- 2004 Lexus RX 330 passenger side mirror glass replacement repair. Found this glass in a parts place. Has the auto dimmer feature. Repair went easy. Cost $165.00. The dealership wanted almost $500.00 to do the same thing. Took less than 15 minutes.
Thank you so much for this video!!! I’m 28 yr old female with no experience with cars and I just entirely changed my driver’s side mirror by myself on Lexus RX 400H. I bought used (like new) original mirror on ebay. WIthout your video would not be able to do anything. Thanks for showing that it’s not like 1 minute thing. I struggled to get it out first and then to clip back in. But hell yea after like 10 minutes everything was done. Much gratitude!

Hi! I have the same exact car as you (model, year, and color) and found this extremely helpful! I was hesitant to buy a mirror with the heating and auto-dimming feature, mostly because of the wiring. There are mirrors sold without those features that you can just pop back in, but now that I've seen that it can be done, I'm really excited to save some money :D Thanks for the great video!

Just re-fixed mine on an RX400h after clashing with the mirror of a van driver last night and yes seems quite difficult at first but I’m the light of day and with a little care the trickiest part is locating the clip on points at the top first then whilst pressing that in place press gently on the base to connect the two bottom clip things, then bingo as the saying goes we’re back on the road and legal again.

I have this exact model 2004 RX330. my replacement mirror , passenger side also, has arrived but it doesn't have those 4 long post things I see in your video. I am thinking I might have the wrong part here.

Hello, very good video! I have an SC430 and live in England so need the heated mirrors to work this time of year! The driver's side mirror (right of the car) has stopped heating. Do you know what I need to do to repair this? The malfunction has previously gone un-noticed as I only usually drive the vehicle in the warmer months but recently, I have started using this particular motor car once a week in order to prevent the battery from going flat. I have to drive the vehicle on a dual carriageway within minutes of leaving my home and really need the heat feature to function to ensure safety when overtaking other cars. Any advise?
Ok, help me out here. I just want to replace the glass part. The reason is the motor inside the mirror box is bad, melted the plastic around the glass part and the mirror itself is ruined. Is it possible to install just the glass without electrical connections? Thank you
I ordered the first one from a junk yard for 120 or so. I busted it again and got one with no dimmer fluid with the other hook up for 30 on line.

Need to know why my left outside mirror doesn't go up or down from the switch or when i put reverse doesn't go down either.

Pecos B52 you have to make sure your mirror setting is set to left or right. If the setting is in the middle it won’t tilt down when going in reverse

This guy makes an absolutely horrible video. He is lost in space on how to do this simply, easily and absent frustration. It starts with knowing what you are doing and ends with doing it so that all others can see it clearly. Terrible work.
Stop being so critical. It actually helped me out mirror back on. U have to tilt it up as he did and watch from underneath as he did.
