- Watch as we transform our Redcat Monte Carlo Lowrider with the addition of off-road tires! We take on muddy terrain and muddy paths showing off the capabilities of this modified lowrider. Join us for this exciting off-road adventure! We took some off- road wheels from our cheap HBX monster truck and stuck them on the lowrider so see how it performs off road. We jack up the suspension for maximum ground clearance. Inspired by the Roadkill monte carlo, get ready for some laughs watching this crazy RC car.

I loved the video! I've been wanting to change the motor of my lowrider for months and I can't find any option because the original one is very small, I thought that there was no one crazy enough to do it. I wanted to put a hobbywing fusion or an ax... is that possible? I hate the original motor

A 380 brushless motor will swap right into it. An Ax is 550 size, so you’d need a custom motor mount and you might need to cut out part of the chassis. Honestly, the gears probably wouldn’t hold the power of a 550. The video I linked goes into how I brushless swapped it.

I think a 550 would stick below the chassis, and I’m not sure how to make a motor mount…… yet

@@10thScaleGarage something not as nice so you won’t feel bad about trimming a bit off the wheel wells so those tires don’t rub, maybe a Tamiya van body since those are pretty common in stock or a rally car body like a Impreza wrx.
