MaCenna, you can use a fork instead of a whisk when you're whisking something so small. Also, when it asks for vegetable oil and you have only solid form, melt in for about 30 seconds in the microwave. The difference in consistency can really change the outcome of your baked good. For not being experienced at baking, I have to say you did a bang out job, lady!
We used hair bands instead of elastic and made them with tie backs that worked too. Also we are adding a slit in the back and using vacuum cleaner bags sliced into strips to add as a filter and a thin strip of wire to tighten around the nose. Remember to wash them after you go outside. 🥰

This is such a good banana bread recipe if you have any of these at home, 2.5 cups self raising flour 1can of condensed milk 5 bananas. Mix all together and put in a slow cooker lined with grease paper. Cover with a tea towel and put the lid on. Cook high for about 2hrs. Mmm! X
Face masks are to prevent you from spreading the virus (whether you know you’re sick or not) but they don’t protect you against the virus. They’re recommended to wear to prevent you from spreading it. It’s amazing that you’re making them and you should feel amazing for that :)

Just mix banana bread enough for everything to be incorporated. This will give you a tender bread. I immediately added instant coffee to my online grocery order to try your frothy coffee. Cooking in quarantine is fun 😁 makes you think about how to change ingredients and how to use everything you have. Today I'm baking cheesecake without cheese, I'm using yoghurt instead 😁
The floured pan makes the bottom of the banana bread go from a 6 to a 10. Don't skip that. Also bananas that are like straight pretty dark brown and a little black in spots are the best to use. Oh and add dark chocolate chips or shreds with nuts!! Seriously soo Goooood!! 😋🤤

Girl, any kind of protection is better than nothing! If you're real concerned, double up on layers or even put flannel in as a layer. Also, I think (MAYBE don't go by my word) you can buy specific filter linings on Amazon.. but they may not even arrive until way late. So layering up may just be the best option if you're wanting something extra. You're doing awesome!
I can't believe you use the hotdog and hamburger method of folding! My mom taught me that when I was little, and I still use it! When I ask people about it they look at me like I am crazy!
My family does this whipped coffee since i was a baby! we make it on the mixer for a bigger recipe! It goes 50gr of instant coffee, 1 cup of sugar, 1cup of warm water... we keep on the freezer! It’s delicious! We call it “Café Cremoso” Creamy coffee... we drink it hot also!
You could freeze the second loaf of banana bread. If you don't have a freezer bag just wrap in foil. Nice job on trying all these things for the first time!😀

Banana bread is so forgiving. Adding some applesauce would make it less spongy. You can also make apple bread by adding chopped apples to it for a change and both can be frozen if you don't want to eat it all. Yours looked lovely. I'll be making some today as I have 4 over ripe bananas sitting there in my fruit bowl. Can't wait. 😛
