At that brief moment, Anakin was filled with hate and anger long enough to be immersed in the dark side hence why his eyes were yellow and red.
Once he calmed down, his eyes changed back and he disconnected from the dark side.
He was sent there by Palpatine to kill the Separatists as they were not useful anymore and Anakin took the opportunity to get revenge on them for their numerous assassination attempts to kill his Mrs Padme.

I think he still loved Obi-Wan at this point so while he is Darth Vader he still loves Obi-Wan and Ahsoka. However, you can see that he's Vader since he is more quiet and he appears to be staring at your soul. Love suitless Vader.

I love how brutal Nute Gunray's death is, in particular. Vader stops to let him speak, only to cut him down before he can even finish his plea. The fact he deliberately leaves Gunray for last is a great detail, as Gunray was not only the de-facto Separatist Leader but also the one who put the hit out on Padme in AOTC, so it's personal.

These two scenes have so much importance in the whole entire Skywalker Saga: Anakin going to Mustafar to kill the Separatists Leaders thus ending one of the greatest and longest wars ever, The Clone Wars
Realizing the intensity of Palpatine’s betrayal from looking at Separatist Leader Viceroy Nute Gunray as he says “The war is over, Lord Sidious promised us peace, we only want” -, as he is killed by Anakin
And Anakin’s mind processing all this while still in its own process of turning to the dark side, he is being consumed by the dark side more and more as he kills one after another, and then shortly regretting it knowing its too late

Maybe my perspective has shifted due to the recent trilogy of mistakes, but you gotta admire the tactics of Palpatine here. Creates the separatist faction to spark conflict through the galaxy, orchestrates the production of the necessary force to counter such a threat. Takes command of the senate, making him the ruler of one side of the war. Eliminates all opposition, Jedi who seek true justice and freedom (are meant to at least) and the separatists who want power for themselves, creating a power vacuum only he can fill. By the end he appears to be the savior that ended the war, rallying the support of the galaxy and gaining the power to enforce his rule and crush any form of resistance...at least for a time. This right here is the original red wedding.

At 2:08 is when it gets to me because when Anakin is crying it’s not because he felt bad about what he did, it’s because he wasn’t that hopeful little boy who had dreams of becoming a Jedi and he had basically lost himself. That scene gets to be because there are times I feel like I lost touch with my younger self too, where I wasn’t that happy little boy anymore and grew up to be very angry, bitter, and had a very cynical view of the world and everyone in it (which I’m trying to work on by the way) but I think at times we all have those feelings.

When I saw this movie I was 6 years old, I loved anakin in the last 2 films, I liked the movie because of the action and visuals as a kid and saw anakin as a hero. When I saw revenge of the sith in 2005 I was so confused at why a hero falls to the dark, I mean heroes are supposed to always be good, help, save, protect, my little mind could not comprehend the sadness and powerfull message this film gives. He who gets owned by fear of losing someone is bound to do anything to save that person even if it means sacrificing your image as the hero I always saw to be Anakin Skywalker, this movie as a kid confused me, but as an adult it broke me because, there is a time in your life where you have lost people who you love in life and this feeling of vullerability and fear towards that is scary, its human and thats why I think this is the best Star Wars Film ever.
