    Tim's vocal range is already insane. He's one of the best singers out there right now.

    "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For (U2 cover) Home Free featuring Peter Hollens will blow your mind!!! Some of my favorite music genres are Doo-Wop and Motown! I love your reaction and nostalgia is the best feeling!!! Thanks for sharing your reaction with us!

    Josh, you are correct, singers usually have a sweet spot in a specific range, but with Tim everything is his sweet spot LOL. For more Tim, I would recommend "In my room," and "Since I don't have you," also part of his "Pieces of me" album. I would also strongly recommend you check out more of his work with Peter Hollens. They have an entire album of classic duets, all of them stunning, so you can't go wrong with whichever you select. I enjoyed your reaction, thank you!
    😺

      Agree all the tracks on Tim's solo cd are great & so are all the duets he did with Peter Hollens.

    Tim has a range of 5 octaves (the normal person has 2). So he can -- and does -- do whatever he wants when it comes to singing. And does them all brilliantly.

    Misty Mountain with Peter Hollens and Tim Foust. Jaw dropping... literally!

    Yes, Chris was really jiving along with the music - Chris has worked/sung/composed with Tim for 20+ years now. Tim's range is about 5 octaves and he sounds great throughout the entire range.

    Tim was already training as a tenor when his voice finally changed. He continues to train his entire range so he can be very versatile. He was recently featured by a group called The Bass Gang in their cover of Hooked on a Feeling.

    Tim just showing off his 5 octave range for ya. At the end, if you listen to Tim he’ll tell you more about the songs. Good reaction! He’s just so talented.😄 (Oh, that was his buddy Chris Chatham in the booth. He’s also a singer songwriter and performs with Home Free on So Long Dixie and with Austin Brown and Tim on My Maria).

    If you love this era of music do yourself a favor and purchase his CD called Pieces of Me. I absolutely love mine and play it often. I've been following him for 3 years and did not know he had this great range until this was released. I'm hoping he will release some more videos for a few others on this CD. Thanks.😊❤

    Stay at least is also on the American Graffiti soundtrack too, which is where I heard this one too! These songs he is doing are bringing back so many memories!! One of my favorite things is that before he switches his voice to his high voice Chris turns a switch in the booth! I always thought that was kind of funny!😄 Maybe it was necessary for the recording or something, but I always found that cool!😎 As always, looking forward to more of your reactions! Keep them coming!!👍👍👏👏

    Tim has such an astonishing range and (like Chance & Austin) he's also a song writer and his originals include: "Snow Globe", "What's Left of My Heart", "Champagne Taste" and "Full of Cheer" among others. All the tracks are his and his album "Pieces of Me" is comprised of doo-wop classics (I LUV doo-wop!). Thanks for playing this - love from Canada.

    Another great rendition by Tim Foust. Love his new cd with all the older doo-wop songs. His voice really suits this genre of music. We know he can really bring the bass but how about his falsetto? He has a 5 octave range. I have always loved these 2 songs from 1960 "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by The Shirelles & "Stay" by Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs.

    Both Tim and Geoff Castellucci have insane ranges, and both can hit notes usually assigned to tenors. By all means, continue exploring Tim's work, but you should also check out more of Geoff's solo work. High and Dry and Blackbird are beautiful and both display his full range. But my favorite is Shenandoah. It's just so smooth and beautiful!

    • @dagmar.6954
      @dagmar.6954 Před rokem +2

      One thing that sets Tim apart from Geoff is that he can show off his range consistently at live shows not just in the studio. Whereas Geoff has a hard time doing it live, but can only do it in a studio setting with lots of editing.

    Tim’s range is nuts! Some other basses may come close to his lowest of low notes but I’m not sure any other basses can match his high notes. With a beautiful vibrato to boot! 😁❤️
