Dollar Tree has colored plastic containers with handles..that are like baskets.. or colored plastic children's pails. Both are super cute as gift baskets. I usually buy the red and green ones..and decorate them with the opposite color ribbons. Or sometimes I buy white plastic containers & fill them with blue items & finish with a blue bow. Or..you can also decorate the white containers with accents of silver or gold. Even black and white items with a black & white polka dot ribbon looks pretty cute. Almost any color accent works well with a white container..or even a white plastic bowl. Even plastic mixing bowls make cute gift baskets; I love using those for a baker's gift basket.
I'm doing a secret santa at work, and I'm so using some of these ideas with what I found at aldi, she will love it!
Such cute gift baskets! I always made a big gift basket for my sister. I would collect special things all year and find a big, beautiful basket to put it all in. She always said, that was the best part of Christmas. Boy, I am sure missing her this year. I buy presents for all of our furry babies in the family. My Nelly doesn't play with toys so, she is getting a new bed (I got it on clearance for almost nothing) and some pretty pink, baby receiving blankets. I got Milkbones for my nephews big dogs, hedgehogs in the stump, from Amazon (like the squirrels) for my sister's dog and another bed for my niece's cat (she always takes the dog's bed...lol). The Farmhouse Naturals are a good brand of dogfood. They are trying to promote sales by offering the trial size at DT. The pig ear should be ok .... maybe cut it in 1/2 though. Sometimes, they get so excited and gobble it down and get choked. It is 100 times better than giving them rawhide. ~love and hugs!😘❤️
Thanks, Kimi! Maybe that’s what it was - the rawhide - that I heard about making some dogs choke... I think the only thing Kenzie eats really fast is cheese HAHA She’s so picky like that. I think that’s so nice you get gifts for the furry children 🐶 🐱 ❤️ Kenzie has a stocking (which smelled the tennis balls we put in one year) and she ripped a hole in the bottom to get out her tennis balls while we were out... it was so funny... and her stocking still has a hole in the bottom 🙈 memories lol

I('ve made it clear to my kids for years I don't want them wasting their money on me.) My daughter one year gave me the best basket ever. It was a coffee basket with markdowns with the clearance tags still on it everything in the basket was an amazing deal! Coffee, mugs, creamer all marked down! The " Basket" was only made to look like a basket through her work on an old box. Sadly her younger sister saw my reaction to it when I saw the prices, however, she changed her giving style to me at that point which made me happy she wasn't spending too much

Debbie, please teach your daughters they are worth ALOT. We teach more by example than we do by what we say.

I'm with ya on the savings! My kids all got their thrifting skills from me. Trust that your daughters know what they're doing and are always hunting for the deals. Please don't deny them the thrill of surprising you! My mom was 'too thrifty' to want anything and it hurt us a lot...we just wanted to GIVE! Plz be a gracious receiver and allow yourself to feel blessed.

When my cousin died I made care packages for her daughters from dollar tree. They loved them. I included a Bible, small photo frame with her picture, a candle, tissues
I loved the spa basket..never would of thought of using the shower rack. Dog basket was awesome bc there is more useful items than premade stockings you can buy..I'm opting out of the pig ears and rawhide chews bc they stomach issues for my dog. Best video I've seen on gift baskets.🤩

@@StyleMySweets I love my pup so much...he ate them but with bad bathroom trips. I've seen lately those pig ears and similar treats have salmonella..which is bad for the stomach. Ty for your comment..I needed to hear something nice.

Pig ears are really good for small dogs and cow ears for bigger dogs, it helps their teeth when they chew it and coats cause the nutrients inside them
I was gonna comment just make sure it's not rawhide but I agree with you pig ears are very healthy for their teeth chewing on them and real bones helps with removing the plaque from their teeth but dont ever leave them alone when chewing a pig ear or bone they can get stuck in their teeth too
That art basket is an amazing idea! We have a birthday to attend right after Christmas and that would be the perfect gift!! I wish we had Dollar Tree here in Canada, our dollar stores aren't nearly as good, and the prices range from $1-$4 to sometimes almost $10+ depending on the store chain. You are so creative!

I live in Nanaimo BC Canada and we have two Dollar Tree 17:08 stores. Prices are $1.50 plus tax. Yes Dollarama is getting more and more expensive with prices now up to $5 to $5:50.

I am a diabetic. I throw away soo many diy gift baskets its a sin. Cant donate them either because there is not a complete list of ingredients and nutritional value chart. Depresses me.

You gave me such good idea about the dog basket I just started making gift baskets to sell and I'm probably going to have to do it on Etsy because in the area and state that I live in they don't want to pay anything they expect you to do it for free but anyway you got me a bunch of ideas because I already had a few ideas in my head but you got me more options and I put really big bows on my gift baskets because I know some people are being on presentation but thats personal preference..i think your gift baskets are perfect 💙💙💙💙

I love making and getting gift baskets. I also like seeing what items other people choose for baskets so I really enjoyed this video. One thing I know that is very bad for all dogs is those rawhide chews. They can splinter off and injure the doggies insides or mouth. ❤
My vet has told me numerous times absolutely NO rawhides and especially the cheap ones (and the stocking for the puppies) are awful 🐕🐶🎅💞

I have a small dog that is picky on what she eats as will. I feed her Solid Gold They are mini hearts. They are Grain Free, Gluten Free. They come in different flavors. The one I get for my little picky eater is Lamb, sweet potato, Cranberry recipe. Try some maybe your dog will like it. For a small bag $17.00 a bag. But it is worth it because I love my dog. Changing dog foods you have to be careful because there are so many recalls on different dog foods. The Solid Gold has never been recalled.

Love love love these!! Actually for Easter last year, I bought my boys so many Easter goodies that it wouldn't fit in their baskets Haha.. so I actually bought those same foil roaster pans, added some cutsie ribbon and tissue paper, added all of their goodies and used those giant clear plastic gift bags Dollar tree has and was able to fit the roaster pan baskets in it, the boys loved it!! I was even able to recycle the pans to have my boys put the easter eggs they collected in it and I made deviled eggs out of the edible eggs we dyed lol... I'm a new subscriber, so glad I found your videos!! I'm a sucker for diy decor on a dime 💕
