How could Jesus empties himself? God can stop to be God? God can stop any of his attributes?
Jesus is 100% God, 100% man
2 distinct natures but unite. So if you try to go in any direction is simply a heresy.

You are referring to the Kenosis theory. It comes from κένωσις - [the act of emptying]. It becomes very problematic for understanding Christ, His Deity, and the very nature of Christianity itself.
One needs a better system for understanding this issue. One that comes without the implications that the kenosis theory brings with it. (this Q+A does a good job answering this question based on a reliable hermeneutical system)

What was Lucifer in charge of in Heaven prior to his fall? Music was one thing. So, can we see the draw to all kinds of music today that pleases our sin nature? For me, it’s a simple answer that any person could resolve without becoming a “Theologian.” No disrespect intended.

We were taught that when Jesus said it is finished he went to preach to the people that died in the flood ,there was no law so they could not go to hell, when Jesus was raised from the dead he took these people to heaven with him ,Matthew said there were peaple who showed up that had been dead and some people knew them.please help me, you guys blow my mind , I don’t know nothing.

    • @Mason_O
      @Mason_O Před rokem

We would say there was a law back then and the covenant of works wherein Life was promised to Adam and in him to his posterity, upon the condition of perfect personal obedience. Man by his fall made himself and those after him incapable of of life by that covenant, God was pleased to make a second, the Covenant of Grace wherein God promises Life by Faith in Christ even on that side of the cross. Like how we are saved and justified the same way today as Abraham was in Genesis. Based on the same covenant of Grace. Those on that side cross or that side flood were descendants of Adam and if in hell were there for Adams sin and if they didn’t believe and trust in the coming seed of Gen. 3:15 how else could Noah be a “preacher of righteousness” 1 Pet. 2:5 if there was no gospel back then? I believe Noah preached the Gospel of Gen. 3:15 by which those who believed were saved in the ark. Which was the heads of all the nations, the type of the universal Gospel. If there was no law there wouldn’t be a need for the gospel. We believe there was a law, and there was the gospel pre flood. At least I believe that

In Jewish tradition if you look at Shams "Hear of Israel" the first line stands for the whole. Thats why the first book is called Genesis.
When Jesus says "my God my God why have you forsaken me" he's giving the first line of psalm 22 so for me The Lord is declaring that Proohecy is being fulfilled

At ~32-39 min, they TRIED to explain how the Lord our God can know the end from the beginning while we have 'free choice'. A bit of 20th-century physics helps: 'time' (or 'time-space', since they're interdependent) is a TEMPORAL CONSTRUCT for the world in which we live. The eternal Creator God is OUTSIDE OF TIME AND SPACE. He is 'everywhere all at once' because HE IS UNCONSTRAINED BY TIME OR SPACE. Yahuah (Jehovah in English) be praised forever!

Jesus did into Hell [the grave] after his crucifixion He was DEAD! The breath [oxygen] no longer sustained his body. And what did he preach to the spirits? He had not been resurrected. He had not defeated the devil so what did he preach to the spirits. He told the thief on the cross "for I tell you today.....meaning NOW that when he came into his Kingdom he would be with him! Jesus did not ascend to Heaven after his resurrection but told Mary NOT to cling to him as he had Not ascended to his father and God....and her God and father!!! The spirits in prison were the fallen angels, I think these guys do a lot of fudging! Half the time I am not sure what they are talking about. But I guess I am just Simple! But then Jesus [the man...son of man] preached to simple people. Can you just imagine these guys preaching to the simple folks in Jesus" day?? God-man is mentioned NOWHERE in the Bible .

Sin doesn't necessarily "go" anywhere. When Jesus died, the guilt of all His people's sins were imputed to Him. In other words, the sins which we ourselves have committed: the guiltiness of those sins were accounted to Him. When this took place, God the Father poured out His wrath upon Jesus, for "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (II Corinthians 5:21); all of the sins of the people of God have been paid for in Jesus's sacrificial atonement. They are no longer accounted to us, and so we stand before God in the absolute righteousness of Jesus, which has been imputed to us.

Jesus told His disciples to preach the gospel of the kingdom; He did not say preach the gospel of sin.
He never told His disciples to become sin managers in His kingdom.
God pouring His wrath on Jesus on the cross is an excellent question.
And they are all making up their answer as they go along.
When it says Jesus who knew no sin; He's referring to the sin of following the gods of Rome that the Pharisees were doing.
Its correct to say that John the Baptist knew no sin.
The fallen angles were cast down to hell and reserved there for final judgement; so how did they escape from hell to tempt Adam and Eve in the garden?

I see it that Matthew 12:40 Jesus descended into the heart of the earth. In Luke 16 about the Rich man & Lazarus, there was a great gulf between where Lazarus was and the Rich man was being in torment. Now paradise is in heaven because he took captivity captive, those souls who were saved before the cross and where souls of the saved go to today upon death. Just the way I see it

Regarding the believer who was in fear that he fell from grace, there would have been a real good opportunity in that moment to edify him and tell him the truth, which is, if you are sanctified by the blood of Christ, you are sanctified for all time. Jesus offered his body once for all time as Hebrews 10 tells us! If you believe, you are not falling in and out of grace. God will never leave, or forsake those whom he has cleansed through the blood of Christ! For his children it is finished, your sins have been washed away. Heb 6:6 is speaking of a person who only took a taste of the gospel and then spit it out! They never believed to begin with! Otherwise you have a gospel that says the old testament believers had more cleansing through the sacrifice of bulls and goats, which was good for 365 days of cleansing vs the cleansing of Jesus which would only be good until your next sin according to a weak view of the gospel! And we no that Jesus is much greater than bulls and goats! And we now have his life giving Spirit living in and through us! Sin has been crushed by Christ, for those who believe!
