I built this farm but no drown seem to spawn even though the difficulty is on hard any ideas why this is happening only reason i think its not working properly is because i built it kinda close to a underwater temple but Im not sure

Simulation distance needs to be on 4! no drowneds were spawning cuz I normally play on 6 chunks, i changed it to 4 and it worked perfect

This can work at night if you put a roof of leaves at the top of the drowned spawnpoint

There is two best xp farm for mcpe in my opinion
1 large gold farm
2 max guardian farm

Play on simulation distance 4 and if you are close to land lit those areas, it should work just fine

The drowned needs to spawn in with a Trident. It will then pick up the shell and drop the Trident it's holding

If it’s a full on mob farm either every type it would probably mess spawns up but if it’s a creeper farm which is specifically for creepers then no also if you built the mob farm for xp then I recommend a piglin xp farm since they’re easy and give around 30 levels in 5 minutes

Idk why many people are having issue but mine is working perfectly i even got 7 trident in under 5 minecraft. Tips if your farm isn't working
1 - build the farm 100 blocks up from sea level
2 - make sure your simulation distance is set at 4
3 - and also make sure your farm is built on ocean biome not any other biome
