We don't see any arms at the end while he shout. I m pretty sure his both were tear apart. He quickly died from hemorrhage right after they dived. At least he didn't be drown it's better than anything , l guess..

If that had been my son ...my son is 10 years old . I'd have likley screamed the place down and then dived in and yes as a mam try to save him . I couldn't have just stood there . And the woman's neighbors said that they heard terrible screams coming from her house. The neighbors were frightened and even wanted to call the police, because at that time they did not know why the woman was screaming so loudly. The poor woman was in such shock. You hold it steady and make sure the video doesn't go out of focus, trying not to miss a single bit of the horror unfolding in front of you. I'll never forget when me and my ex went to Sharm el Sheikh and took a coral reef excurtion one day. 2 hours out at sea to swim and snorkel around 3 reefs, on the second reef the lead diver alerted us that he had spotted 2 sharks in the depths and we all had to get back on the boat. Those Egyptian waters arent a joke.

In the longer video on Reddit it shows lifeguards in a boat show up a split second after he was pulled under completely. During the last 5 seconds before he was taken under you can see the blood in the water.

I can normally handle pretty graphic content, but the graphic version of the video is pretty tough to watch. If you haven't seen it, I recommend to not watch it. Seeing the poor man scream out in agony knowing this was his last few moments of life is hard to watch.

I don't think he's swimming because the shark partially has him in it's mouth and the guy is holding on to its upper nose and lower mouth hoping to free himself.

This is just after the attack when the shark was feeding. The full video can be seen on the usual so called “shock sites” showing him trying to swim away before being pulled under amidst a large spray of blood, then screaming for help before the shark circles behind him and hits him again from the side and pulling him under for the final time.

They were not clapping for “entertainment”. Their instinct made them make noise however they could to scare the shark (which is absolutely useless in hindsight). There was the one with the guy in Australia not long back got breached by a great white you literally see him swimming with only torso on 1 arm trying to get towards rocks before the white attacks again and he's just a floating torso in blood. Creepy and awful way to go
The Red Sea has a history of maulings. He should have been in shallower water. Once the water is above your armpits, your chance of surviving a shark attack is slim to none because you can't use your arms to help move your legs & run. May he RIP!

If the government is aware of sharks being sited nearby, then of course, by all means without a fail, they should put up barriers or something so sharks etc, can not breach the perimeter of the barriers. I'll never forget when me and my ex went to Sharm el Sheikh and took a coral reef excurtion one day. 2 hours out at sea to swim and snorkel around 3 reefs, on the second reef the lead diver alerted us that he had spotted 2 sharks in the depths and we all had to get back on the boat. Those Egyptian waters arent a joke.

I can normally handle pretty graphic content, but the graphic version of the video is pretty tough to watch. If you haven't seen it, I recommend to not watch it. Seeing the poor man scream out in agony knowing this was his last few moments of life is hard to watch.

I don't think he's swimming because the shark partially has him in it's mouth and the guy is holding on to its upper nose and lower mouth hoping to free himself.

This is just after the attack when the shark was feeding. The full video can be seen on the usual so called “shock sites” showing him trying to swim away before being pulled under amidst a large spray of blood, then screaming for help before the shark circles behind him and hits him again from the side and pulling him under for the final time.

@@kippetjes4i think both...most of people who watched there were not able to as it couldve been attacked them too but at the same time they managed to at least scream as loud as they could to scared the beast off of attacking the man...and most of people there not even trying to because they knew they couldnt.... i dont want to say this but to me it feels like a dilemmas, like 3 years ago, at night which was dark, a friend of mine was about to wash his feet into a pond behind his house, he didnt realize that a big cable of power house fell into that pond..it took a seconds to see him struggling to death, while in the process another friend tried to grabbed his hand but ended up being electrocuted to death too. we couldnt do anything untill firefighters came.
What's even more disturbing is that people felt the need to film this!
in a way im glad that it was filmed as a warning to others about sharks ; but yes there are alot of internet freaks that will make fun of this video. Unfortunately the age we live in , alot of bad events are filmed by bystanders
@Roma Invicta it's true. Watching this is life changing and almost traumatizing. I feel awful for him. I will never forget this. Living in fl I go to the beach a lot and the older I get I say I'm not going out any more. But then it's so hot I do. So yea I never will again for real this time.

They were not clapping for “entertainment”. Their instinct made them make noise however they could to scare the shark (which is absolutely useless in hindsight). It’s pure panic and horror in display and there is nothing they could have done especially at that distance. Just their human instinct telling them to do something no matter how uneffective it is 😢

People dragged into a war they don't want to fight in, and civilians caught in the cross fire. Yes, I hope for a quick finish too, but at the moment it doesn't seem likely.

The Red Sea has a history of maulings. He should have been in shallower water. Once the water is above your armpits, your chance of surviving a shark attack is slim to none because you can't use your arms to help move your legs & run.

The most devasting that this was a beach and not that much open sea.. The problem is no-security beaches like this one. Hurghada really fails when it comes to beach guarding and securing it to be safe.
@Samurai Sx Really is a shame! The government has no concerns for the safety of its people and tourists alike. If the government is aware of sharks being sited nearby, then of course, by all means without a fail, they should put up barriers or something so sharks etc, can not breach the perimeter of the barriers. I'm glad my feet stay on dry ground, n if I feel like a swim, I'll visit my local swimming pool. And for the open waters, whether infested or not infested, hell No!
