with all my gear heads.
Thanks.
This is the best rc build I have ever watched. Proud to say I've watched from the beginning (years now) I always enjoy seeing your little details. This time you blew me away with the electric bonnet, the raising wing, and that sound coming from the v10!!! Keep it up my man!!!
And omg that last few seconds of the video. What an amazing talent!
My God! The level of perfection in your work is so damn impressive. Right down to your exhaust trap. Thank you for sharing your time with us.
This is absolutely the coolest hobby project I've seen in my life. Keep up the amazing work!
this is better than some supercars just amazed.
I mean... I build custom RC cars.... but this is just a view into the cave of a mad scientist... Impressive project for sure!!!
This is the best car Ive ever seen. The professionalism of the build is mind blowing sir. Im gobsmacked by your car. The best. Simply the best ever.
Indeed. This gent is a hidden engineering Genius.
Dang I have no words. I really wish I could’ve meet people like you in my life as a kid
Keith, thanks for sharing. Your uploads never fail to impress - I am in awe at your levels of skill, knowledge and the way you approach things every time you upload a video.
On full scale you need 12-14” of pipe after an oxygen sensor for it not to be contaminated by outside air.
That thing is awesome!!! Keep at it!
Yes, this! The negative pressures and turbulence are going to mess with that sensor like crazy. Needs to be relocated. Could be tested using a fan to try to force air in/around it as well.
I was also thinking about this, but this could be easily verified by adding a hose like he did and take a reading with and without.
This is one of the coolest projects I've seen.
I'm so excited for the next things you do!
Really cool stuff, Keith!
Precision and attention to details at its finest! World Class! Thank you for sharing
I think I speak for alot of people when I say this. But we would love to know more about you as a person, you are incredibly talented and very interesting.
I'm not very interesting outside of the engineering world.
I'm just a bloke in a shed.
@@Keith5700 Lots of great things have come out of some bloke's shed, and British ones in particular.
@@Keith5700 you may not feel you are Keith, but I find myself very interested and intrigued into how you came about to be so skilled at what you do. I'm sure you have a very interesting back story. Anyway all the best and keep up the great work sir.
I love the longer format. There's plenty of meat on this project to talk for hours and still keep it interesting
Dude holy crap you are a bonafide mad man! This thing is beautiful and so, soo awesome!
I appreciate you sharing a piece of your journey with us.
Hey there,… been watching you build this awesome work of art …!
You’ve basically made every part for you can possibly make… with your talent,… I wouldn’t put it past you to build a full scale working car of the same caliber and finesse…
I clearly see you’re a perfectionist by how your components fit so tightly…. Somewhat reminds me of how Sebastian Konigsegg builds his cars
Have enjoyed all these videos!
👍😎👍😎🤙😎👍😎🤙😎👍😎🤙👍😀
Secretly, I wish Keith was my neighbor so I could talk his ear off about the infinite joys of mechanical engineering.
This is an engineering masterpiece. Spectacular job. All the small details like the raising rear fin are so cool
One of the best RC vids i have seen.. amazingly talented dude.
This is the sickest RC car I've ever seen in my life.
The most complex RC car I've ever seen, and probably one of the best RC engine exhaust notes I've heard. Fantastic work!
What you are doing is truely inspiring. Thankyou for sharing this adventure with us
As many others have said. That is an incredible build, sir. Your engineering and build skills are off the charts. IDK what you do for a living, but either way, this is an amazing display of your abilities. Speechless.
I like finding videos like this. They are quite humbling.
Model engineering at it’s
Finest.
Awesome job.
Take care
Stay safe
That is the coolest thing I've seen in a loooong time. Can't imagine the amount of hours that must have gone into it. Very impressive.
8500.
I bow down to your dedication in the achievement of perfection. You are a mechanical genius.
I watched two minutes of your video and subscribed right away. I'm not an engineer but a very mechanically inclined person and knew straight away this was a masterpiece of engineering, time, effort, and passion of various trades. Please share your knowledge and expertise to the world!
Most incredible rc car build I’ve ever seen.
This guy talks like he's hiding this build from his wife, he probably filmed this at 3am, while his wife is asleep. LOL. Bad ass build.
Like a serial killer
a person who can hear someone's talking yet can't hear engine roaring 10x louder than that. yep. definitely the wife
Wow the amount of engineering that went into this is truly a work of art!!!! I cant even imagine what you could do with a actual car!!! Epic simply epic every inch of it has me floored! Can't wait for an update!!!
The V10 finally spins the wheels! It takes big balls to do something that doesn't even work in a normal car. I've been waiting for the result since the first video, it's in sight, but I don't mind at all. Such thinking and production is not for the day. So far, every video is caressing my automotive soul. More elaborate the work, the more imperfect it is for the creator. 🤘
You said everything bro! This guy nailed it!
This is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen! That thing sounds absolutely monstrous. Never in my life did I think I would see a V10 hybrid RC car!
This car is amazing. Love all of the engineering you put into it.
AWESOME!!! Some People are born with such talent and intellect!
Like the guy who built this amazing work of Art!!!!!
Mind boggling, the amount of genius and detail is incredible! Kudos, you are a true craftsman. Can’t wait to see the finished product.
I absolutely love the car you have built over the years. I have been watching since the beginning of this build when you had only the engine running on the bench. I was drooling over just the engine. Then you put together this masterpiece of a car and it gets better and better every time you release a video. I know you will get that clutch figured out.
Thank you for sharing this. There's alot of crazy cool stuff on here but Holy moly ! You are the man. That is absolutely incredible!
Dude...Your voice sounds in the right levels for our ears. Its perfect! And your job is outstanding, keep up!
You have such an amazing variety of skills! Truly humbling to see such expertise put to practice!
This is the coolest build on the internet. A top notch endeavor. Hats off to you sir.
This is a design, fabrication and engineering marvel. I see you enjoy the build process more than driving it. We can never be happy with the finished product because there is always room for improvement or more whacky concepts to try. I love this build that will never be fully complete.
Spot on.
Yes, put the Supercharger on, this us a engineering and machining masterpiece. I'm absolutely amazed at your skills. Just found your channel and will be back. Truly AWESOME!
finaly the v10 is on dynoo !! i'm waiting since 3 years agoo wowww !!! amazinggg
incredible, crazy! you are a true genius. you do not stop at nothing, your imagination has no limits ... and then the detail of the details is monstrous. I have no more words ... thanks for publishing your masterpieces. Giorgio from Italy
The most beautiful mechanical masterpiece in the world! Thank you, that I am able to view it!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. From someone who simply isn't as smart, skilled or patient but desperately loves to tinker, modify and build. Thank you for inspiring and sharing your build.
It’s nice if it inspires someone.
@@guyvanbrussel9772 the motors were originally put on so I could play about with it in the garden, whilst testing suspension and brakes etc without the hassle and noise and smoke of firing up an expensive temperamental V10.
More powerful electric motors were put on later just for the hell of it.
The O2 sensor on the exhaust floored me. I forgot it was efi. So cool. Please keep after it. Having so many issues is a byproduct of doing something no one has done before. We’re all rooting for you!
This is the most impressive project I have ever come across, amazing!!!
That is one amazing bit of kit, the detail is just mind blowing, you should be very proud mate
Man you have got to be kidding me....been around this world and NEVER have i seen anything like this!!!!! GREAT!!!!!
Bro, it has a spoiler thingy that goes up when its in high speed!!!!! This shit is amazing
I cant wait to see this thing running
This is absolutely absurdly awesome. Down right phenomenal
This is off the hook. You are one amazing engineer work like this on a small project such as a RC car is just crazy I mean crazy beautiful.
Omg. This is amazing. I can't fathom how you have built everything from scratch. In awe of this work.
I was thinking the same thing
the ultimate rc? incredible workmanship m8 , well done!
Absolutely stunning! Beautiful work of art!
I've been following this build for years man, You've created something absolutely epic!
What a project, the attention to detail is amazing.
LOL the amount of dedication and work he's put into this car, it's truly a masterpiece, is so comically contrasted by that unenthusiastic voice as you describe insane stats. Don't worry, it's a perfectly good thing, keep up the great work!
How incredible is that. Your skills sir are just amazing 😍
I saw this incredible man toy a while ago and am glad to have stumbled across this video.
ASTONISHINGLY I wasn't subscribed.
As a young machinist, I had many opportunities to create but didn't have the insane motivation and will to take on such a project. Thank you for sharing this and explaining every detail. Your honesty and integrity are a trait we can all benefit from.
ALL my LIKES are LOVES!!!
This is by far the coolest thing I’ve ever seen
I am in awe at what you have created it's a piece of art honestly brilliant work you earned yourself a sub
Amazing! A lot of work went into this, beautiful!
Wow amazing work the craftsmanship is very impressive.. thank you for showing us your RC car..
Ive seen a lot of rc cars but this is the most insane and cooled thing ive seen now! Such a great piece of work. I specially love the wheels
This is some top nerd shit and I dont understand any of it and I fucking love it. Gobsmacked!
Thank you for this amazing build you are surely a master of your hobby, and spending 8500 hours + on a build is another level of dedication i hope you are being recognized in the RC community for this masterpîece !!!!! i cant wait to see you testing it on a drag strip waiting for your new video from morocco !!!
This has to be one of the most badass attention-to-detail build of an RC car that I've ever seen just the sheer attention to detail is mind-blowing all the way down to the homemade dynamometer!
Oh and of course it has active Aero I expect nothing less
It makes me happy knowing this exists. And people like Keith exist.
Awesome car, this is amazing. One thing: you might want to move the O2 sensor. Being so close to the exhaust exit, it will read air and is likely to read leaner than the engine is. The rule of thumb is at least 4 pipe diameters away from the exhaust exit.
That is the most badass rc I've ever seen wow absolutely amazing work 💯
Wow it's really coming along, cheers for the update - this whole project has been brilliant.
One of the best sounding RC engines! Can't wait to see it rolling on the road once you've sorted out the power problems!
This is a masterpiece of art and engineering absolutely amazing
*Extremely* impressive sir! Thanks for sharing it with us. 🖖
I have watched a few of your videos and you are a master, I'm equally amazed at your work particularly that v10!
The algorithm has chosen you brother.. ngl this’s genius
This is incredible! Subbed - looking forward to more videos of this beast!
I've been watching this build since the Beginning It's coming along nicely Awesome job man
I am so happy to see you are back! This is thos single most amazing project on CZcams, can't get enough of it!
The algorithm delivered on this one. What an amazing build, thanks CZcams for sharing this. The engineering is truly remarkable.
Love this build. You are a badass.
If you are going to boost it that is going to open a whole new can of worms. Heat, compression ratio, mini BOVs, size of fuel system. Can't wait to see what's in store for the next video. Keep on trucking buddy, we love the content.
This is the craziest and most badass project I've seen on CZcams!
Christ, this is f**king awesome! I don’t know what you do for a day job, sir, but I sincerely hope you are being handsomely rewarded for designing/building full-scale cars of this quality for a living. Absolutely outstanding!!
Incredible achievement, incredible skill and knowledge, well done
