You can still do the forward 2,3 twice before ice breath. You will have to dash quickly to back 3 but it still a good string

Don't forget there's a combo string that starts with forward 2 and goes into his low heat vision. So you can mix it up doing the standard forward 2,3 or hitting them with a low mixup
Yeah but it’s very predictable and it’s punishable. Not to mention you have to be pretty close in order to perform it. I sometimes try to add a db2 after I do that, but then I get punished. You could do 111 into a low scoop, then try to mix them up with 112 (which is a hard knock down). But again it’s punishable. I even try to do f23 into low scoop to try to mix up. But that doesn’t work against most players. His 22 into low scoop is unsafe as well. And again you can mix it up with 223 or into 22 plus super breath.
It's impossible for me to hit the second 3 in his corner combo, f23 trait 3 3 db 2 like you showed. What am I doing wrong

Superman is actually pretty different He does have weaknesses. He's slow on his flying punch
Yeah his flying punch has that slow start up, which can be interrupted and punished. Also many characters can just duck and d2 you (even with meter bar if timed properly). I also have hard time opening up the opponent. For example b1 into super breath seems to get punished pretty easily. His f2,d1 into super breath is also unsafe. His 111 into low scoop is also punishable. His 22 into low scoop is the same as well. I’ve tried using 22 into super breath, 22 low scoop, and 223 for an overhead attack but nothing seems to work. His mix up game is pretty lacking. Maybe that’s just me and I need more practice or something. But I’ve done tons of practice and mastered all combos. Maybe I need to learn more on frame data or practice on blocking🤷♂️

I don't understand how they get hit laying down. I know it's gotta be right at the beginning of their wake up animation that they get hit, but do they even have a chance to block it? It seems a little unfair if they can't block an attack on their wake up.
Superman from what I've played of him is definitely not as good as he was in Injustice 1.

This is probably a super simple question but I was watching my Superman AI play and he did this move where he hits the enemy with a laser and then while they're grounded he like dive in from directly above to punch them in the spine. Can anyone tell me the button input for this combo? I haven't been able to figure it out. I just strayed playing Superman.

That’s his normal grab. It’s not a combo input. All you do is tap L1 when near the opponent.

On ps4 1=square, 2=triangle, 3=the letter X and 4=trait. F=forward, B=back, J=jump, N=neutral, and MB= meter bar.

How do you freeze the opponent with superman?
So start off by doing his super breath (which is db2), then right when you are in the super breath animation tap the MB button. Super simple.

how do i beat robin with superman?
Robin is a rush down character who keeps pressure. I know this is going to sound stupid, but zone him out. That is his weakness. He lacks any projectiles that do damage. I also would play more patiently on defense, once they make a wrong move then punish them immediately. Robin has very very small gaps in his attacks that you can punish or poke out. I would also manage my meter bar a lot more and activate trait every chance you get. That way robin can’t b3 or f3 himself out. Also do practice mode and put it to very hard and learn to read his attacks. It’s going to be annoying, but it’s definitely going to help you improve. Hope that helps!

I wasn't mashing it at all , i kept trying and trying and only very FEW times have my heavy hook connected to the flying punch, is there any goddam thing I should lookout for to make sure it connects??? There's *a higher chance of success* when I do jump 2 or jump 1 and it's a confirm guaranteed hit , it ends with lesser damage of 43-44% but it's really the only way I can make sure it hits...
