I found your channel last week. I am a woman who lives alone, but it is very interesting to see what you do. I was disgusted to see the dirt you blow out the pipes. I have a dryer for 8 months now and I keep it clean as possible. But I will make sure to have a technician come every few years to clean the inside of my dryer.

Perfect timing as serviced a Beko dryer yesterday and would not have thought of blowing down those pipes! Same sort of white deposit came out of the little pipe underneath, excess detergent perhaps (they don't use conditioner). Beer coming up for you!

Had countless issues with dryers over the years, yet I've rarely ever seen repairmen from Currys/etc ever take the time to do this basic cleaning. Foe me they've always come in & blamed a leaky door, tick a box, order a part that takes weeks/months to arrive, fob it off to the next rapairment....who more often than not find a different issue/wrong part. My god I hate dryers. Stopped paying for any warranties once the free ones run out from now on. Such a waste of money & hassle

I have a Beko very similar to this in a cabinet in my kitchen. After a couple of years use it now seems to let out a lot of condensation / wet air, seemingly from the back of the machine. Any idea what might be going on? Clothes still dry and the tank still fills up relatively normally.

my hoover tumble dryer worked well but I noticed the plug has melted through the extension lead! Do i just cut the plug and replug with a new one or do I replace the full plug?

You should NEVER use an extension lead on a dryer it's a serious fire risk hence the plug melting.

Hi mate, commenting on this on the off chance you can help me. I have a Beko Condenser and it keeps catching the end drawstrings etc on clothes. This time the metal end has come off the drawstring and is on the other side of the drum inside the dryer itself. Can I go in and get that following the steps of this video, or does the drum have to come apart altogether?

More than happy to help you this looks like it's a condenser tumble dryer. the first thing that you will need to check is that the filter and ducting system is all clear, then I suggest you take out the condenser unit take it into the garden and give it a flush through with a hose pipe on both sides to make sure all the fluff is removed as this is what condenses the warm moist into liquid so it goes into the collection chamber then you want to make sure the pump system is working correctly. If none of these cure the problem you will have to start looking at the heating system the heating element on this tumble dryer has a hi low heat setting you want to do a continuity check on the element to make sure it is not damaged. These two videos should assist you in maintaining it

@@PedroJaimeObrien what you really want to be doing is checking how much wattage is being pulled by the appliance. If you watch this video this is a cheap item that you can buy that will automatically detect whether the heating system is working correctly. If the heating system is good then you have a problem with the condensing system. czcams.com/video/NjEa_KZGWaQ/video.html it will really give you an understanding of what is happening with your dryer on your model. You should be pulling 2.2 KW if it is not pulling this and only say pulling 1300 then the heater is only working on half power. If you need further help use the contact us page and send me your telephone number

It all depends on where the noises coming from the common faults are the front lip of the drum is scraping on metal because the pads are warn, it could be coming from the back bearing and shaft you need to inspect this or on summer occasions it can be coming from the fan assembly
